K.W.'s Main Street Manor is literally ONE block from charming downtown Pequot Lakes with bars, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, splash pad and the 115-mile Paul Bunyan State Trail (biking(2 bicycles included!!)/snowmobiling/cross-country skiing). This newly remodeled property boasts 5 bedrooms, including 3 king bedrooms and 2 queen bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms, perfect for accommodating all your guests. Each bedroom has its own Roku TV, mirror for getting ready and unique character/extra amenities. The primary has its own bathroom, plus an extra space for reading or visiting with your favorite person. There are two separate common areas for guests to spread out depending upon activities and mood. The downstairs family room has a 65" Roku TV, leather sectional with foot rests/beverage trays, multifunctional table for dining or poker night, plus a nostalgic Pac Man with 10 extra games, steel-tip dartboard and mini beverage fridge. This area also has a variety of adult and kid-friendly board games, puzzles, etc. The upstairs living room has a 75" Roku TV, leather sectional, cocktail tables/extra seating and opens to the kitchen and large dining table. The modern kitchen is user-friendly with extra appliances, kitchen gadgets, spices, oils, etc. for preparing meals during your stay. Plus, a plethora of fun and fancy dishes/glasses and serving trays to complete your dining/grazing activities. Seeds of Sommer (organic foods/health/beauty store) is literally one block away if you forgot to pack something.

Enjoy the convenience of Wi-Fi, heating/central air conditioning, a washer and dryer, plus a mudroom with shelving, hooks and shoe storage. There is a large deck off of the kitchen that is also connected to the primary bedroom/reading nook. The deck features a patio table, gas grill, and fire feature for warmth and ambiance. The backyard has comfy lounge furniture, fun yard games and a fire pit further out/away from the 100 yr old GIANT pine tree/woods for fire safety...

Kelly thinks of everything! Immaculate and nicely decorated. Plenty of plugs and hooks. Thoughtfully prepared outdoor areas. Personalized gift basket. And the most well stocked and equipped kitchen of any VRBO we’ve seen. We’d definitely return.

A Great return to the Pequot Lakes Area!

After visiting the Pequot lakes area 30 years ago every year for many years, my parents, 3 siblings and all of our spouses (10 Total), we returned this weekend and had a fabulous time rekindling memories and creating new ones.I credit our fun stay to a great host in Kerry who was very welcoming, communicative and helpful to help maximize our stay. Her property got the cleanliness approval of my mother and that is saying a ton. We used indoor and outdoor amenities at the property and also enjoyed the local shops and restaurants in Pequot Lakes. You can’t go wrong with this host or property if you want to stay in Pequot!

10/10: Great updated property, small town charm.

We had 3 couples over 50 staying, for frame of reference. First of all, it seems nearly all details have been thought of by the hosts. Here are some examples of the 'little things' we took note of:Local charcuterie, frozen pizzas, ice cream treats, local coffee, bottled water, candy treats, stocked spice cabinets and more available in the kitchen at check in. Towels are great. 'Fancy' soaps, body washes, conditioners offered. Spare toothbrushes, floss, and toiletries on hand. Q-tips and make up remover wipes on sinks. Laundry detergents, softeners available. Firewood and extra propane on hand. The host also allows use of garage space for storage, which was helpful, and oh so rare.A/C not 'policed' by host. We were able to use/control the thermostat to our liking.The host is very responsive, both pre-check in and during stay.Another neat touch was the use of sticky notes to tell us about a few things, and a local guide put together by the owner.Would stay here again if back in the area.

My husband and I both grew up in Long Prairie, Minnesota. We have always had a passion for buying, renovating, furnishing and selling properties. We did our first property in 1996 before Chip and Joanna made it cool! 😉 We have transformed properties in various locations throughout Minnesota, Coastal Texas/Galveston Island and Florida. Last fall, we decided to do our first short-term rental in the quaint resort town of Breezy Point in Northern Minnesota. It is called the Posh Pelican. It has been booked consistently and we've only received 5-star reviews, so we must be doing something right!! We go the extra mile for each group of guests, and provide a personalized gift basket, asking guests their favorite drinks and snacks a week before checking in. (We will do the same for this new property in Pequot Lakes!) We are hands-on/active hosts, and make sure communication is always answered in a timely manner. We make sure our properties are pristine, fun and inviting, with extra amenities always available. We actually stay at our properties pretending to be "real guests" to make sure the house is user-friendly and you have all of the conveniences of your own home. I cook a variety of meals in the kitchen and write down any utensils, dishes, pans, etc., I think are missing from current inventory, and then go shopping to make your life easier when you check in!

We fell in love with downtown Pequot Lakes and when a house popped up on the market that was only one block away from all of the fun boutiques, restaurants/bars/Paul Bunyan Trail, we decided it was the perfect opportunity for a short-term rental. We acquired it this fall and have been busy turning it into a vacation rental for you! It was so fun picking everything out for you... I've never been able to walk one block to find decor for a house I was designing! And it's a wonderful feeling to know you are buying local and supporting small businesses within the community.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our property has a large yard, plenty of parking for vehicles (plus bikes and snowmobiles) and lots of space to spread out, despite the fact that it is one block from Main Street. Most short-term rental homes are a little further out and not situated right in town, where you can walk to everything! We have fun and comfy deck and patio furniture for outside entertainment. You can choose to relax in the "Zen-like" area or play yard games in the backyard or have a fire and roast marshmallows. We are only 5 miles from Breezy Point Resort with their fun beaches, restaurants, and free concerts.
