The Larsen House está perfectamente ubicado para los huéspedes que, como todo lo que los rodea, playas, alquiler de kayak, puerto deportivo, tiendas, restaurantes, vida nocturna, conciertos, supermercados, panaderías, y todo está a poca distancia.

Campos de golf, parques, festivales de música, teatro al aire libre y mucho más está a pocos minutos o en coche.

Nuestra casa ha sido remodelada, restaura pisos de madera de arce, baño completo nuevo, interior recién pintado, dos ventanas nuevas, camas y muebles nuevos, y mucho más. ¡Tenemos aire acondicionado central y un nuevo HDTV Directv de 50 'montado en la pared y un reproductor de BluRay!

Nuevos muebles de exterior y parrilla en un gran patio trasero para su uso, así como un Big Fire Pit.

Y para mí, una de las partes más importantes de un alquiler de vacaciones es la limpieza. Nuestra casa pasará por una limpieza rigurosa y se colocarán sábanas frescas en las 3 camas antes de cada registro.

The property was advertised as newly remodeled and with two bathrooms. The first floor was remodeled but the second floor was not. Which was not an issue except the rooms had old mattresses laying around that is where the second bathroom was located. Also they had explained how they wanted the parking but apparently we did not have the cars parked that way. I was sent an email, but I am on vacation and did not read it. Then Vrbo support sent me an email. Again I didn't read my email. Not sure why he did not call me but instead I got a call from the cops. They were telling me if I didn't move the car we would be evicted.

Extremely clean home in central but busy location

The host was extremely responsive and communicative and the house was super clean. However, the house is too small for five adults. And, it's a very old house. Floors all squeaked loudly, the oven was old and there was no microwave. The house was minimally supplied - no spices, no aluminum foil, small things like that. The home is walkable to area attractions (shopping, beach, etc.) but it was also on a VERY busy street. We heard traffic noise well into each night.

Rustic place in a great location

The place was in an excellent location--easy to find and park and within walking distance of many local businesses and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and bedding was clean. It had more of a rustic, up-north cabin sort of feel. No frills, but it got the job done because we were only there really to sleep.

Great stay in egg harbor

This place was perfect for our family for a long weekend in door county. Walk to grocery, one barrel, and big easy for breakfast. If we were staying longing I wish it would have laundry. Other than that it had everything we needed and was a great location to visit family in southern door county and then visit a friend in Washington island. Would stay here again!

First time in Door County

Place was definitely clean and everything worked…parking in driveway convenient for our one vehicle.house is on main road into town (and beyond) not noisy but not quiet a bit “exposed” to the world passing by… Furnishings & rooms much more dated than most rentals- living room has newer couches and brand new seeming tv but is quite small for 4 adults to visit comfortably- Appreciated comfortable beds A/c powerful Front door key-less lock worked perfectly! Just an overall impression of “basic/economy” Accomodations and did not find any evidence of jetted tub anywhere which is listed in several places on vrbo Overall visitors thought it was a little dreary and disappointing for the cost…owner was easy to communicate with …

Comfortable but needs attention

The property suited our needs for a place to stay during our sister’s trip to Door County. The accommodations were lacking in things other VRBO host provide. We like to cook some of our own meals the kitchen was lacking in many cooking tools including lids to skillets and pots, no seasonings, foil, ziplock bags, utensil and silverware were old and outdated as where the glassware. In past VRBO’s we’ve stayed in will provide simple hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap this place did not. However, we did have 2 simple issues where we reached out to the host who responded quickly and remedied the minor problems. There were Silverfish bugs in the house but only a few. The best part is everything was in walking distance in Egg Harbor. If you want a tech free trip this is the place, the wi-fi was weak, spotty and would kick you off. With 4 people using cell phones it was impossible for all of us to be on our phones at the same time. Our charged phones and watches would drain quickly as they were always searching for internet connection. For the price per night, I would expect more. If the above issues are corrected we will come back.

Close to Egg Harbor but...

