This was perfect for our needs. Not only was it a beautiful location it also has a quiet beach within walking distance. The owners have made this house be so comfortable it is a home away from home. I can not say enough about this house and I would definitely go back!

Wonderful!!

Coach House could not have been lovelier! A perfect setting for 4 of us to stay for a friend’s wedding weekend at Cambridge Beach. Coach House’s private beach, a short walk down the lane, was as peaceful and picturesque as it could be. Hope to come again!

Beautiful and peaceful!

The house was just what we needed! Secluded and beautiful. Enjoyed croquet, the chickens, and sunsets on the beach. We were able to walk to the market and every where we needed. House was spotless. Enjoyed the games provided. Wonderful family time!!

Coach House '25

Coach House is a beautiful house, gorgeous property, and well equipped. Great for one couple and friends/children. The one Primary suite was as stated. The twin bedroom w/ twin beds (oddly high mattresses but comfortable) it was very small - we had to keep our luggage in the front room. Host/manager was quick responding to any questions we had.We loved our stay but sad to not have even the tiniest bit of a view of water, from any window. We misinterpreted the pictures and did not read every review. The grocery store "Marketplace" is very close as well as awesome pizza, the best gluten free pizzas ever. While Bermuda is a safe and friendly island the neighborhood had one questionable group hanging out on the corner every night which made us tourists a tad uncomfortable and glad we didn't have kids with us.Island suggestions: Rent Twizy's/Yoyo to truly enjoy the whole spectacular island.

Stayed for wedding weekend

We booked this house when we had a wedding to attend. 4 adults and 2 infants and the accommodations worked great! Clean house and had anything you’d need outside of groceries. Gave 4 stars for location because we wish sidewalks were more present in the area for safer walking with children but it all worked out nonetheless. Lots of helpful resources within walking distance. Would love to stay again!

A hidden oasis

Everything about this cottage was lovely; from the decor, the size, the location, the well stocked kitchen and the grounds. We had a wonderful relaxing time. Highly recommend.

We’ve visited Bermuda many times but this was the perfect spot: private, charming, very clean and very well equipped with everything one could need. Couldn’t have been happier at Coach House.

Another wonderful stay in Somerset Village!

The Coach House is a great, private, fully-furnished and conveniently-located property! The yard is awesome, with outstanding exposure to the sun. Plenty of room for a family: more than enough for a couple. The private beach is just across thevroad (less than 3 min walk from the door to the water).

Somerset Village Cottage

The location was great and the grounds were private and serene. We appreciated the back porch with the table and enjoyed having morning coffee at the table and watching the chickens roam through the yard. We had several issues with cleanliness (or lack of) and we had to take care of the issues ourselves. We had several problems in the kitchen with items not being properly cleaned. We took care of these issues but was surprised that so much had not been taken care of properly. Perhaps this is an unusual occurrence at this house but we were not very happy about having to clean when we arrived. We chose to go to the house and check out what supplies were needed before going to the store. I'm glad we did because we had to purchase several things that normally we have been provided with at other rental properties - basic items like hand soap, paper towels, dish soap, coffee, etc. Be aware that you may have to buy your own basic necessities. We do appreciate the owners for giving us a heads up on this though. The location was great. It was an easy walk to the market, restaurants, & ice cream shop. We used public transportation and the bus stop was close by. The post office nearby also sold bus tokens which was convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would definitely check out a different property next time we are in Bermuda.

Charming!

My family and I LOVED staying at this sweet cottage! Spacious and comfortable with so many conveniences and amenities! Hosts were beyond accommodating and provided information and tips about the area that greatly helped in our planning! I appreciated their insights as we navigated around the island ourselves. Felt like we were in paradise. Absolutely would stay here again and have already recommended to friends and family! Very thankful for our time here!

Charming Cottage

For a small family who enjoys quiet and a bucolic spot, this cottage is perfect. This classically styled Bermuda cottage sits back from a small lane in the middle of a beautiful garden. Complete with outdoor shower, croquet lawn, 2 full baths, a well rquipped kitchen with comfy living room and sitting room, this is the perfect spot to chill. It’s private beach sits a few paces down the lane on the quiet side is Cambridge.

Rest and Recovery in Somerset

wonderful stay at the Coach House after the Newport-Bermuda Race. Great spot to recover. The house and property were larger than I thought they would be. Kids enjoyed croquet. We ate a couple of dinners the hotel nearby. Cambridge Beaches. It was a bit far from Hamilton and the RBYC where all the race parties weee. Would recommend twizy rental for sure. Ferry and Bus was good for us but a bit limiting.

Wonderful stay in Bermuda

Beautiful and spacious home with a gorgeous yard in paradise! All in all, we loved it! We would absolutely return. Definitely bring swim shoes (there is a lot of broken glass on the beach in Somerset and rocks elsewhere). Get the bus pass but beware of the cruise ship passengers filling the buses before they get to you. Go early (and would not advise renting a scooter as a local who was formerly a paramedic told us they literally pick up dead tourists daily from motorbike accidents). It’s a lovely home and beautiful people in Bermuda!

Had a wonderful stay - pictures don’t do the property justice! The interior was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful. The house is walkable to a nice large public beach and the houses private beach was small but beautiful to walk to in the mornings and evenings

Serenity!

What a perfect cottage! Tucked away on a quiet lane, surrounded by a lovely garden and yet just steps from the village, we loved it all. The house was perfect for us as a base of operations for adventuring about in Bermuda. We submit that no one has enjoyed it more than its most recent inhabitants - thank you!
