Sea Breeze Suite is a quaint and fully contained guest suite, perfectly situated overlooking the harbour of Ucluelet. Designed for comfort and relaxation, this charming suite offers stunning waterfront views and a cozy West Coast atmosphere, making it the ideal retreat for couples or small groups looking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the region.

Managed by local company Blue Crush Vacation Rentals, proudly donating 2% to local charity from each direct booking, Sea Breeze is located in the heart of Ucluelet — just steps from the harbour, cafes, boutiques, restaurants, and the world-famous Wild Pacific Trail. A short drive takes you to Pacific Rim National Park, home to some of the most beautiful beaches and hiking trails the West Coast has to offer.



THE INTERIOR

A bright, fully contained ground-level guest suite in a harbourfront home, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and waterfront in a quiet residential neighbourhood.



SLEEPING

The suite comfortably sleeps up to four guests, featuring a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed in the living room (bedding included).



BATH

An ensuite bathroom accessible through the bedroom, featuring shampoo, conditioner, a hairdryer, and fresh towels for your stay.



KITCHENETTE

A fully contained kitchenette with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including utensils and kitchenware for cooking, a toaster oven, bar-size fridge, hot plates, and a drip coffee machine.
A BBQ with a spare tank is located just outside the door — please burn/scrape off food residue to avoid wildlife encounters.

COFFEE + TEA
Enjoy a starter supply of freshly roasted beans from Foggy Bean, our local roaster. Brew with ease using the drip coffee maker and reusable filter. For tea lovers, we offer an organic English Breakfast from Ucluelet Thay Tea.



LIVING ROOM

A cozy living space to unwind and relax, featuring a comfortable couch and entertainment options including Netflix, Disney+, Crave, and Pik TV (TELUS Optik TV for Apple TV).

The suite also features a diffuser with a signature essential oil blend from Mint — a locally-owned Ucluelet company known for their natural, organic oils. Love the scent? Visit their shop in town to bring some home.



LOCATION

Sea Breeze is located on a quiet street in the heart of Ucluelet, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes, the harbour, and the Wild Pacific Trail.

Enjoy watching the boats come and go, listening to sea lions, and if you’re lucky, spotting the occasional orca whale. The suite offers a peaceful harbourfront setting while still being centrally located for easy exploration of both Ucluelet and Tofino.



EXTRA GUESTS

A queen-sized pull-out couch bed is available in the living room with bedding provided.
An additional fee of $20 per guest per night applies for all parties over two people.



ACCESS

The unit is clearly marked with a sign “Sea Breeze” and is located on the ground floor.
The backyard is off limits and reserved for the long-term resident living above, as per Provincial regulation.

Check-in is after 4:00 PM
Check-out is at 10:00 AM



LAUNDRY

Not available onsite though the town has a laundromat. Proudly using Canadian made Nellies Laundry Soap which is unscented and ocean safe, perfect for those with sensitive skin! We do not use dryer sheets as well for environmental and body safe reasons.



TRANSIT

To get to Tofino from the mainland, you need to take a ferry to Nanaimo (closest) or Victoria. From there, it’s a scenic drive. Anywhere from 3 (Nanaimo) to 5 hours (Victoria). You can also fly into the airport with Pacific Coastal Airlines (the flight is stunning and so quick!) or seasonally, take a float plane from the Vancouver harbour downtown to Tofino harbour downtown.

There is a designated pedestrian path we call the MUP (multi use path) which is safe and has two lanes for walkers, bikers, joggers, strollers - you name it!. We encourage you to use it; it’s one of the things that makes Tofino unique. The free Shuttle bus runs during the summer months from town to the info centre. There is a city transit service that runs from Tofino to Ucluelet with limited service. There are a couple bike rentals (pedal bike and e-bike). There is also a local rideshare app called Coastal Rides, our version of Uber (download their app). Tofino Taxi is another option (though only one driver/car). For larger groups, there is Tiki Bus + Pacific Rim Navigators that needs to be pre arranged. There is a Budget Rental car service at the Tofino Airport (also needs to be pre-arranged).



BOOKING POLICIES:

Cancellation: 100% refund less $50 cancellation fee plus tax if cancelled more than 30 days before arrival. Non refundable if cancelled within 30 days of check-in. The different travel websites state slightly different
• Bookings are subject to a cleaning fee plus 16% tax (GST, PST and MRDT (Municipal) tax)
• Dog friendly (no cats): Please advise at time of booking. Dog towels will be provided. $50 per dog (1 dog max.)
• During the peak summer season (June 15 – Sept 15), houses have a 3 night minimum (or more) stay must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If you book and create a one night gap, we will contact you to shuffle the reservation ahead.
• Mid-season rates apply on Winter long weekends and during Christmas.
• 3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays
• 5-10% discount for 7 nights or more not during peak season
• Monthly stays: PST and MRDT do not apply and the system service fee will be discounted so please reach out for a quote.



INSURANCE:

When booking direct, our properties are protected by TRUVI, the digital trust platform that enables hosts and Guests to confidently transact in the short-term rental space. This basically mimics Aircover. Please note that once you have booked you will be contacted by TRUVI (formally known as SuperHog) to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed before check-in.

I had some difficulties using the VRBO app, but the host was most cooperative in helping me to overcome this. The unit was comfortable and well-equipped and the location had a great view of the harbour. Wild Pacific Trail was wonderful!

Really good value for the money here, particularly since we stayed during high season. Great location, close to everything you’d want to see in Ucluelet and the unit has everything you’d need.As noted in the listing, there are other units in the property. The other guests adhered to the noise requirements but the floorboards are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbours during the day if you’re sensitive to sounds. We spent most of our time out and about exploring the fantastic nature that Ucluelet and Tofino have to offer so it only impacted us a little bit.
