The Pad is a Newly renovated home (2024) with modern amenities and comfortable bedrooms. This home has barely been lived in and is centrally located to Downtown Indy, fountain square, and fletcher place.

Guests who book a stay at The Pad should expect a cozy place to hang their head while they are in town. Each room is equipped with new mattresses and hotel grade linens. The home also has a modern kitchen, two smart TV’s, and a big screen projector!

There is a full fenced in yard for anyone who had a dog that they wish to bring. Additionally, there is a one car detached garage that can be accessed from the alley behind the home.

All are welcome!

Our stay

Newly refurbished home. Clean & comfortable. Located 10 to 20 min from everywhere we wanted to go. Property has a garage which we were happy about. Needs a little yard work. Other than that, all was good.

Great stay

My family stayed 2 nights at the property. Everything was as described in the listing - newly renovated, stocked kitchen, appliances, etc. I definitely recommend stopping by Claus Meat Market around the corner for some really good authentic German sausages and meats. The property is located in an older part of town but had no issues and would stay again when we visit Indianapolis.

Cozy stay in Downtown Indy

Communication with host was great. Large, roomy space. Proximity to Downtown Indy was great - only downfall is that this stay is not safely walkable (no fault to the host). Best to have a car or Uber around!

The property was almost exactly as depicted. The sofa is now a larger L-shaped that was very comfortable - I don't think it's a sofa-bed any longer but there is actually still room for 2 people to sleep if needed (which we didn't). The front door handle was broken but Wyatt reached out beforehand with alternate instructions to access the house which worked perfectly. Use of the garage was wonderful.The surrounding neighbourhood has boarded-up houses which was initially a little unnerving, however we had absolutely no issues with the location of the house after than initial concern. The house itself looks to have been beautifully upgraded. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, cutlery and cookware and even coffee and some spices. The washer-dryer worked perfectly and was a great benefit for our stay. Wi-fi worked as expected.The A/C was fantastic for the Indy summer. Water pressure was excellent. A quick warning - the water gets HOT so be aware to turn it down. We thought that we could walk to Lucas Oil Stadium based on the drive time (listed as 5 min, but was a bit longer with traffic), but because of the location of the freeways, it would have been over a 50 min estimated walk. We didn't ever need to reach out to Wyatt during our stay but given the pre-travel response rate, I have confidence that the response would have been prompt.We had a great stay and would recommend this property.

Could be 5 stars

I want to give this place 5 stars however a few things need changed. The property owner had great communication. He notified us of a broken shower rod and a broken toilet seat and even refunded some money. We arrived 45 minutes before check in time and he worked with us. Excellent communication!!! When we arrived the broken toilet seat was on the counter in the kitchen which was absolutely disgusting. We removed it and disinfected the area. Shame on the cleaning crew. There were also parts of the house that clearly are not cleaned. The kitchen floor was sticky and gross. The bar stools had not been wiped down either. However most everything else was clean. The location is great and the house is cute. If the cleaning crew stepped it up it would easily be 5 stars.
