Hi! Please tell us about the people in your group- ages and jobs etc. We like to know who’s staying in our home away from home!
If you’re requesting to bring a pet, please let us know what kind of animal, breed, age and weight. We charge a fee of $60/pet that can be automatically added at the time of booking or we can accept typical forms of electronic payment.
Main level:
Queen bedroom (sleeps 2)
Bunk bedroom (2 bunk beds+trundle, sleeps 5)
Full bathroom with bathtub
Kitchen, walk in pantry, dining, living, laundry
Second floor:
Loft queen sleeper sofa (sleeps 2-3)
King bedroom (sleeps 2-3)
En suite full bathroom with bathtub
Walk in closet with travel crib and additional twin mattress if needed.
We also want to make sure you’re ok with our house rules, and the rules of our Home Owners Association. Please read them over and let me know that you, as well as others in your group, will be able to follow.
Unfortunately if any HOA rules are broken or we receive any complaints, we will pass on the HOA’s hefty fines to the renters.
Please clean up after yourselves AND your pets - this is our home away from home and we’ve put a lot of time and love into the home, we appreciate our guests to be respectful of our place. No additional day or night guests beyond the number that you’ve told us about. If you have ideas to invite additional people, let’s talk about your plans!
We have a smoke-less solo fire pit for the deck! Fire extinguisher must be near at all times. Please no other outdoor fires allowed, no fireworks, no sparklers and certainly no firearms.
We have an indoor fireplace with high efficiency logs in the garage. You’ll only need one log for many hours of burning, fire starter sticks make starting the fire much easier!
We do have a smart TV, but if you want to unplug and spend time with your loved ones, we have lots of books and puzzles, and board games! Better yet- enjoy the outside surroundings, that’s why you’re here after all :)
When you’re out on our deck at night, please no loud conversations or music past 10pm, especially while in the hot tub with the jets on, voices can get louder than intended. We have friendly relations with our neighbors and we’d like to keep it that way! Similarly, quiet hours before 7am. Please make sure all exterior lights are turned off at night, the HOA requires dark hours, thank you! (Although you will see some neighbors who leave their lights on all night).
If there are any spills, please clean them up immediately so they don’t attract pests. If you see any pests, indoors or outdoors, please let us know so we can call the appropriate people, thank you!
Please move all furniture back to where you found it.
If anyone parties too much and becomes sick, please make sure you’ve cleaned it all up so we don’t have to.
Please take all trash out to the trash bin in the garage (making sure it’s not overflowing out of the bin, lid closed so rodents can’t get in the bin). If there’s overflowing trash, you’ll need to take it back home with you or you can dump it for free at the “New Meadows Transfer Site”. We have a neighbor come into the detached garage every Thursday to take the bin to the curb for Friday morning pick up.
All dishes loaded in the dishwasher, or washed and dried and put away please. Bonus points if you start the dishwasher for us, soap is under the sink :)
The day before check out:
Please start the laundry. Because of the hot tub, guests use an excessive amount of towels. Please wash, dry and fold towels that you won’t need the morning of your check out.
At check out: please spray any stains with stain remover. If you have time, we would love for you to start the laundry (dark colors separate from light colors), as this can really speed things up for our cleaners! If you don’t have time, no worries, the next best thing is to please leave all sheets in a pile near the laundry machine. If you’re really short on time you can of course leave the sheets on the bed! Towels that you don’t have time to wash: Please leave wet towels hanging so they can dry in case we’re not coming to clean right away.
At check out please make sure all baseboard heaters are at 55 degrees and no fabrics (towels or sheets) are near. Please unplug portable AC units.
If you want to use the seasonal recreational facilities, including golf (closes in October), tennis, swimming pool (closes in September), pickle ball courts, cross country ski trails, there is a $10 per person, per day access fee. Golf requires a reservation and an additional fee. For more information you can look up Meadow Creek Golf Resort and also the Osprey Cafe at Meadow Creek. There is a free fishing pond!
All pets must be leashed when outside and waste properly disposed. Our deck can be enclosed for your pet, please make sure no poop is left on the deck! ***Please clean up all paw prints and any accidents your pet may have had***. $60 pet fee is appreciated!
Once you’ve read through this, and would like to request to stay with us, please tell me your favorite dessert so I know you’ve read through all the rules ;)
Thank you!

Our driveway is steep so best to park in the garage, especially in the winter when roads can be slippery. You can also park at the bottom/flat part of the driveway, just please remember not to park on the street!
**If snow from the roof is starting to melt, the roof snow can slide off onto the driveway, please make sure your car is not parked on the driveway in line with the house- best to park either in the garage or at the bottom of the driveway, thank you!
