This place was everything we hoped for and more for a beach getaway! The home is beautiful and super comfortable, with an awesome pool, relaxing hot tub, and a great deck for hanging out after a long day at the beach. The fenced backyard was a huge plus for us!! It felt totally safe letting the kids play while we relaxed.The beach is 100% walkable, which made the trip even better. We loved being able to walk over for early morning sunrises and come back in the evening to catch the gorgeous sunsets!! Absolutely unreal views and such a peaceful vibe.The host was seriously amazing!! 🤩 so helpful, responsive, and genuinely kind. Everything was easy and stress-free from booking to check-out.We made some great memories here and would absolutely book this place again. Highly recommend for a perfect family beach vacation!

Perfect beach house

The house had a perfect layout for large groups. Private bathrooms, elevator for groceries or large bags. The kitchen was well stocked. The beach in front of the house was less busy, which we liked.

The house, location and amenities were perfect for our annual girls trip. Plenty of rooms, beautiful views, and a gorgeous home. The pool was wonderful, plenty of games for being outdoors. We had an issue with the ice maker not working and although it wasn’t a quick fix our hosts were kind enough to drop off some bags of ice. We appreciated that! We would absolutely book this home again. Thank you!

We are rating this property 4 out of 5 stars.The house is only a few months old, built with good materials and nice finishes and furniture. Overall, it is a comfortable place to stay with beautiful ocean views and great sunrises. We were able to rest very well and would recommend it.However, during our 5-day stay, there were repair crews working on the property sometimes during 3 days. The first-floor garage doors were not functioning, so we were unable to use the first level. None of the bedrooms have closets or furniture to store or hang clothes, and the master bedroom balcony door does not have a curtain.Because the house is located near coastal vegetation, there were many mosquitoes despite cooler temperatures (around 50–60F), so insect repellent is necessary.We were not able to use the pool because it was very cold (approximately 60F) and does not have a heater. We only used the jacuzzi, which has a great view in the second floor. The host is very good. For these reasons, we are giving it 4 out of 5 stars.

2025 Summer Family Vacation

My family rented this house for a family vacation with 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 3-11). The space was perfect and we enjoyed the views, the pool and the beach. It had everything we were looking for and was perfect for all our activities - time at the beach, playing at the pool, coffee on the patio overlooking the beach and dance parties in the living room! Perfect stay overall - highly recommend. Big plus having the elevator for loading in all our things!

Beautiful rental/unforgettable vacation

This house was so beautiful that if I owned it, I'm not sure I would put it up for a rental. It had all the amenities that you could ask for and was supplied with everything we needed. We did have a few hiccups, but when notified, they were either taken care of immediately, or I feel assured that they will be taken care of. When contacted with our concerns, the response time was adequate and I feel like our concerns were addressed sincerely. Hopefully, we will be able to rent it again.

Weekend Getaway with Family and Friends

We had an amazing weekend getaway at this gorgeous beachfront property! The house was absolutely stunning, even better than the photos—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying coffee with an oceanfront view was relaxing.The property manager was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, quickly answering any questions we had and making sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and well-managed beach retreat—we’ll definitely be back!

Coastal long weekend

We had a 4day weekend off from work and school. We decided to make a quick getaway and bring the dogs along. House was clean and fabulous! Had an elevator for grandmother to use since she has mobility issues and an en-suite bathroom for every bedroom! Wonderful decks with a hot tub and a pool. Loved it!

Overall the house is very nice. There is plenty of room for a big family to stay, we had 9 adults and 5 children. There is plenty of deck space to enjoy the ocean view. The beds were comfortable and linens were great. The management company checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything. The only issues were the doorknobs on several of the doors were loose for a house that isn’t very old. I know this sounds trivial but we didn’t want to get charged for breaking them. We told the management company and they said it would be fixed after our stay as to not to disturb us(nice touch). And last but not least having the elevator was a game changer when loading and unloading everything for a big family like us. Will stay there again.

When we arrived doors were open and left unlocked with garage door left open. The pool was full of sand and bugs. We disnt find a net to clean bugs every time. Stuff was left in fridge and freezer.

Wow, what a fantastic experience!

We've stayed at Bolivar Vacations properties many times before and the good experiences just seem to get better every time! Wayward sun is a beautiful property, very serene. The ocean-facing decks on both levels let us wander out and enjoy the view and ocean breeze no matter where we were in the house. Morning coffee with our feet up on the railing was my favorite! Well, maybe cooking on the deck grill is up there too… Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Great Stay with a Few Suggestions for Improvement

The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and overall we had a great stay. Just a few comments for improvement:The elevator wasn’t working. We were notified of this a few days prior, and were told that a technician would attempt to repair it before our arrival. However, it seems the repair didn’t happen in time.Upon arrival, we followed the instructions to enter the house. While the garage code worked, the keys to access the interior of the home were not inside as expected. We had to make several calls to receive a new code and access the keys.We also reported that the pool water was cloudy. Although someone came to check it, the technician mentioned that chemicals had been added shortly before our arrival and that the water would clear up over the next few days. Unfortunately, we only stayed for the weekend, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool in optimal condition. We suggest applying pool chemicals well in advance to ensure the water is clear by the time guests arrive.The checkout time is very strict and quite early—10:00 a.m. is earlier than most hotels. We recommend extending it by at least an hour to allow a more comfortable departure.Lastly, we suggest building a small bridge or direct path to the beach like other nearby homes have, to avoid having to walk around to access the ocean.In general, it’s a lovely home and we would recommend it. We just wanted to share this feedback to help improve future guest experiences.

This property was listed as having DIRECT BEACH ACCESS. It does not. The view is wonderful but you cannot get to the beach from the deck as stated. I consider this false advertising and cannot give it 5 stars. It is extremely upsetting to pay for something that was a outright lie. This was the major point is choosing this property. The management offered no explanation, no excuse, no compensation, and were extremely rude. So vacationers beware of this bait and switch property.
