Wonderful beach house. The view is wonderful! We loved Land’s End. The building is right next to the pool which was great. We just wouldn’t give it 5 stars because upon arrival the lounge chair on the balcony was ripped and the couch in the living room which is described as a pull out bed was only a couch.

The condo was great.

We enjoyed the condo. Our only complaint was that the walls with wallpaper were very dusty. The headboard in the master bedroom were also dusty. Would definitely stay there again. In the future, a comfortable recliner would be great. Thank you to the owners!

Wonderful Beach Front Vacation!

The condo had everything we needed. I would have liked access to a gas grill however. Pool, tennis courts etc are well maintained and the staff were very accommodating. White sandy beaches, beautiful sunsets, great company -- what more could you ask for? We will be back!

Love the view, the condo, the pool, the grounds. A couple of changes could be made. The sheets on the bed do not stay on, this becomes quite an annoyance every night. Also, we had only 1 small hand towel, only bath towel size. Otherwise, all was perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this condo for 2020 but could not travel due to the pandemic. It was wonderful to be back to Land's End. We have stayed in several units over the years, and this one was one of the best we've experienced. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and the view is fantastic. Noise from the late night tennis players was an issue, however. We had a problem with a broken disposal upon arrival, but it was promptly fixed. Kitchen sink was dirty when we arrived (likely because the sink wasn't draining with the disposal broken).

Great quiet place to stay, close to everything.

We loved the area and quiet beach. In another pretty old review, the person stated the freezer did not work, well it still in NOT working. Looks like it tries to make ice all over the freezer, it is so frosty you can hardly open it. The condo was very comfortable. We also enjoyed putting together the puzzles the owners supplied. Beautiful sunsets and loved being on the Gulf!!! I would highly recommend being on the water. Would definitely stay again. Beware of the extra charge at booking. When you ask for a quote on the website, it is not the true amount. Add at least another $300 which I believe is alot.

Can't get enough of the view!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here multiple times and it never disappoints, so peaceful, so enjoyable for our family. We love being on the balcony, seeing dolphins, manatee and all other creatures. My only complaint is always the sheets. The fitted sheet never stays on! This time, we brought our own. :) Had a problem with the A/C. It got fixed quickly. Also, would be great if the owners would make a favorites list or recommendation for dining, sometimes we are looking for a new place. Overall, fantastic!

Treasure Island VRBO

The condo was amazing. A bit dated but did not care. We did find a few dishes that were not cleaned fully. I mentioned it to the management. We also were not able to access our WiFi, so we used the neighbor's WiFi while they were not home which worked fine. At least they had a plan B. The air conditioning worked great, all appliances worked fine and it was very comfortable. The guys working the front gate, Scott, John and others were also great with a great sense of humor. The pool was great too. However, on the HOT days, it was a bit warm, could have been about 10+ degrees cooler, but still very clean and nice. All in all it was a great time away and would do it at this place again. Thank you.

Great Week and a Great Location

Reviewer Comments: Our party of 4 spent a week at Land's End, literally on a dead end with ocean front views on Treasure Island(there is a front yard with a walking path between the condo and the ocean). After picking up our keys at the rental office, we drove to the complex entrance, where we were charged a one-time $30 entrance fee, which we either overlooked in the small print, or were not informed of. Unexpected charges are never appreciated, the main reason for 4 stars instead of 5. However, we were all very happy with the unit--it was very clean and nicely furnished. A little more in paper goods is recommended, as we were out of TP and paper towels half way through the week. However, it was well equipped with kitchen equipment, beach chairs, linen, etc.Outside, there was a wooden walkway all around the building and along the canal side, and in front was the ocean, loaded with pretty shells. Overall, we really loved it, and would definitely go again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is very nicely furnished and it was clean. This is the second time we rented this apartment in 4 years. We had forgotten how terrible the mattress in the master bedroom was. It is not only soft, it is lumpy. My husband had to sleep in the twin bed, and I came home very sleep deprived. Mattresses usually do not bother me, but this mattress is terrible. I also think the apartment must have a dog in it at times,because I had an allergic reaction to something during my stay in the apartment. We will not stay in this unit again unless the mattress is replaced. I will also inquire about a dog being in the apartment. If not for the mattress and the allergy, this apartment is wonderful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was wonderful. The location, buildings, beach were amazing. We rented two apartments since our immediate family consists of seven adults and one child. Apt. 305 was excellent - updated bathrooms and beachy furnishings. Apt. 204 was not. Furniture is Ikea modern, but comfortable. Bathrooms are black slate top to bottom, very dark and uncomfortable countertop and sink (master bathroom). Kitchen cooking utensils, pots, etc. were not in good condition and drawers had crumbs, etc. Not appealing! However, there were plenty of plates and glasses. Fortunately we had the two apartments and did most of our eating in the other one. The only negative of the rental process is having to pick up keys at another location. It's a hassle having to drive to different places because you also need to go to grocery store. You end up losing pretty much your arrival day. It would be so much easier to have the packets already at the condo office. But we will definitely be back. Overall, a very nice vacation.

Insect Problem at Lands End

Reviewer Comments: Flies/bugs around the pool were intolerable--thank God the weather permitted us to spend about 90% of the time at the beach. Have been staying on treasure island for a little over 30 years--this year first year with a really bad insect problem. We would only consider Lans End again if we were firstly assured that the insect problem had been satisfactorily dealt with. Many other guests had the same problem----killing about 300 insects per hour until forced to leave.
