White Azure es una villa ecológica contemporánea ubicada en el Golfo de Tailandia en la costa este de la isla de Koh Phangan.

Beautiful views and exactly as pictured

Absolutely loved the villa and it's as beautiful as pictured. Dominic was a great host offering to drive us around and he really took care of us. The staff that came with the villa were truly amazing and helpful. She helped take care of all our needs including cooking and cleaning. Only thing to note is the location is very isolated and off the beaten trail. Taxis were not always aware of the location or willing to drive all the way to the villa but aside from that it was a perfect stay and place. Would highly recommend.

Paradise

We enjoyed a wonderful time at the Villa. The property is stunning and very well designed to enjoy a relaxing time in a beautiful environment. Deep in the rainforest the soundtrack of the forest fauna, with butterflies, dragonflies, birds and bats surround you. The Villa house keeper 'Eye' and her son were very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs - including some expert off-road driving on the last leg of the road to the Villa. We were spoilt with Eye's excellent cooking, which was of a high end Thai restaurant standard. Thank you Eye for making our stay so enjoyable. Looking forward to next time!

Fabulous villa.

I fell in love with this villa upon seeing it on Vrbo and it lived up to the hype. I stayed with my family for four nights and wished I had booked it for longer. The view is far better than photo's can capture and the pool was absolute heaven. Eye the housekeeper was most attentive, cooked wonderful meals and was happy to ferry us to wherever we needed to go, making suggestions for places on the island to visit. She was incredibly helpful. There are some bars/ a dispensary in walking distance but not many and if you want to eat out you will need transport. The villa is listed as being very isolated and it it is, you are entirely dependent upon Eye and her taxi service if you wish to explore so you will need to factor this into your budget. Additionally, it is not a villa to book if you have mobility issues as is made clear in the villa's description but I would not hesitate to return and cannot praise it enough. This villa has provided me with some truly happy, lifelong memories and I cannot recommend it enough.

Perfect Villa with an amazing housekeeper

We had 6 people stay at this villa for 4 nights, my dad, and my friends and I (five 20 year old girls). The Villa is even more beautiful than the photos. The infinity pool takes the cake- it is beautiful and we swam in it any time we were at the Villa. There are 4 nice bedrooms- the only critique I have of the entire villa is that the mattresses are too hard- and the beds weren’t overly comfortable, but when considering everything else about our experience, the mattresses were not a big deal. The part of this Villa that made it so spectacular was the help we had from the housekeeper “Eye” and her son. They transferred us anywhere we needed to go- including ferry station. Eye cooked our dinners 3 different times and each time it was fabulous. We also arranged for massages for 3 of the days at the villa that were amazing. Eye is the sweetest human in the world and made our stay amazing. It is worth mentioning that there is a very bumpy road to the villa and lots of stairs to climb leading to it, so be prepared for a bumpy ride in Eye’s truck and to be out of breath after climbing the stairs. But again, two things that really aren’t that big of a deal and were all part of the experience. We recommend this villa to anyone and would love to visit again sometime. Thank you to Eye and her family for all of their assistance during our stay ❤️

Stunning and Remote . Perfect peace.

Absolutely gorgeous villa. Beautifully designed with views that come straight out of most people’s idea of ‘idyllic’ . However, you need to understand that to get this kind of view on a small and busy island - it is by necessity REMOTE .. not ‘a bit away from town’ REMOTE with an incredibly difficult road that requires an experienced 4WD driver to reach the villa. Luckily, Andi is on hand to facilitate any trips you want to make away from the villa. (Personally I didn’t need to leave but the adult kids enjoyed scootering around the island and an organised snorkel/kayak tour to the marine national park. ) . Andi is a fantastic ‘fixer’ of all things. He can suggest things to do and places to go - he can also cook occasional meals and pick up food - but please note , the cook/housekeeper is NOT available as she has retired. So make sure you stock up. The villa itself is very beautiful in its design. It’s three stories with 2 large doubles on the 2nd floor with a generous shared bathroom between. First floor houses the kitchen, Lovely Dining room, and TV room. The pool is here as well and is a good size and quite deep. Ground floor has a large double bedroom on either side of the house, both have en-suites. There is aircon in all bedrooms if required. Kitchen is open plan to the pool and well enough equipped, perhaps this is the only area for a bit of an update as pots/pans have seen better days. (A small thing compared to the overall fabulous-ness of this place.)

