Cute house a few blocks from the square. Lots of light, off-street parking, laundry and big TV. Walkable to restaurants and bars. Full kitchen with plenty of seating in the dining room for meals.

Overall a nice property. Upstairs needs at least a fan in the smaller bedroom, or preferably an air conditioner.Wiring is a little odd in that the switch in the downstairs BR operated the lights in the main upstairs room.

Not the quaint place it appears. The location is nice but the house is old and run down. Open the curtains and you’ll discover not much is cleaned. The master bedroom is conditioned by a portable AC unit that sounds like a jet engine. It was so loud no one could sleep in the room. Also access is not ideal. Stairs are not very sturdy.

We were in town for a wedding, this was a great location. Comfy beds, good showers and a nice kitchen for preparing meals!

Perfect place for our stay!

We originally had another VRBO cancel on us the day before our trip. We happened to find this last minute and it was perfect! We had plenty of room and the kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook. Communication with the host was excellent and she was very accommodating.

What we needed

We were in town for a funeral and this how was what we needed. Seems to be an older home but updates have definitely been made! There was all kinds of extras of things you normally forget at home if you let your teens pack their own bags like toothbrushes etc! The only thing I could complain about is the noise of the cars driving by but keep in mind I live in the south on the back of 14 acres not a neighborhood. So for most cars passing by is no issue.

Travel RN 3 month stay

I really enjoyed this house. It is old and has quirks, but it is fully functional and was very homey. Everything that you need for a long-term stay is here. My favorite feature was the kitchen, which is the best equipped one I've seen in a short term rental. Plenty of high quality pots and pans and other accoutrements. The house may be older, but all of the appliances and the bathrooms are new. The neighborhood is quiet and there are blackout curtains in the downstairs bedrooms. Easy 30 min commute to UNMC. I got packages from Amazon and FedEx with no issues, and even though it's a small town there are instacart and doordash options. This was my favorite rental ever.

Wonderful family stay

We flew into Omaha with a multigenerational family right before Christmas. We had so much space and the house was toasty warm. There was plenty of coffee and a comfy couch. We cooked family meals and enjoyed the time.

Host was absolutely amazing! When a hiccup happened in our travel she was amazing at accommodating. Would highly recommended staying here! Thank you again for being so accommodating and helpful!

Very nice

Great location in the town. The town is like Mayberry. The host is very kind and if we needed anything to call. I would stay there again. The owners are top shelf people. :)

Growing up in SE-Nebraska, Glenwood gives a great feel of home even to visitors— or a long time visitor like myself. Although, I’m not originally an Iowa native- my husband has roots to Glenwood that keep us grounded here with our children. We love meeting new people and welcoming people from all over! We hope you enjoy our house as much as we do!

This property is very unique and diverse! This place is great for a family trip, a guys trip or ladies trip— or a long stay for work. Enjoy the community from a walking proximity or stay in and play a round of poker downstairs. If you like to be an entertainer, there’s also a bar in the basement where you can enjoy close conversations! Although, my favorite feature of this house is the “laundry chute”!
