Great place

This house was great. The location was easily within walking distance of the beach. The place was spacious enough that 6 adults could manage without crawling all over each other. The master bedroom was especially the highlight with a kind bed and plenty of room. The shower in the master bedroom was phenomenal with glorious water pressure. After a day at the beach, that shower was a godsend. The only thing that was even the slightest negative (and this was an inconvenience not a true negative) was the driveway. One of our party had a larger truck and it was a tight fit. But let’s be honest here as this is a first world problem not a dealbreaker. How could you complain about this when the rest of the place was truly wonderful. We would stay here again for sure on the next vacation to 30A!

Seaside Stay

This was in the perfect location & it was such a cute home. The perfect beach vibe. All of us absolutely loved the house and said we would come back. My only complaint is when we went to do laundry, the washing machine smelled very mildewy, as I know that is common with front load washers. Overall, we had an amazing time here.

Cottage by sea is all show not real

Unfortunately there were about 10 items that have to be taken care of before you have guests... 1. All your bedding sheets pillows are very poor quality or not even provided * not one blanket... they looked dirty and old 2.A serious red ant infestation I called no one called back 3.All the floors were very dirty washer smelled badly all bases of cabinets have never been cleaned EVER... 4.PROVIDING ONE TOILET PAPER PER BATH AND ONE ROLL OF PAPER TOWEL, NO CLEANING PRODUCTS NOT EVEN A DAY OF WATER IS JUST SOO CHEAP AND REFLECTS ABSOLUTELY NO SENCE OF HOSPITALITY, NO UMBRELLA... TABLE LAMPS BROKEN MASTER TV WORKS SOMETIMEs. NEVER CONTACTING US WITH ASKING HOW WE WERE DOING OR IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING AGAIN VERY POOR HOSPITALITY ... WE OWN A FEW APTS ON RENTAL SITE NEED A NEW MANAGING and cleaning group I blame the owners for not being interested.. it shows 100 percent NO PERSONAL TOUCHES .... THE ONE GREAT THING WAS THE WATER PRESURE...great for showering.

Delightful!

We had such a wonderful time at the beach house! Literal steps to the ocean, beautiful porch on both floors, and very comfy sleeping accommodations. I will definitely stay with this company again. Do note, the driveway only fits 2 full size SUVs max, and there is no street parking available.

Gulf Mist was great!

Our stay at Gulf Mist was very enjoyable. The house was beautifully decorated and clean. The open layout of the kitchen and living space was great. Our family spent a lot of time sitting outside on the wraparound porch both upstairs and down. It was perfect for some of the more rainy days during our vacation. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The house was in a convenient location to many restaurants and a very short walk to the beach access or to the neighborhood swimming pool which was never too crowded. The property mgmt came by to make sure we were happy with everything in the home and we had noticed the outdoor grill wasn’t working. They came back the next day with a replacement. We called the property mgmt team a few weeks prior to our trip and was able to reserve a golf cart for the week of our stay. The cart was ready to go upon our arrival and was a fun addition. We would definitely stay at Gulf Mist again and highly recommend!

Family vacay

Was a great trip. Overall the house was great. We loved the balcony. It was our shortest walk to the beach and the walk was a nice docked area. The only thing was the outdoor grill has seen its days. The downstairs shower lacked a bit of privacy. But overall a great trip

Special Mother’s Day trip

Great experience with 30-A Vacay rental property. Paula was very helpful and accommodating . Easy check in process . Home was very Cute , clean and comfortable !! Lovely porches ! ! Had everything we needed including beach chairs and floats. Close to the beach and short bike ride to Seaside . My mom and I had a lovely stay!!!

Great location and layout

Overall, the house is solid. Great layout. Great location. Tons of outdoor space. We had a nice trip. However, the cleanliness needs some attention. There was dirt/stains all over all the downstairs and master bedroom furniture covers. We sat on blankets that we brought with us. Stains on the towels (gross!) All the baseboards, handles, and cabinet indentions need to be wiped down. The grill was also gross. If they'd correct these issues the house would be perfect.

Family getaway

Had a wonderful stay at cottage by the sea. It was a lovely home, easy to get to the beach and had plenty of beach supplies! Would definitely stay in this location again. Only complaint is our trip wasn’t long enough!!

Sweet Cottage by the Sea

We loved the location and layout of this home. Furniture was a bit worn but comfortable. Loved the 2nd floor porch and chairs. Kitchen was decent and loved the large eat-in counter/table. Great for family dinners and working. Only some minor drawbacks: 1) location of home is right on 30A so traffic noise was fairly constant. Of you’re a light sleeper, bring a white noise machine. The master bedroom is very nice - roomy with sitting area and TV. We loved it but hated the bed. Two troughs made it touch for side or stomach sleepers. Otherwise, it was a great home!

Love love love this house!

This house was absolutely stunning. We shot lots of photos for our clothing company around the house because the weather ended up being so cold and it was gorgeous. We loved the large porches and beautiful kitchen and living room. I highly recommend this place. Short walk to the beach and we rode bikes to Seaside every day. We didn't want to leave!

Fabulous Girls Trip!

We loved this house for a recent girls trip. The location is lovely and the house is beautiful. It comfortably slept our group and the wrap around porches on the upper and lower levels are wonderful!

I have been coming to this area since 1998. I also used to live in Watercolor. This home was surprisingly stunning, we enjoyed it so much that we will be Booking this location from now on.

Beautiful home close to the beach

Loved this cottage inside and out. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen and open concept made for an enjoyable stay. Plenty of outdoor living spaces included. The shed is full of everything needed for the beach! We would definitely return to Cottage by the Sea! Like home away from home.

Great House in Great Location

Great house for quick access to beach, Seaside and Rosemary areas. Nice private upstairs with its own porch and inside seating area. Large kitchen and connected open family room and outside porch. Perfect location.

Beautiful beach

Property is exactly as described and pictured. The house was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. It is on a corner of busy road and was noisy all day and night. Next door a crowd of high school teenagers had a party and the cars blasting music never ceased. That being said, if you are looking for peace and quiet this location is not for you. We enjoyed our stay but would not choose this area again.
