This was an absolute disaster. We unfortunately only spent 20 minutes at the property before leaving and not staying at all. The address given on the listing is incorrect. So the property we went to was incorrect and we were threatened by the actual owners of that address. When we finally got ahold of the owner she texted the correct address and we drove a few minutes to that property. Once there we entered our unit. The overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke was the first indicator we could not stay there. Then as we walked through the unit it was disgusting. There was a dirty mattress propped up against a dirty sofa. Then every room had an ashtray sitting on the table. The windows were covered with sheets and one even had what appeared to be contact paper stuck to it. There are zero televisions at the property. When we reached out to the owner she told us we could move to a different unit on the property. We went to look at it but it was just as dirty and also had a horrendous odor. I was traveling with my mother, and my two children who are 16 and 12. It was simply not possible to keep them in these conditions. We reached out to VRBO and were only offered a 50% refund. I feel this was a bait and switch listing based on the incorrect listing address and the fact that they obviously allow smoking inside the rental.
