Bienvenido a nuestra idílica granja en los hermosos Berkshires, donde disfrutarás de la tranquilidad y el confort de la vida en el campo en cualquier época del año. Relájese, disminuya la velocidad, observe a los pájaros en el jardín, escuche el murmullo del arroyo. Esta es una granja de 2 pisos de 1840 en Berkshires con vigas de techo originales y tablas de piso de 16 'en gran parte de la casa.
Completamente amueblado con 5 dormitorios, 2 baños completos y un magnífico porche con vistas a 4 acres de jardines, arroyos y montañas boscosas.

Cuenta con una cocina rural totalmente equipada con lavaplatos, microondas, horno tostador, cafetera y muchos utensilios de cocina.

Un comedor completo con mesa de carnicero con capacidad para 12 y 2 juegos completos de vajillas; Vasos, tazas y copas de vino.

Una gran sala de estar con 2 sillones completos (uno es una cómoda reina que se puede sacar y el otro es un gran sillón para dormir durante la noche), un sofá de dos plazas y mecedoras. WiFi / TV por cable / VCR / DVD / Estéreo / y reproductor de CD.

4 dormitorios en planta alta: 3 con camas dobles y 1 con cama individual.

1 dormitorio en planta baja con cama king.

The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. Nine of us went on girls' trip and there was plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably. Elaine is an amazing hostess, and her pottery is just wonderful! I would recommend this for anybody that would like a nice place to stay for a large group.There is plenty of room to spread out.

Great for Family

The farmhouse was perfect for our family getaway weekend with our adult children. Very spacious living room, dining room, and five bedrooms helped make our stay very comfortable and relaxing. Elaine, the property's owner, was very accommodating and informative. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are visiting the Berkshires.

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! We were five adults. The house was comfortable, very clean, spacious and well stocked. The house is pet friendly and the property made it easy to walk our dog. The host was friendly, very responsive and even picked a fresh salad for us from her garden. Our host had many wonderful recommendations for activities, restaurants, etc. The location is perfect for activities in the Berkshires. We plan to return.

With 5 bedrooms & 2 baths, this property had plenty of room for our family & pup. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee in the enclosed porch. Elaine is a great host, greeting us upon arrival & the fresh flowers & organic greens from her garden were greatly appreciated. Thank you Elaine!!

Peaceful Berkshires getaway

We had a lovely stay in the Berkshires. The house is in great shape for being almost 200 years old - very well maintained and clean. We had plenty of space for our four adults and two kids. Elaine is a fantastic and attentive host. A perfect long weekend away with family. Highly recommended!

Elaine was a wonderful host! She greeted us with beautiful flowers and fresh vegetables from her garden. She provided great advice on local travel and restaurants. Genuinely historic and comfortable farmhouse, well stocked with all the amenities! House is well located for Tanglewood and other Berkshire attractions. We particularly loved the screened porch and the spacious dining room. She is also a talented potter with whimsical treasures for sale in her shop near the farmhouse.

Elaine was a gracious host, welcoming us with a bouquet of flowers and fresh cucumbers and lettuce, all from her lovely garden. The summer porch was our favorite place to gather. Our family and two dogs had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for visits to Tanglewood and Shakespeare & Co., Kripalu, hiking trails, Stockbridge, and Lenox. An added bonus was Elaine's pottery studio, where one of my daughters found a beautiful, hand made pitcher for her home.

Elaine is a wonderful host - so thoughtful and generous. We had a terrific family vacation with 5 adults and two dogs in this charming and well-situated home. We loved being close to Stockbridge, Great Barrington & Lenox, and we also took easy drives to Hudson and Williamstown. The house had plenty of seating, a large dining table, and a grill among many other great features. We loved sitting in the screened porch on some very hot summer days. We would absolutely return.

Great New Years Getaway

We were 2 families of adults celebrating the new year. This house had everything we needed. The house was quaint and had some great hiking right behind it. The owner and her pottery studio also lived in the property. A short drive to Stockbridge and great Barrington.

