The cabin was wonderful, exactly as advertised. Very quiet, peaceful, tastefully appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped; all appliances in great condition and working well. Really impressed by the solid wood furniture; it's craftsmanship you don't get a lot of these days. Plenty of towels and even had very lovely his and hers bathrobes available, as well as being unexpectedly greeted with a lovely welcome package. Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful Stay With Everything You Need

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect little escape—peaceful, thoughtfully set up, and had everything we needed. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into the space, from the small touches to the overall comfort. It was clean, comfortable, and truly relaxing. The hosts were helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, well-equipped getaway spot. We’d absolutely come back!

Secluded and private

This is a fully equipped cozy cabin deep in the woods but still close to the road. The owner took us up to it and was very cordial. It is perfect for a couples getaway in the Parksville/Qualicum area. RIght up the road from the local market and across from the rodeo grounds. We stayed here because it is centrally located for exploring Vancouver Island and a 2 hour drive to Pacific Rim. If you like privacy you can't ask for more.

Great cabin experience

Elsie and Peter were thoughtful, friendly and accommodating hosts. The cabin was clean and cozy with a well-appointed kitchen. The property was quiet and tranquil. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Sunlight through cedars

We often escape for a weekend, and have generally been pleased with our VRBO experiences. This little cabin in the woods had everything we wanted: tasteful decorations, comfortable seats, fluffy towels, sharp chef’s knives, a variety of appliances, large screen TV, and no sounds from anyone else anywhere. The ideal get-away for two.

Weekend escape to our new happy place

Twice a year my wife and I escape to a location so that we can unwind and unplug, this year we tried a new place and it fulfilled all of our wishes. The Owls Nest is an oasis's among the trees , peaceful and tranquil simply perfect.

The perfect hide away property

Everything was lovely, my husband and I needed a rest and this place was perfect. Will definitely be back. Host was quick with any communications and went above and beyond. Recommend to anyone needing a quick, well appointed place to relax.
