We loved FlumeFlolandO! Plenty of room for a group of 8 - 2 sets of parents and 4 young-adult kids for a pre-Christmas ski trip. The space was clean, well-appointed, and easy to enter. Comfy beds with plenty of linen, blankets, and pillows. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels, toilet paper, mini-soaps and shampoos. The kitchen was very clean and well-stocked. We ate every meal at the chalet -- plenty of pots, saucepans, mini-crockpot setup, casserole/brownie pans as well as dishes and cutlery. Plenty of room for our big group at the large dining table. This allowed everyone to come and go at will for food and rest. The the ski-in/ski-out feature is a winner. It was so easy to get on and off the slopes. Also an easy walk to Top of the World. We had young adults (skiers) who, on a whim, wanted to try snowboarding. OK! Easy! We simply rented gear online the night prior and walked to fetch the gear. No car needed! It could not have been more convenient. Loved the hot tub! It's so relaxing to hop in after a day on the slopes. Aaaah! Communication with host Michael was so easy. His responses to my questions were quick and helpful. Can't say enough positive things! We loved it! We've stayed at a few places at Snowshoe over the years -- this is our favorite! We plan to return.