4 friends in the Berkshires

This is a quaint farmhouse with a fabulous porch for breakfast and evening cocktails. The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water and the hostess, Elaine has thought of everything you could possibly need. She shares her fresh produce from her garden to add to our meals. She is very helpful with directions and information on local sites. The location is perfect for exploring the best the Bershires has to offer! We had a wonderful week! We look forward to returning soon!

Elaine was a wonderful host, and I highly recommend her for your next stay. The house is roomy with plenty of space for our large party. There is no AC so we had a few uncomfortable nights but there were fans in every room which helped a great deal. We had a great time, and the house is in a perfect location Tanglewood, although Rt. 41 can be a very busy road. West Stockbridge is a quaint, lovely town with some exceptional foodie places.

Lovely place although a little dusty

The place has a lot of character, we loved the wooden materials and utensils. It's pretty spacious with 5 beds. No hot tub/jacuzzi, only shower, and no fire pit either. The host graciously gave us flowers and fresh vegetables from her garden. She was very communicative and emailed us lots of recommendations for activities in the area. The only complaint is the sofas and beddings are a quite dusty and gave us all allergies.

So sorry vy. This was the first time of the fall that the heat was turned on, and it always takes a bit to "mellow out". Sorry that you were the ones to do the mellowing! it was not the sofas and bedding, but the baseboard heaters coming on for the first time of the season. again apologies

Quaint Berkshires farmhouse

This was the perfect place to gather for a group of adults (family and friends) coming together for a Tanglewood extended weekend. The charming farmhouse had lovely quaint details, such as exposed beams, wide plank floors, quirky closets. We spent most of our time and had all of our meals out on the ample screened porch, looking out over the lovely garden. The kitchen was well equipped. As it is an old house, we kept the windows open to keep it aired out. And thankfully every window had tight fitting screens and really effective fans, which were all we needed to stay comfortable even on hot nights. Elaine was a gracious and friendly host, and really made us feel welcomed. Our only reservation would be for people with mobility concerns: 4 bedrooms are up a steep and narrow staircase. This was not a concern for any of us, but it could be challenging for some, or for people with heavy luggage.

Spacious and Inviting

My wife and I wanted a place that was quiet with a comfortable reading room and accessible porch, close enough to town and still distant enough for serenity - and this house had it. Not that we needed it but it's important to acknowledge that the house has 5, count 'em, 5 bedrooms. It's a bit rustic, as disclosed, but the master bedroom upstairs was very comfortable. Plenty of sheets and towels and a very well-stocked kitchen. We did not need the dining room but that was a lovely room as well. The house is on Rte 41 so there was the sound of traffic, but at night so few cars passing it was not an issue. Our favorite room was the wide and comfortable screened-in porch, where I spent most of my time. The drive to Great Barrington is under 15 minutes and Stockbridge is even closer. All of this is delightful, but the best feature is Elaine's hospitality - always available if we needed anything but never interfering. She is fascinating: be sure to ask about her personal, worldly life experience.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this 19th-century farmhouse just outside the town of West Stockbridge. We truly felt we were out in the country--lots of birds, flowers and greenery, and even one sighting of a black bear--but we were also within a short drive of the many concert and theater venues, museums, restaurants, and shops for which the Berkshires are famous. Our host, Elaine, was very friendly and responsive to all our questions and even offered us fresh vegetables from her garden!

I am a potter who loves to get my hands in clay.
Hands in dirt is not a bad thing either, as I love to garden ,as well.
I have a large vegetable garden and perennial gardens all around the property. If you are here in season, you may be able to partake of my garden vegetables and/or flowers to decorate the farmhouse.
I also love to hike the trails right out the door- Up the mountains, and down to the river.
These are a few of my favorite things!
I hope that you can come and enjoy them too.

This Farmhouse has been in the family for nearly 50 years. We have developed the land and buildings and have enjoyed its solemnity and tranquility.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The farmhouse is just 2 miles from downtown West Stockbridge where shopping necessities, galleries, restaurants, playgrounds, tennis, and swimming are all available.
It is within 10 minutes from Tanglewood, theatres, movies, museums and other cultural activities, as well as ski resorts.
And yet a lovely place to just sit and contemplate on the screened in porch overlooking the fields, gardens, stream and wooded mountains.