Schöner geht kaum

Wir sind mit sehr hohen Erwartungen angereist und sie wurden auch voll erfüllt. Vom ersten Moment des Betretens der Villa an war es ein kontinuierliches WOW - viel wurde hier schon geschrieben - wir waren alle vom ersten Moment in Eye verliebt, sie tat wirklich alles in ihrer Macht stehende um uns allen den Urlaub noch schöner und angenehmer zu machen - ein ganz ganz großes Dankeschön. In Bezug auf einige der anderen Kommentare hier ist zu erwähnen, dass Than Sadet mittlerweile an das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist, d.h. sofern nicht die Stromversorgung auf der ganzen Insel zusammenbricht, was bei unserem Aufenthalt wetterbedingt zwei Mal für einen halben Tag geschehen ist, ist das Stromnetz den ganzen Tag über verfügbar und auch das Internet funktioniert einwandfrei - auch für gleichzeitiges Streamen auf mehreren Geräten - inklusive Smart TV, welchen unsere Kinder bei Schlechtwetter genossen haben. Auch die Küchenausstattung (bis auf die nicht vorhandene Kaffeemaschine) war toll, und erlaubte uns trotz der abgelegenen Lage (Eye fragte jeden Tag ob sie uns Produkte besorgen soll, welche auch zu den Realkosten plus einem kleinen Zuschlag für das Bringen, abgerechnet wurden), dass wir uns auch selbst einige Mahlzeiten zubereiten konnten. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt, wo etwas nachgebessert werden könnte, betrifft die Transparenz der Zusatzkosten. Es war uns nicht immer ganz einsichtig welche Leistungen, z.B. von Eye jetzt extra zu bezahlen sind. Wir bestellten im Vorfeld z.B. eine Kühlschrankfüllung und dachten, dass mit den immer gleich abzurechnenden Kosten für die Einkäufe dann auch alle bestellten Waren bereits bezahlt worden sein, um dann bei der Zwischenrechnung zu sehen, dass diese noch einmal extra zu verhältnismäßig hohen Preisen abgerechnet wurden. Beim Kaffee ist uns Eye dann entgegengekommen - 160 Baht für ein Päckchen Kaffee, welches wir dann selbst mit der French Press zubereiteten, war uns dann (v.a. da wir Kaffee im Vorfeld bestellt hatten) dann doch zu teuer. Auch fanden wir die Massage für 500 Baht die Stunde (immer mit Blick auf die Verhältnismäßigkeit von Preisen und im Vergleich was diese Leistungen anderswo in Thailand kosten) etwas zu teuer. Hier könnte mit etwas mehr Aufklärung im Vorfeld unnötiger Ärger vermieden werden. Trotz dieser kleinen Kritik können wir die White Azure Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werden vermutlich auch einmal wieder kommen.

Traumhafte Villa abseits der Touristenpfade - toller Ausblick - super thailändisches Essen im Haus

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist im White Azure genau richtig. Ein traumhaftes Haus direkt mit Meerzugang, einem schönen Garten und einer perfekten Betreuung durch die Haushälterin Eye und ihrem Sohn Yogurt. Die Zufahrtsstraße zum Haus ist abenteuerlich und nur mit einem 4WD zu bewältigen, uns machte die Fahrt Spaß. Eye kocht wirklich gute thailändische Speisen, hier erspart man sich den Weg zum Restaurant sehr gerne. Eye hat auch Getränke und Snacks im Haus für die Gäste bereitgestellt. Jemand hat in einer Bewertung von einem abgewohnten Hauszustand geschrieben, wir haben das komplett anders empfunden - eine sehr gepflegte Anlage, ein Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, ein Traumpool zum Relaxen und 4 große Schlafzimmer mit Air Condition und einem tollen Ausblick. Wir waren zu viert im Haus und hatten genug Platz. Das Haus bietet 8 Betten, da kann es dann rund um den Pool ein wenig enger werden, allerdings gibt es auch im Obergeschoß 4 weitere Liegen. Wir können das Haus zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Top!

