The room was clean and we enjoyed being beach side. It was also quiet there. The bed was comfortable and we are picky about a comfortable bed. We didn't use the pool, so can't leave a review for it or the gymThe parking wasn't good. We were paranoid each time we left that we'd return and there would be not parking for us. The instructions said to "park in front of the building" and there were not enough places for everyone and there is no other place to park. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful condo, amazing view. We really enjoyed our stay, nice quiet 15-unit building. The condo was spotless, super easy to check in and out. Our host was great with communication; responses were communicated timely. The daily free activities provided with our stay were awesome.

It's perfectly located , clean and quite. There is covered parking if you desire that. As always the case with rentals of this nature the furniture is either too soft or too hard lol. Thanksgiving Getaway

Wonderful condo right on the beach! We were able to enjoy quiet time together away from others. The beach wasn’t crowded and the free beach chairs were a great perk! The condo was beautiful, comfortable king size bed and all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Overall this was a very good property. I would recommend it. Some of the positive highlights were the small size of the building in general made it a quieter area. The view was incredible and the property was clean. The master bed was fairly comfortable. The communication with the property manager Brooks & Shorey Resorts was prompt and helpful. The pool on the roof is an exceptional amenity, fun and very unique. Some small suggestions for the future would be some updating including: the kitchen area- cabinets, counters and refresh on the living room chairs. Also a little more contemporary decorating would go a long way - four large pictures were haphazardly hung in the bedroom and were not centered. Condo could use some new barstool cushions etc. Also a few more thoughtful things like coffee filters and maybe a small bag of coffee for the first night/morning. None of these were major but these small touches are important and for the price point probably necessary updates. Also, the fitness room had pictures from 1994/1995, a VHS player with the workout videos "The Firm" from 2001. We used that space but 1000 from the HOA fees could probably do wonders for an update/refresh. The main reason I gave this four stars instead of five is the checkout time of 10am. Even then we had a knock on the door from the cleaning staff at 9:30 (and although she was very sweet), a 10am checkout on vacation is already early so to feel rushed at the end was a little disappointing. Grade "B"

While we understand your concerns regarding the fitness center, please note that the gym is maintained by the HOA, and neither the property owner nor Brooks and Shorey Resorts has direct control over its condition. Additionally, the fees associated with your reservation are paid to the property owner and management company, not the HOA. A 10:00 AM checkout time is standard for vacation rentals throughout our area and allows our housekeeping and maintenance teams adequate time to prepare the property for incoming guests. We also understand how important furnishings, décor, and amenities can be to the overall guest experience. We strive to be transparent about what is and is not provided so guests can plan accordingly before arrival. Your comments are valuable, and we will be happy to share your suggestions regarding the furniture and décor with the property owner for future consideration. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Stormy weather

Spent a lot of time in condo due to stormy weather. Very nice place and just as described. Great location. We were shopping for a bay boat and location was central to several dealers and private sellers in the area.

Great Location

The location was great, the rental was spacious. The rooftop pool was wonderful. Our unit had a Murphy bed which was a big hit with the kids. The check-in and out process was simple and hassle free. The only mild inconveniences at the time of our visit was the elevator not working for a short time, and the smell of our rental when we first arrived. The staff was responsive and friendly. Overall a great time!

Beautiful and clean room, great location.

Me and my husband went to celebrate our anniversary and we had the best time. We wanted to stay in a small condo with not as many people and we were completely satisfied. Easy beach access and the location is great. We were not right in the middle of town, but close enough that everything was easily 5 or so minutes away. Our room was spotless and check-in/check-out was super easy with great instructions. The listing was spot-on accurate and there were no surprises. We also had Alexa equipped in our room and we could ask anything from pool codes to where were the best places to eat. Will stay again!

This had to be the place i needed to go to, to really relax, I was just in Ahh. I loved it all. Oh might get a new bed, the blocks under the bed you can feel threw the bed. Other then that, i have no complaints

Much needed relaxing mini vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful weekend getaway. It was close to great restaurants and shops. The best part was easy access to the beach and the view from balcony. We were late arrival and our vacation package info was easy to pickup with access code at office. We hope to come back to Ft Walton and stay here again.

No other place on the Gulf Coast provides the combination of luxury and relaxing community feel as OKALOOSA ISLAND in Fort Walton Beach. With its natural beauty, this is truly a place where you can relax and unwind. THANK YOU for your comments on your LATE ARRIVAL check-in, we appreciate you pointing out the ease of which you can collect your info for the evening you arrive, to get you to and into your condo for the evening. Fort Walton provides everything Destin and Panama City do, only at a LESS CROWDED pace. It's great to not have to fight the horrible traffic that backs up sometimes. Your feedback is sincerely appreciated, we hope to have you back again as a repeat guest for another quick weekend getaway, if not longer!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the stay and the condo. It was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed other than we would have liked more options on the TVs. (although we didn't watch much) The chair and umbrella was a great perk. Loved the roof top pool. The outside of building doors etc could use some painting just as a first impression

First Timer And Will Be Back For Sure !!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was very nice , super clean and in what I consider an ideal location. The unit was very clean, the Brooks and Shorey Staff was extremely helpful and available. We did need maintenance for a minor problem and Mike was super professional and genuinely a nice guy. My wife and I are already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Brooks and Shorey and Gulfside 302 owner for a great experience!!