This house is oddly divided with the front door in one of the bedrooms. The place was pretty dirty with dead insects inside the kitchen storm window and pretty dank air coming up from the basement. The only bathroom sink was so slow to drain we all brushed our teeth and washed up in the kitchen. There was an infestation of earwigs (bugs) that were in our bed! There is an upstairs that is unfinished and pretty scary. For the price I would look elsewhere.

Pumpkin Patch Getaway

Perfect location for exploring the entire peninsula, all the way to the tip. Great spot for the pumpkin patch, wineries, local shops and hiking. The house was a perfect size for the 4 of us, we each had our own room and a bathroom, we did have to purchase our own toilet paper as their was only one roll in the house between the two bathrooms. The fire pit in the back would have been perfect if the weather cooperates, I would 100% stay in this location again for our next trip!

Great little house!

This was a great little house for the three of us. It was set up well and is in the perfect location for walking to the shops, restaurants, brewery, marina, etc. in Egg Harbor. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great Location

Paul, thanks for your help with everything. This is an ideal location within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and even a great distillery. The grocery store is only two blocks away - much easier than lugging your stuff upstairs through a motel. Nice having a working kitchen as an option for a light breakfast or lunch so you don’t have to go out for every meal. Will be back next year.

Great location!

We had a great spot here for our 3 generation vacation! Nice spot for reading and playing games and setting down after shopping and listening to music. Door County is a beautiful place we will be returning to again!

Don’t overthink it

Quaint older house with an odd layout and squeaky floor but don’t overlook this place. Very clean and well kept and the location just can’t be beat. If you can walk 7/10 of a mile you can hit most everything thing Egg Harbor offers and some of the best places are only a few blocks away. Great stay and we will book again if we decide to stay in Egg Harbor again

Great Spot!

In need of updates

The 1/2 bath had no baseboards, a corroded drain, we had to screw in lightbulb to turn on light, and it was accessed thru unfinished upper level with ceiling plaster on the floor. The kitchen light fixture was a bare lightbulb. Living room couch was sagging and uncomfortable. Dining table had pads, but no table cloth. Windows were in dire need of a wash. Bathroom window had no curtain. While location was excellent, the whole place needed attention.

Great weekend stay

We rented this home with a large group of friends, many of whom stayed in one of the other Larsen properties next door. Excellent stay, clean, and bed was very comfortable.

Mother daughter weekend

Two daughters two mothers weekend. Great location! The house was clean and perfect for what needed. Owners were very accommodating to our requests. We had a great time !

I was born and raised in Baileys Harbor, resident of Door County since 1961. Graduated as an Electronics Technician in 1980. Popped right into the Television Business as an owner in 1981 out of Baileys Harbor. I bought this property in 2001 to relocate my business. The property ended up being larger than I knew as there was not a land survey done at time of purchase. One day in 2004 I was on a television service call and fell in love with my customer's home. My customer's home was a 1800 era log home and was beautiful. Long story short, I ended up buying a log home from him that was stacked in a pile in storage. Ultimately this is what put me into the vacation rental business. Starting with restoring history of an 1861 school called 'old school house #3' now called Larsen Log Cabin and is our other vacation rental, VRBO #427036. Our big log home is considered top of the line and this house is just a quaint, clean and affordable rental. So I hope you enjoy either of our places.

This property was for sale for a long time and belonged to my relatives. The price was right and I wanted to be part of the Village Egg Harbor, because it is such a beautiful Village. My Grandmother grew up in Egg Harbor across from the Shipwrecked Restaurant and Blacksmith Shop, now a clothing shop. Grandpa married Grandma and they started their first bar business in Fish Creek. Later they moved to Baileys Harbor and started another bar business called Paul and Viola's Glass Bar, now called the Cornerstone Pub. My Grandma's Sister owned and operated Lena's sip and chat in Egg Harbor, my Great Aunt and she was great. And my Uncle Kenny owned the Midtown Tap in Egg Harbor (now Mojo Rosas) and also ran his barber shop in the Bar. Well you could have a beer and get your hair cut at the same time.
