Beautiful and peaceful spot for our 1 week in Qualicun. Faye and Don are super friendly host. They thought of everything from cooking appliances and utensils if you’re planning to cook a few meals there. Even a rice cooker. Brand new BBQ or very well maintained. A great library of videos and books to choose from. A great kitchen layout to prep your meals. Check the cupboards and storage before you think she doesn’t haven’t because she does.She even had a fresh list of banana bread and a jar of creamer for my first cup of coffee! She thank you Fayr and Don!We would highly recommend it!

Super place, great hosts. Faye and Don were very friendly and responsive. Property was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need. The location was easy to find and very peaceful. Location was perfect.

I've stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this is my favourite. It is so quiet. The hosts. put a lot of thought and heart into the space. There a diverse offerings of books, DVD, CD, games etc... Something for everyone (even a box of stuffies). We had our morning coffee on the patio, surrounded by a chorus of birds. It was nice not to be in town and yet it's a 5 min. drive to the beach.

Peace in the woods

A delightful space ( including patio) with everything you would need. Nice little touches too. Very restful, just what I was hoping for. Also easy distance to Qualicum town, beach and other places to see and enjoy like Milner Gardens - highly recommended.

Clean and friendly

The cottage style atmosphere was cute and the facility was absolutely spotless! Nothing was within walking distance but to drive to town took no more than 5 minutes. I would recommend this Vrbo to those who are fine not being on the water or in town.

Beautiful property

Enjoyed the quiet setting in the country, but still very close to everything. The unit was very well equipped and very nicely decorated. Faye and Don were excellent hosts.

The suite had all the little touches you would need, from robes to a great movie and game selection, Faye and Don thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We'd highly recommend this place and would come back next time we're in the area.

Absolutely delightful stay! Faye thought of everything to make our stay perfect! So peaceful and quiet while just minutes from town. We enjoyed our own private area outside. Couldn’t be any better!!

Everything was clear, instructions before hand and in the suite. Banana bread was excellent. Would definitely stay again if we ever need accommodation in the Qualicum Beach area in the future.

We so enjoyed staying at Country Blue. It was like staying at home away from home. The hosts thought of everything to make sure we felt comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again. The location was absolutely wonderful we were out in the country yet just less then a 5 minute drive to Qualicum Beach and central location to Cathedral Forest. Close to Nanaimo, Nanoose Bay. Thanks for having us. 5 stars plus

Sewing Get Away

Two life long friends getting together to sew. Great space. We brought our own folding sewing tables. Lots of electrical outlets, great lighting and space. Very well equipped. Perfect for two. One of us had the bedroom, the other slept on the sofa bed.

Love the country setting in this neighbourhood. It’s peaceful, pretty and great for a morning trail run. I enjoy sipping my morning coffee while enjoying the view of Mt Arrowsmith. As a new retiree, I’m looking forward to creating a pleasant retreat for guests. My husband and I are always making little improvements on the property and we are ready to share our space with others.
