SoKno Retreat B-5 min to DT Knox

This is a unit that is located in South Knoxville about 5 minutes from downtown Knoxville and about 10-15 minutes to the McGhee Tyson Airport. It is a basement apartment that has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a full kitchen to cook in during your stay. It is a duplex so this is more perfect for a quiet family than someone who anticipates making lots of noise during their stay. There is a long driveway that can accommodate 4-5 cars. There is also a covered carport but it is not enclosed
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are between 10pm - 8am EVERYDAY. If there are noise complaints or any violation of this rule, it may result in cancellation of booking and removal from property without refund and a penalty of $200 for the violation.

STRICT NO-PARTY POLICY
No parties or events/gatherings. If there is a party of any kind the police will be called and everyone will be removed from the property no refunds. No Unauthorized Guests are allowed at the unit, $100 fine per guest if discovered.

No Smoking
Smoking is prohibited without exception on this property. If any signs of smoking are found in the house, a fine of $100 will be imposed, no exceptions.

Pets
Pets ARE allowed depending on size or if they are service animals, max of 2 pets. We have pet fee. If you are bringing a pet(s), please let us know beforehand, otherwise there will be a fine of $100/pet if discovered, no exceptions.

The layout of the unit was great! We had plenty of room for our family and it was a comfortable place to stay. We really like the interior decoration. However, it was dirty; gross dirty.

Horrible, only reason one star is that was the lowest. Upon arrival there was a broken fan or some type of metal trash in the drive way, the entrance door blonds were broken. Upon entering we noticed the chairs were heavily soiled, the master bed tv screen was broken. The extra linens were laying on the floor. It was definitely not up to standards. It was disgusting and we left and asked for a refund. The host asked for photos which I provided and she has now ghosted me. We ended up staying at another location and determined it was the same host and similar issues. they have the properties listed on VRBO and ARBNB.

The plumbing was horrible

This was the worse experience I ever had I never been in a house like this before I am very disappointed the toilet and tub was bag up and over flowing and water everywhere on the floor

Not as expected

House was not very clean. Did not have a pull out couch as described, but had blow up mattresses that were dirty and stacked on the floor. Extra blankets were also stacked on the floor. It was a home converted in to separate living spaces. The person staying in the other part of the home and cooked bacon. I love bacon, but it may have been overwhelming for others. The home was dusty and bathroom doors did not shut properly. The covered car port had leaves everywhere that were dragged inside as you opened the door.

Weekend get away

The property was as stated in the listing. The unit was clean and had all the essentials. We did notice on check in that the WiFi didn’t work. We exchanged multiple emails with customer service and were told repeatedly “ we are checking with our team.” The only advice that was given regarding the WIFI was to restart the router. We tried as advised and WIFI still did not work. If you need wifi for your stay, don’t count on this unit. We also found ants in the main bathroom. Customer service again said they “ would check with their team.” We received no update or action on the antsMultiple electrical outlets in the bedroom did not work as well. Don’t expect to plug in your devices bedside. We had to use the outlets in the bathroomThis unit is sufficient if you just need a place to sleep. It was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. I’m you need any above basics, skip this listing
