By far the worst guests I have ever hosted. From the moment they checked in, they immediately started looking for excuses to demand money back. They falsely claimed the refrigerator was “dirty” because it contained condiments like ketchup, jam, and BBQ sauce intentionally left for guest use — not trash or leftover food. They demanded a large cleaning refund, refused my offer of a full refund to leave immediately, and later still left a retaliatory negative review. After checkout, the property was left in terrible condition: filthy floors, messy beds, damaged drawers, and a broken ping pong table net. They also completely ruined the hot tub water to the point it smelled strongly like urine and change to yellow/green ish. The brand-new filter I had just installed became dirtier than the old filter I had used for years, and the water could not even be cleaned properly. I had to fully drain and refill the entire hot tub, and I documented everything with photos. These guests also falsely claimed damages already existed before arrival, which is absolutely untrue. I strongly warn other hosts to avoid renting to them. In my experience, they damaged property, tried to pressure for refunds, and left dishonest retaliatory reviews. They were saying this the first time they book a house online when they book my place, now they saying they been other houses and all better??? I have no problem refund them the cleaning fee if they left house clean and tie as they said who they were.
