Whether you're looking for a family vacation or creative retreat, experience a rejuvenating getaway in our 5-bedroom, 3 bathroom home on Lake Anna. This two story 2,650 sq ft house is on 1.5 acres and offers water access shared with the other residents in our small community. Bring your boat or water toys to enjoy on the lake!
THE SPACE:
This beautiful venue is perfect for your special occasions, family getaways, or small group trips. Come and enjoy the serene and peaceful backdrop, while listening to the birds of all sizes or spotting adorable woodland creatures like deer and bunnies prancing about. If you listen carefully, a chorus of mooing cows in the distance completes the symphony.
THE SPACE & SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
The layout makes it desirable for large families, multi-families or small groups which provides maximum comfort and privacy under one roof. On the ground level, there is easy step-in entry into the home, and include two bedrooms (one queen-size bed and one king-size bed), a full bathroom with an expansive shower, kitchenette, and living area. On the top level, there are three bedrooms (two with queen-size beds and one with day-bed and trundle-bed underneath), the main kitchen, main living area, sunroom, and two full bathrooms.
KITCHEN & DINING:
The large, fully stocked kitchen has ample countertop space and everything you need to cook meals: - Dinnerware and Flatware - Pots, pans, small appliances, spices, and cooking oils - Aluminum Foil, cling film, and Ziplocks - Garbage bags, cleaning supplies, and paper towels There is also a kitchenette area (outfitted with a fridge, microwave, and toaster oven). When it's time to eat, there is a 6-person dining table and extra stools to pull up to the kitchen counter.
LIVING ROOM:
The natural light-filled living room has vaulted ceilings and wall of large windows to enjoy the lake views outside. There is plenty of comfy seating to lounge or play games. Amenities in the living room are: - 65-inch Roku Smart TV - Games for all ages
BATHROOMS & LAUNDRY:
We supply a generous amount of toilet paper that is safe for septic systems, so please be mindful of only flushing approved items and not wipes, tampons, pads, or makeup removing towelettes, even if they say "flushable". The included amenities are: - Toilet Paper - Hand Soap - Linens: Hand Towels, Bath Towels, and Wash Cloths The Laundry Room is on the ground level and has large capacity machines that are available for guest use. The included amenities are: - Laundry Detergent - Cleaning Supplies - First Aid Kit - Stick Vacuum
OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES:
The top floor opens up to an expansive deck, where you can catch a glimpse of the lake and the magnificent pink, purple, and orange sunsets. Lounge chairs and outdoor dining make it a versatile space for relaxation or a leisurely meal. A cozy sunroom overlooking the large tree-lined yard provides a perfect nook to curl up with a book or watch a summer thunderstorm. The ground floor opens directly to comfy furniture on the front patio, shaded by the overhang of the upper deck. The detached garage offers lots of open space for exercising, socialization and fun! While the expansive yard offers a great space for kids to play tag or use their imagination in the private playground, while mom or dad gets dinner prepared.
PETS:
$50.00 Fee. You must select the number of pets when identifying the number of guests as part of your reservation. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome in our home. With a fully fenced in yard, there is plenty of space to play catch. Please ensure you do a final sweep of the yard to pick up any pet mess. Also, even though our team thoroughly cleans between stays, consider our pet-friendly policy if you are highly allergic to dogs.
WIFI:
STARLINK Internet is available for those looking to work remotely, while enjoying the peace and tranquility with just the right amount of seclusion, removed from the noise and bustle of major highway or city center, while still having the charm and company of a handful of neighboring lakeside homes.
PARKING:
An expansive circular driveway allows 6-8 cars to comfortably park in front of the house. The driveway offers accessible space for a limo or larger transportation vehicles to pick-up and drop-off for winery, brewery, and other local tours. Our home is truly a magical location for kids and adults alike to enjoy the whimsy and charm of nature.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Property is located within an HOA, where there are full time residents. Quiet hours per the HOA guideline is 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Each home has their quirks and our vacation home is no different. Here's a couple quirky things to note and should be considered:
The house is on Well Water. Unlike being hooked up to town or city water, our water gets pumped into a water tank in the house. Be wise with your water usage, if you use too much water at once you will notice a drop in pressure and you will need to wait for the well-pump to replenish the supply.
The house has a Septic System. Please respect that and do not flush any tampons or wipes (even if they say flushable). No one wants to experience a "back-up" on a much deserved vacation or staycation.
There are three outdoor security cameras on the property.
1) Floodlight on garage pointed at driveway
2) On Deck Post that is pointed at the ground-level front door
3) Above the back door, pointed at the stairs
