Amazing! Loved it!

We were so excited about this trip and booked it 5 months out. The property did not disappoint. It is in a great location - close enough to Caddo Lake, Jefferson and Marshall. The upstairs screened in patio was fun to enjoy the river view and the bottom deck on the water was relaxing.The home was well decorated and very clean. We are looking forward to coming back here again.

Beautiful Property with Awesome Views

At first no luck on fishing, but finally caught a small bass, a large carp, and a small catfish on minnows. We had some rain and some cold but the Lord provided nice breaks in between so we could venture more outdoors. Took the boat tour and ate at Big Pines Lodge. Sat by fire pit and on the deck when weather permitted. Cabin is beautifully decorated and had all the things you need. Only issue is stairs if you have knee problems.

Great House and Location

We came for a few days to explore Caddo Lakes. The house is close enough to get to Jefferson for restaurants and shopping and to get to the state park and the lake. Highly recommend!

Perfect Retreat on Big Cypress Bayou

My husband and I enjoyed this beautifully designed cabin which was clean, modern, open, and spacious. We only used the primary suite but the other two bedrooms were also well-appointed and looked roomy and comfy. This cabin would be perfect for a family or larger group. The outdoor areas are what make this property extra special. The huge upstairs porch has lots of seating, as well as a patio table with chairs, and is entirely screened in so you don't have to worry about mosquitoes or bugs. The ground level decks are also very large with a level for lounging by the fire pit and a second deck below for fishing, swimming, and sunning. The cypress tree growing through the deck is unique. It is close to Caddo Lake State Park and also a few miles from Uncertain where we took a boat tour and there are also places to rent kayaks, fishing guides, etc. Checking in and out was seamless and the hosts were responsive and clear on their expectations. We will return if we are in the area again.

When we walked onto this plot of land and saw the water, we fell in love. We love the overlooking screened in porch as well as the swim deck with the cypress tree growing up through the middle of it. We believe this is a place of rest. When we're here, time slows down and we can reflect and be grateful. We invite you to do the same.

Most properties on Caddo Lake are older and not in great shape or even if they are, they are furnished poorly.

We wanted to offer a beautiful, modern and comfortable experience inside the home as well as multiple ways to enjoy the outside of the home - with the screened in porch with ceiling fans, the outdoor patio furniture with fans outside, and the large swim deck below it - where you can access your own boat directly from the Big Cypress Bayou.