Best Koh Phangan experience!

Beautiful remote place, great for family and friends vacation. The place you don’t really wanna leave, just enjoy the view, the sea, the pool, the architecture it self. Eye, the local hostess was very helpful and always there for us. All of us, family of four with kids and our friends LOVED it!

Amazing Location and Unbeatable Views

I stayed in this amazing home for 6 nights with friends. We were 8 adults and one older child. The home consists of 4 bedrooms all with AC. There are two bedrooms on top floor, one having it's own large balcony. The two upper bedrooms have a shared bathroom. The two lower bedrooms each have their own private entrance and ensuite bathroom. The upper bedrooms are very bright and have incredible views of the sea! The lower bedrooms were clean and basic but located on ground level and quite dark with limited views. The main floor has a very large dining table and a small kitchen bar with 4 stools. There are also 2 deck chairs and 2 hammocks available for seating around the pool. We brought down an extra lounge chair and had ample seating. The TV room has a large screen TV with all channels and loads of DVDs to choose from (although we never turned it on). The kitchen was stocked with all basic necessities. We had two coffee presses, pots, dishes, microwave, stove and cleaning supplies. We took advantage of having a masseuse come almost everyday for head massage (300Baht and hour) or oil massage (550Baht an hour). This was well worth it! The house is staffed by and incredible woman who not only took care of ANYTHING we needed but also cooked delicious meals for us each night. We sat with her every few days and planned out the menu so that she could get fresh ingredients. She was the true gem of our visit! She also came and cleaned every day as well as bringing any supplies that we ran out of (water, beer, ice, clean towels...) Unfortunately, it rained every day that we were there so we were not really able to enjoy the outdoor aspects of the home. But we did get a chance to walk down to the rocks before the rain and Dominic has built a beautiful little gazebo with two hammocks for relaxing. The pool is perfect and deep enough to get exercise! We also had a couple excursions to town for shopping and sightseeing. Overall, the home was just what we expected from the pictures. It's well maintained, furnished with all functional, basic furnishings and situated on the side of a tall hill with spectacular views. * There are many steep steps to get to the house and the water. * You will not get any public transportation from the house to town. * we had good signals using 4G on phones. Buy SIM at airport. Thanks for a great stay and helping out with a "forgotten" bag at the end! Dominic went above and beyond!

Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est: maison très isolée, pas de téléphone ni de wifi, mobilier chip

Nous avons loué la maison 9 jours en février 2017. Les points positifs : la maison à une vue magnifique et elle est spacieuse. Les points négatifs : la maison est très isolée ; une route très étroite, escarpée, pleine de trous et de rochers mène à la route goudronnée. On a donc été obligé de louer un 4x4 et de faire preuve de dextérité pour nous déplacer, pour ne pas dépendre du service taxi du proprio qui est payant bien entendu. Le mobilier de la maison est plutôt chip pour le prix exorbitant de la maison par rapport aux autres locations de l’île. Il y a très peu d’équipements dans la cuisine et pas de BBQ donc on ne peut pas cuisiner grand-chose. On a dû plusieurs fois utiliser le service traiteur proposé dans la maison, payant et pas toujours bon marché. Il y a 4 sdb mais quasiment pas d’eau dans l’unique sdb de l’étage et très peu dans les autres sdb. Il n’y a pas de téléphone dans la maison et nous n’avions pas de wifi non plus alors qu’on nous l’avait annoncé. Nous étions donc injoignables et n’avions aucun accès internet à moins de 15 mn de voiture. Je ne la conseillerai pas.

