Looking for a cozy cabin in the pines? Black Bear Bungalow is the perfect home for making your Angel Fire memories. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin sleeps eight. It overlooks the Cougar Trail and is close to Monte Verde Lake. On the first level, you walk into the tiled entrance hall, with plenty of room for boots and coats. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing family meals. It has full-size appliances including a dishwasher and glass-top gas range, and both Keurig and drip coffeemakers. The dining area seats eight at the table, with an additional two seats at the kitchen bar. The living room has room for the family to gather around the wood-burning stove, with seating for six (including a three-seat reclining sofa) plus a large ottoman. The two-seat sofa expands into a full-size bed, and the flat-screen TV is equipped with Roku. The living room opens onto the deck, which has great views of the Cougar Trail and local wildlife. The master bedroom is on the first floor and can be shut off from the living area. There is a queen-size bed. Across the hall, the main bathroom features a walk-in shower. The utility room has a stacked washer and dryer.
Upstairs is the second bathroom with a combination shower/tub. The second and third bedrooms both feature a king-size bed and a balcony. The second bedroom's balcony has a view over the rear of the property and the Cougar Trail, while the third bedroom's balcony looks out to the pines at the front of the house.
Wi-Fi is provided throughout, and a pack and play and highchairs are available on request for an additional fee, as available.

Black Bear Bungalow is a pet-friendly home. Up to two of your pets can enjoy the opportunities for great walks along the Cougar Trail and to Monte Verde Lake, for an additional fee.
Access to this home requires 4-wheel drive in the winter months.
Black Bear Bungalow is a ten-minute walk to Monte Verde Lake, a six-minute drive (2.4 miles) to the Angel Fire Country Club, and seven minutes (3.6 miles) to the Angel Fire Resort Ski Area.

KITCHEN: Dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, glass-top electric range, crock pot, toaster, pots and pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, flatware, Keurig and drip coffeemakers.
INDOOR LIVING: Wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV with Roku. Downstairs heating: Gas wall heater. Upstairs heating: Baseboard heaters.
OUTDOOR LIVING: Deck with seating, access to the Cougar Trail.
GENERAL: WiFi, linens/towels, hair dryers, and hangers are included as well as a kitchen pack and soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
LOCATION: Black Bear Bungalow is a seven-minute drive (3.6 miles) from the ski base area, a six-minute drive from the Angel Fire Resort Country Club, and ten minutes' walk from Monte Verde Lake.
PARKING: The garage is not accessible. There is room for three vehicles in the driveway.
POOL AND FITNESS: The indoor pool and fitness center at the Angel Fire Country Club are available for a daily/weekly/monthly fee.

The indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center at the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort is not available for public use.

WHAT TO KNOW:
This property is managed by Angel Fire Resort Vacation Rentals, 10 Miller Lane, Angel Fire, NM.
Check-in is available after 4 p.m. at the front desk of the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort. Please return keys/fobs to the front desk by 10 a.m. for check-out.
Because Angel Fire does not have residential trash pickup, trash must be taken to the Recycling Center by guests. There is a map to the Recycling Center in your guestbook. Please do not leave any trash outside as the wildlife will open the bags. We offer a Trash Removal option for your reservation; for a $100.00 fee, we will remove all bagged trash from the property after your check-out.
Smoking is not permitted on our properties.
Pets are ONLY allowed in designated pet-friendly homes.
4WD or AWD vehicles are required for our homes during the winter months (November-March). It is not required to access the condos in the village, but if you are not used to winter driving, please be prepared for difficult driving conditions and use caution.
