Cape Cod vacation during a pandemic

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was good, but Kitchen could use a little updating. It’s very dated. There weren’t enough utensils so we had to run the dishwasher every night. Due To the pandemic, we ate in more than we have in the past. All in all though we found the house to be quite adequate, very good location, close to two beaches.

The floors in the cottage were very warm and in need of replacement. The kitchen table and chairs were warn. The back deck was a great size and the deck furniture was good. We could not get the grill to work and it was in need of a good cleaning. The location was great !The beds were comfortable.

A few problems that did not get resolved during our stay

Property was clean and plenty of room for us. But there were issues that did not get resolved while there. The dryer was broken and did not get replaced before our arrival, we were not even notified to plan a bit better. The keurig coffee machine was broken first morning we go to use it and was never replaced. Also had some trouble with light switches and outlets. The WiFi was tricky, password was completely wrong. Also the master bedroom had a queen sized bed, not king as advertised.

Wonderful gem

We had a super time in a quiet neighborhood. A great open place. We enjoyed the porch for dinners and visiting. The place is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Only one thing there were no utensils for lobster, but Swan River cooked and broke them for easy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My children and I stayed in this cute Dennis Port home in 2019 and loved the location and the home. For my 60th birthday, my children treated me to a week in July 2021! This home fit all 7 of us very comfortably! It’s in a great location and we love Dennis Port! It’s close to so many restaurants, shopping and fun water sports. Also, the best is that this home is so close to the beach! We love Nantucket Sound. I am hoping my family and I can continue coming up to Dennis Port and stay in this beautiful Cape Cod home!

Reviewer Comments: The good: the beds were comfy, the washer dryer was new, wood floors were clean, fridge & stove are new, a/c worked well, walkable to the beach. The bad: 1/2 of the windows were mildewy, bathrooms haven't been updated in 30 years. Linoleum in kitchen has holes in it and rust spots. Kitchen table was so worn. Old checkered tablecloth on it made me break out in hives. Not enough lamps.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the cottage based on proximity to family. It was OK. We love to cook, and the kitchen wasn't really set up to prepare/serve meals for a family. With that being said, if we rent the same place next year, we will just pack kitchen items like can opener, more/larger cups, silverware, etc. The realty company managing the property was amazing, and we will definitely rent from them again.

Everything we needed

Very nice cottage, it had everything we needed. The oven looks new, we didn't need to use it but I see the old one was an issue in previous reviews. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of new pillows. This cottage is dog friendly, but the yard is small and backs up to a road. Overall a great place, you can walk to the beach and some restaurants. I would rent this house again!

Big home lots of space for family

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed staying at this location. We love the neighborhood and it was a perfectly close walk to beach and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly and we loved going for daily walks. The house had lots of space inside and we especially loved the deck and very much appreciated it being pet friendly so we could bring our dog. Some notable things that could be improved include: electrical seems touchy. A lot of outlets either didn’t work or plugs would wiggle in and off which didn’t seem safe. Also the stove burners were the same way. They would sometimes lose flame and then it would be left on. We got nervous a few times becuase it is gas. Another thing that didn’t seem safe to me. Lastly , we would have liked for some sort of barrier in the back yard from the street. Both neighbors have fences and this property did not. We had to constantly be worried of the kid or dog running into the street

Our Cape Cod vacation

House was ok. Kitchen could use an upgrade. Very old stove that was missing one dial. Slider door only had half a curtain covering it, as the curtain rod bracket was broken and hanging out of the wall. Very nice deck and outside shower. All other rooms and bathrooms were fine.