Thank you for your revealing but dishonest review! Unfortuntely you have seen fit to follow through on your threat of negative review unless payment was made to you which I declined and is on record. Your allegations of no wifi, water, kitchen utensils, BBQ, cheap or chipped furniture are complete fabrication.Taxi service from the public beach 350M away is available as well as from the villa by the housekeeper. Our rental prices for a 4 bedroom fully serviced pool villa are in line with other 4 bedroom villas on the island.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen für 3 Wochen in der Villa. Die hier geschriebenen Bewertungen sind für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Für So viel Geld pro Nacht haben wir in der Tat etwas anderes erwartet, denn die Beschreibung - 4-Zimmer-Villa mit Pool direkt am Strand - ist absolut nicht zutreffend. Das Haus ist abgewohnt, normalerweise sollte man für so viel Geld und für den wohlverdienten Urlaub auch das erwarten können und auch bekommen, was man bezahlt. Die Möblierung und die Ausstattung ist lt. Beschreibung für 8 Personen ausgelegt, d.h. 4 Schlafzimmer, 4 Bäder, Küche, Aufhenthaltsraum, Wohnzimmer, etc. Wir hatten nur 2 Stühle am Pool, 4 Liegen im gesamten Haus, 4 Barhocker, einen kleinen Rattan Zweisitzer und 2 Sessel im Wohnzimmer. Nicht machbar für 8 Personen, mit 4 Personen geht es gerade so. Die Möbel sind teilweise defekt, die Küche ist mit einem Topf, einer Pfanne, einem Toaster ausgestattet. Backofen funktioniert nicht. Kaffeemaschine - Fehlanzeige. Den Kaffeekocher den wir nutzen wollten, war von einer Armeisenarmee besetzt. Das Geschirr wurde nicht richtig sauber gemacht (nur kaltes Wasser), so dass sich noch die Essenreste vom Vortag daran befanden. Die Betten ausgestattet mit einem Holzbrett (Lattenrost wäre schon schön gewesen), obendrauf eine Matratze. Bettdecken - Fehlanzeige. Für So viel Geld pro Nacht erwarte ich eine vernünftige, dem Preis angemessene Grundausstattung. Das Bad in der oberen Etage war fast nicht nutzbar, da die Dusche nicht funktioniert. Lag angeblich am nicht ausreichendem Strom für den Kompressor. Warmwasser kam nur, wenn man den Druck soweit runtergeregelt hat, das fast kein Wasser mehr kam. Auf der Ebene mit Wohnzimmer und Küche ging die Dusche einigermassen aber auch nur auf mehrere Nachfragen und nachdem ein neuer Durchlauferhitzer eingebaut wurde. WIFI - Fehlanzeige. Funktioniert eher sporadisch. Aber auf ganz Koh Phangan in jedem Restaurant, Café oder Bar war WIFI vorhanden nur eben nicht bei uns im Haus. Der eigene private Felsstrand mit kleinen Sandstrand Bereich war eine Vollkatastrophe. Das Haus hat sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, die in einem separaten Haus leben und bereiten je nach Wunsch entweder Frühstück oder Abendessen. Jedoch wurden auch hier nur auf Nachfrage die Handtücher gewechselt. Eine tägliche Reinigung von Schwimmbecken und Garten wurde nicht vorgenommen. Wir können und werden dieses Haus nicht weiterempfehlen. Der Preis ist absolut unangemessen.

Hello and thank you for your review. However I feel I must now reply. What you neglected to mention in your review was that you arrived in the middle of the worst monsoon the south Thailand has experienced for 50 years with widespread flooding, power outages, water and landlines down and serious damage to the infrastructure of the island.This event was covered on local and international news networks at the time and the island was officially declared a disaster zone, so you knew what you were coming to. Conditions were so bad your plane was unable to land and was in fact sent back to Bangkok. This should have given you some indication. The next day you caught another plane to Samui which successfully landed, you then had a very rough sea crossing over to Koh Phangan where you were met at the port by our staff and present conditions were further explained to you. At that time we were unable to even get you to the villa because of landslides across the island. WE DID OFFER YOU CANCELLATION but your were determined to stay since you had booked the villa for 3 weeks and believed conditions would improve which they did but just not in the timescale you expected! For the first 4 nights we had to put you up in a 5 star hotel in town at our expense, before the landslide on the approach road into Than Sadet could be cleared enough to let some vehicles through.Yes the conditions at the villa at the time were not as usual but we did try to accommodate you the best that we could being in the middle of a disaster zone. La casa ed il personale sono fantastici, immersi nel verde e con tutte le comodità possibili, la domestica sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa come cucinare, organizzarci escursioni o darci consigli, l'unico neo è che ancora non sono riuscita a riavere indietro la cauzione versata..

