I let you know now. this was the WORST place i’ve ever stay in in my life. From the jump, there was mice poop and a mouse running all over the house to the point where i put mouse traps in the house and left until it was dead. then to make matters worse the oven didnt even work so i couldn’t bake my food. All the sheets on the beds were dirty. The bathroom is false advertising. there’s only 1 bathroom not 2.

POOR, I should have heeded past reviews.Minimal communication. I had to request door code.House was not ready/cleaned - We cleaned the house on our arrival.Cleaners arrived 2 days after the start of our stay.Ordered my family to vacate property when I was not there- they did not know of our booking. My family had to call the police.House desperately needs repair - old is fine, falling apart is not. Should have taken extra photos - BUT had 5 kids with us - Priority is the children.Oven did not workDishwasher did not workWashing machine did not workNot enough blankets, pillowsI had to get Bookabach/VRBO to assist.Read prior reviews ....

House was 85 degrees inside when we arrived. HVAC was turned off. Found out that AC didn’t work once turned on and home never cooled down. Basement was the coolest place in the house. Upstairs finally cooled down with windows open, but had to listen to traffic on a busy street out front. WiFi didn’t work. TV was there, but no reception without WiFi. Parking in rear driveway off street was good. Very little communication from owner, but he was fast to respond when asked for door code. No check in/check out instructions provided at all. One bathroom in basement, other on second floor were fine. The one on main floor in closet was taped shut with boxes piled on top. Rear yard was overgrown. No pillows or blankets for futons, only saving grace was we are a Scout troop and everyone had sleeping bags and mats to use. Kitchen cabinets had broken handles on doors, didn’t use anything besides fridge. Worked ok for a quick overnight, would not stay again.

Needs maintenance

The property wasn’t too expensive but had maintenance issues. The door on the main floor bathroom had a broken hinge. The light in the main TV room didn’t work. The remote for the TV didn’t have batteries and the bedding and towels for the bathrooms were still in the drier and we didn’t find them until we were leaving. The location was on a busy street but they did have a garage in back to park the cars The main floor bathroom was almost unusable because the toilet was so close to the door you could only sit to use it and even then there was no leg room and you had the door right in your face..

New listing

This home was billed as a new listing. The communication with the property owner wasn't very good. I had to reach out to him to get the door code. There is absolutely no grass in the back yard. It's completely black dirt. The front steps were completely full of leaves. There was garbage all over in the front yard. The kitchen floor had stick down vinyl that was coming up every where. There were barely any silverware and dishes in the kitchen. There weren't any instructions anywhere in the house concerning check in or check out procedures. The half bath (closet) off the living room, didn't even work, since the toilet was taped off and there were boxes stacked on top of the toilet. There were only 4 bath towels in the entire house for a house that is supposed to sleep 16 people. The office was in the basement area which was not as advertised. Overall, I would just take the money spent on this place and apply it to somewhere nicer. This place needs a lot of work.

It’s the little things that matter, and this place did not deliver on the little things.

The place is listed as a good fit for a large group, but that just is not true. While there is enough bed space, there were not enough pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, plates, cups, or silverware for more than four guests. As a result, most of our party left early instead of staying overnight like they had planned. Living room furniture was awful. The most comfortable place to sit in the entire house was a metal patio chair. The bathroom on the main floor was out of order (the bowl was taped shut and tubs were piled on top of it), but no one communicated that to us before our stay. Once the sun started to set, and the main living space got very dark. The main light fixture didn’t work and one lamp did not even have a bulb. Beds were fine, but the pillows were pathetic. No bedding or pillows were provided for ANY of the three futons. There were coffee filters and coffee provided, but no coffee maker to use them. Not a single clock in the house was set to the right time.Any attempt at décor was sloppy and unfinished.The property manager was not good about returning messages. I sent him several leading up to our trip, asking if we could check in early, and he finally responded, but he never answered my question. I had to contact the property manager myself to get the code to check into the house. I also called him to get help with the WiFi, which he was able to provide. We got no information about check-in or check-out procedures.

Was nothing like what was advertised. At check-in There was no bedding on the beds and no towels. We looked around and found bedding and towels in the washer that had been sitting for a few days wet. Second bathroom was in the basement which is more like a dungeon. Very little kitchen supplies. Beds and chairs smelled. No extra bedding or pillows for couches. Advertising for large groups but had nothing to support that. We’re all military and can put up with a lot. We’re booked for 4 nights and left after one. Very disappointed. Asked for refund after contacting the owner on day one with concerns and we’re basically told “to bad”
