Un paseo fácil en bicicleta o una caminata a las numerosas playas y estanques de Wellfleet, nuestra casa construida en 2014, tiene un plano de planta abierto, una gran sala enorme con techo alto, chimenea de gas y ventilador de techo, cocina abierta con todas las comodidades, barra de desayuno, asientos en el área de comedor 8, proyectado en el porche, terraza con parrilla de gas Weber, dos dormitorios principales con camas queen y un tercer dormitorio extra grande con dos camas individuales y nido doble (espacio para una cuna); Habitación grande tipo loft con futón doble y TV grande: 2. 5 baños y ducha exterior. La casa tiene aire acondicionado y hermosos jardines, con espacio para jugar en el amplio patio lateral. Ideal para grupos familiares o dos familias con niños para compartir. Hay dos kayaks, muchas sillas de playa, dos bicicletas y cosas para bebés (cuna, trona y silla de auto). Una milla al océano, a la bahía y al pueblo. Buenos perros bienvenidos

A great spot in Wellfleet

We just enjoyed a lovely two week stay. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer or more responsive when we had questions. The house was comfortable, quiet, well equipped and cozy!

Lovely Stay at a Lovely Home

We really enjoyed our two-week stay at this home in a lovely spot in Wellfleet. We have been vacationing in Wellfleet for the past 25 years and have stayed at many vacation homes. This one is among the best!! Great location and home design, near to towns and beaches yet quietly tucked away in a neighborhood. The home has space to gather together and also to seek solitude when needed. The outside garden was in bloom and made for many relaxing morning coffee hours. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!!

Wonderful Getaway

Wonderful home to rent!

We had a wonderful time at Rose Hill. The house comfortably fit our family and golden retriever. The house is well provisioned and we loved the screened in porch at the rear. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood which allowed for privacy. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for the quintessential Wellfleet experience.

A wonderful place

Well-appointed, bright, spacious, private, tastefully-decorated home located with easy access to all the wonderful local things - beaches, ponds, PTown, farmers markets, hiking, walking, birding, cafes, bookshop, etc. Our Chihuahua gets excited every year for this vacation, making a beeline to his favorite sunbeam spot in the living room.

Truly Perfect Summer Stay

We were so excited to rent Rose Hill Cottage again and delighted to see the new cheerful perennial gardens and the beautifully redone bathrooms. With improvements like these, we know this is a well-loved home. The house is so comfortable and easy, and yet also is art-filled and beautiful. It has every amenity you need and is in a perfect location near Wellfleet town center and pointing toward Truro and Provincetown. Peter and Leslie are very responsive and lovely people. We can't think of a better place to stay in Wellfleet!

Great vacation home

This clean and spacious home has everything you need, a perfect homebase, to do all the Cape things. Going to the beach, swimming, kayaking, riding bikes, cooking in, grilling, chilling, watching movies, etc. It is close to Wellfleet center and just a short drive to Town. The owners are great - friendly and responsive.

Fantastic Wellfleet Gem

Rose Hill Cottage exceeded all expectations. The owners were extremely hospitable and responsive. The property, grounds, and privacy were better than pictured. House is spacious with wonderful natural light, and very well equipped. Good location short driving distance to everything in Wellfleet. It was the perfect place to reconnect with family & friends after a 2 year hiatus. We definitely want to return!

Lovely home and town

Everyone enjoyed this well equipped home with a private backyard, flower landscaping, deck, and screened in porch. We had fun exploring Wellfleet and the swimming ponds, and long dog walks on the close by beaches. The owner Peter was very responsive to any issues we had and took care of things quickly (for example, a hornets nest we found under the deck was removed within a couple hours of discovering it)! Great place to spend some vacation days or weeks. Hope to return!

Beautiful property met all our needs

My husband and I stayed for 5 days for my daughter's wedding with my daughter and her boyfried, my son and his girlfriend and two dogs. The bridal party go dressed and made up for the wedding day in the house. The house was spacious and comfortable with plenty of areas for activities. When we had a problem with internet access, we got a prompt response. We would definitely stay here again. It was wonderful.

Lovely home with room to spread out

This was a wonderful home for our extended family to gather. We especially appreciated the very well equipped kitchen with all the gadgets you could wish for including a milk frother/warmer, oyster shucker and lobster crackers! This allowed us to eat home cooked meals, which was necessary given the COVID environment. We also enjoyed access to the kayaks (a pleasant surprise) and appreciated the hosts' responsiveness. The only complaint might be that the beds were unamde when we arrived and we had to gather sheets from the dryer and linen closet to make them. Otherwise, we had a terrific experience in this home,

Beautiful property on dead end street

We had a lovely stay. The gardens surrounding this house are beautiful. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was responsive when we had questions and the beach chairs and boogy boards provided were perfect for our days on the beach. The bike path is a short drive away as is Wellfleet Center. The dead end street was a good place for kids to play. Great house!

Perfection

Our vacation began the day that hurricane Henri was to hit our home town. Lucky for us (and all!) it fizzled out and we headed to Wellfleet. Little to no rain, no traffic, ordered takeout from the car (Bookstore & Restaurant) and settled in at 9pm. Peter & Leslie’s home is beautiful, comfortable and very well appointed. Lovely landscaping and outside space. I particularly liked the photos and art work. We all needed a vacation, and it was the perfect spot for us. Our kids went kayaking and enjoyed that. Close to all beaches, Commercial St and great restaurants. Many thanks!

Great location with everything you need

We had a great stay at Peter and Leslie’s place. It was kid-friendly and clean. They provided towels, linens, beach gear, and kayaks (!!) for us to use. Peter and Leslie were responsive and the check-in/check-out process was easy. Would rent again!

Hi, We are Peter and Leslie .We live in Washington DC but have always dreamed of having a family home on Cape Cod where everyone can gather from 1 to 101. We love exploring the outer Cape, swimming in the secret ponds, biking the paths in Provincetown and enjoying all that Wellfleet has to offer. We have two dogs who love walking on the beach and playing in the ocean. And yes, our house is dog friendly.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Peter grew up in Connecticut so he is a New Englander. Leslie was born in Massachusetts but left when she was a child. Discovering the Cape felt like coming home. We knew if we ever bought a vacation home, it would be in Wellfleet. We are learning to be Welfleetians and love its history and small town feel. We found our house in the middle of a snow storm. It was only half built but we both knew it was right.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love the quiet street, and the view from the porch into deep woods of the Herring River Estuary. We see all kinds of wild life in the early evening, once even a coywolf. The great room makes the house special, large enough for everyone to gather and to eat , the porch is where we gather in the early evening and in cooler weather, the gas fireplace warms the whole house. We also like having one master on the ground level. Lets us have lots of guests and still have our private space.
