Lakefront Charming 3-bedroom cottage on beautiful Cranberry Lake

A beautifully appointed direct lakefront home with 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths which sleeps 6 very comfortably, with all new linens and towels provided. The camp has air conditioning on each floor, cable TV and wireless internet in each room. There is a well equipped kitchen that opens to the dining and living room area that leads to the elevated lake view deck with a BBQ, seating and table for outdoor enjoyment. Below, is a patio with a fire pit for evening fires and s’mores. The lakefront has a patio and floating dock to enjoy the lake. The lakefront is located in a calm cove with crystal clear, deep water, ideal for swimming. Complementary to our guests, the camp comes equipped with a row boat, canoe, fishing poles, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and life jackets. There are lounge chairs for sunning and to enjoy the peaceful lakefront. Cranberry Lake general store Birch's Lakeside offers motor boats for rent. Cranberry Lake Cottage strives to provide excellent service to our guests with all the convenience and amenities of home. There is a local agent in the area if you should need anything during your stay. The cottage is professionally cleaned before each guest arrives. Nice place in a very friendly neighborhood. The lake is beautiful and I even caught a nice largemouth bass right off the dock. Good hiking with great views nearby also.

We've stayed at this property several times and it has become one of our favorite places!! Its quiet, we have success fishing and there are beautiful hikes nearby. We wil definitely be back!! :)

Perfect place for a lake getaway. Lots of included equipment to enjoy the lake like kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, row boat. Took full advantage of everything we had time for.

We had a great time here! The kids had a lot of fun on the paddleboards, there were also kayaks, a canoe and a rowboat there and plenty of life jackets in all sizes. Matilda bay is a great spot as it's well protected on the windy days and deep enough to swim. The dock here is great, we were able to get our 22 ft tritoon in easily as well as my son's pond prowler fishing boat. Having the AC for sleeping at night was nice and being pet friendly also very rare. Kitchen has modern appliances for cooking and there's several different eating area options on the property. There is a steep walk from the cottage to the lake that could be a challenge for some folks, but that is pretty common on cranberry. Host always responded quickly to questions!

Great property, stocked with everything you need. My family made several great memories. My daughter asks, “Dad what sound does a moose make”, my 14 year old son says, “MOOOOOOSSSE”. Very secluded, no cell service, which is perfect for a true break from work!!

Everything was absolutely perfect! Location and house and property were beautiful, the dock had EVERYTHING you could possibly need!!! Great communication—couldn’t be any happier!! And great excercise walking up and down their hill!! :))

Relaxing and fun

This property is just what the vacation Dr ordered. The house was clean, organized, and fully equipped. My kids enjoyed most of their time in the water with all the accessible water crafts. The property does have a longer, steepish water all to the water, but it never hindered our fun.Thank you, Jeff!

Excellent Lakehouse

We had an excellent stay at this property! It had a beautiful deck that we spent most of our time on using the grill and taking in the scenery. The floating dock was our favorite part. It was so relaxing and overlooked a beautiful lake Cove. The host was accommodating, easy to communicate with, and very nice. We would love to stay again sometime!

Relaxing

This property was in a great location. We enjoyed the lake views from the dock. We also enjoyed the canoe and kayaks available for use. The house was clean. Will stay again.

Cozy cottage on lake

Overall, we enjoyed the stay, though there is definitely a moisture issue in the lower level, which rendered it useless. You can smell mildew by opening the door to the lower level. That said, the living space is a little tight. The dock and kayaks made up for the lack of space, just wish we had better weather to use them. Be prepared to bring some toilet paper and paper towels, as there is only 1 roll in kitchen. s the the

Beautiful area

We were pleased with the location to surrounding places of interest. The cabin was nice and clean. The women loved the fireplace. It would have been nice to have a dresser in the 1st floor Br and shelves on the walls in the bathroom.

Old Fashioned Fishing trip

The place was very nice EXCEPT the huge, very steep hill and gravel path to get to the boat dock in the backyard. It was way too steep and dangerous. We had to use the next door neighbor’s staircase to. Our older guests could not use the gravel path at all. Perhaps building a similar staircase to the neighbors would make the place more accommodating. Because of this alone, we will not come here again. We would not recommend it because there is no easy way to get to the dock at the lake.

Great stay

Beautiful property which was perfect for our family of six. We especially enjoyed using the kayak and paddle boards and hanging out on the dock to enjoy the peaceful lake.

Rainy but enjoyable stay

Very Nice. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen/dining layout spacious enough for all 6 of us. Bring extra garbage bags. Seating on deck and by the lake was great and enough for all 6 of us. We had a campfire by the lakeside for 2 nights, wonderful! Quiet, peaceful. We used one of the kayaks there, but the others had mud, leaves, etc in them. Be prepared to get some vigorous steps in going up and down the hill. Public boat launch is just down the road. I would stay again if it was sunny and we had the chance to swim in the lake, as it was clean, clear and no seaweed! Wanakena Fire Tower and trail nearby for a short hike. Carry Falls Reservoir also closeby for another paddle. General store in town had everything we needed plus icecream cones.

Nice location. The path to the lake was steep but doable. The row boat ,canoe and kayak were tied to the dock and easily accessible. The stove top was yucky. The counters were gritty and sticky., as were the shelves in the refrigerator.There was a small amt of garbage in the sink. The gas grill was really dirty and didn't work well even after replacing the tank. There was black mold on the outside trim at the bottom of the shower. The floor in the kitchen needed washing. No towel racks in upstairs bathroom . Only small hangars on the bedroom doors to hang clothes. All the TV controls needed batteries replaced. The property manager was very personable and helpful. Would stay again . Needs better cleaning.

Great cabin on Cranberry Lake

Nice lake cabin. Was as described. Good value. Only minor issues were that we didn’t originally receive check-in info, and the boats were filled with a lot of water and needed to be emptied. Otherwise, the cabin was great, in a nice location on Cranberry lake.

Family Trip July 2023

Nice, tidy, comfortable place. Has the things you need (bring some extra TP/PT though). Really convenient location (relative to other places you might want to visit). Easy access to the lake, plenty of water equipment. Only (minor) downside is that the family/living room area is super small. Worked out fine for us, but if you want to lounge as a group after a long day of water activities or hiking or whatever, you’ll need to sit around the kitchen table (which is a good size and has 6 chairs). They have made the most of the small area that’s there though. Overall, a great place!

Don’t hesitate to stay here!

From start to finish this was a great property with excellent communication. The house was extremely clean and exactly as described. We are a group of fisherman and the fishing was pretty good and everyone we encountered on the lake and other homes were super nice.