Home Away always refund deposits to the credit card used for making the booking and since there was no damage or issues with the rental then this should still be the case. Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem Haus. Der Blick auf das Meer ist unbeschreiblich. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll. Ein Highlight ist die Kochkunst von Eye, der Haushälterin. Einfach super was sie zaubert. Man muss sich weder ums putzen noch ums kochen kümmern. Dementsprechend ist jedoch die Küche ausgestattet. Also Kochgeschirr quasi nicht vorhanden.

Erholung pur

Ich war für 10 Tage in der Villa mit 4 weiteren Personen. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Die Familie war immer sehr freundlich und erfüllt uns jeden Wunsch. Obi Taxifahrt, Einkaufen, Ausflüge, Essen.. Auch den 7-jährigen Sohn haben wir ins Herz geschlossen :) Die Aussicht und der Pool der Villa sind fansastisch. Zum Strand sind es ca. 15min zu Fuss. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen und man kann die Ruhe geniessen. Die Abholung bei der Ankunft am Flughafen sowie der Transfer mit dem Speedboard hat alles super geklappt. Zu empfehlen ist auch die Bar, welche oberhalb der Villa liegt und in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar ist. Ich würde die Unterkunft sofort weiterempfehlen.

Paradise

This villa was recommended to me by a friend who visited last year. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. It is more beautiful. It has to be one of the best places in the whole of Thailand. You have a true feeling of 'getting away from it all' as it seems like it's the only place for miles and miles. But a ten minute walk through the jungle and you are at Than Sadet beach with it's bars and restaurants. The manager and the staff were excellent - everything was superb.

Unique secluded paradise

My wife and I stayed for a week at White Azure in march 2009.The view is quite literally the most amazing I have ever experienced.We stayed in the top bedroom where the windows are so huge you can lie in bed and see the full moon reflected on the sea right in front of you.The same goes when in the infinity swimming pool & jaccuzi.The location is secluded but also handy for a beautiful waterfall & the beach with some amazing restaurants.To sum up,the week we spent here was not just a holiday,it was a unique experience which we will always remember.

fantastic luxury villa

If you are looking for a fantastic luxury villa with all modern facilities yet dream of getting away from it all White Azure certainly delivers. With breathtaking panoramic views and infinity pool the setting is magnificent and the house a joy to stay in. Although a very social house with open plan living it still provides everyone with the opportunity to find there own space and get away to relax in private. We all really enjoyed our time there and reveled in the snorkeling and jungle walks as well as the fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere. Waking up to such views really recharged all our batteries and the teenage kids loved the wild surroundings and nearby restaurant culture. All in all I cannot recommend White Azure enough and can't wait till next year when hopefully we will come out again with more friends to enjoy it all over again! Thank you to everyone who together made our stay so enjoyable

Affordable luxury

This villa was out of this world. I saw it from the sea when on a day trip to Thansadet waterfall and saw that it was for rent and took it for a few days. The views are amazing from everywhere. The bedrooms are spacious and a always cool and breezy. The infinity pool was deep enough to always be cool and refreshing. The owner is really friendly and helpful when we needed advice or day trips organising. The small walk to the beach is easy yet the villa still feels private and secluded. One of the most comfortable places i've stayed. A real gem and will definitely be coming back. Great value for $$$. So tranquil. Loved it!

This property is for people who like privacy and to get away from it all yet still remain relatively close to what is going on. Free WIFI is available.The villa is located in the Than Sadet area on the edge of the National Park made famous for its sacred waterfalls and visits by Thailand Kings. It is situated on the side of a hill on land running down to the sea and rocky coastline. The sandy public beach is a 350M walk from the villa along the rocks at the bottom of the garden or along the road. The villa is accessible by a fairly steep mountain road and 4 wheel drive vehicle is necessary.

The surrounding views and nature. The proximity to the nearby Than Sadet waterfall which is suitable for bathing. Than Sadet and Thong Reng beach which are both within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Large and mature garden with private Sala, hammocks, outside shower which is located on the ocean rocks below the villa.
