Welcome to the Premier Suite @ The Matriarch, a historic heritage property in downtown Ashland. This self check-in style accommodations means you have the place all to yourself. Stroll to dinner at one of Ashland's finest restaurants or cozy up in the private outdoor living room. Expect thoughtful local touches and attention to every last detail. Soak in the beauty of bold design as you decompress in our generous copper tub. The Matriarch is our newest addition to the Swank House family.
The Space:
The Premier Suite amenities include: Cal King bed, large modern bathroom with massive copper soaking tub, tile surround shower, kitchenette with sink, bowls, and silverware. Small refrigerator, microwave and beverage station. We supply local coffee and an assortment of sweeteners and creamers. A large private patio with living room seating and dining table. Suite 1 is located on the first floor in the historical carriage house of The Matriarch. This suite is detached from the original historic home. Please note that Suite 2 is located above you on the second floor, footsteps may be heard in this historical carriage house.
Guest Access:
You will have access to your suite, your personal private patio and the surrounding property grounds.
The Neighborhood:
The Matriarch is located steps away from all that downtown Ashland has to offer. Park your car and walk everywhere! We are 1/2 block from our local Co-op grocery store and 1-2 blocks from local coffee, restaurants, shops and more.
Getting Around:
Walking is the preferred way to get around while staying at The Matriarch.
Other Things to Note:
The Matriarch is a collection of spaces which share one common property. If you are interested in renting the entire property, please find our 'The Matriarch Entire Hotel Property' listing or inquire for more details. Ashland Permit (#18-243)
Interaction with Guests:
We respect your autonomy at The Matriarch but are always available by message or phone. Our staff are either on site or minutes away.
