We are sad to see your rating, thank you for your feedback. I can see that you contacted us with the sink drainage and advising that you could not locate the Roku stick. Had you spoken with our property manager in resort, he could have dropped some washcloths and dish towels off for you, had he been aware. We are glad you enjoyed the location.

Thank you for your feedback, although it is both surprising and disappointing given that no concerns were raised during your stay. We are always available to address any issues in real time, yet you chose not to contact us about any of the points mentioned, which makes it difficult to view this as an accurate reflection of your experience and more sour grapes then anything else. With regard to your comments on “privacy concerns,” the requirements you reference are clearly stated multiple times prior to booking and again during the check-out process on VRBO, where guests must actively confirm they have read and agreed to the house rules. These include the refundable $500 damage deposit for stays of four nights or fewer which is only put in place to discourage parties in our homes , ID verification, and submission of a guest list. None of this is hidden or unexpected. The ID verification process is handled securely through a reputable third-party provider, Guest Ranger, which is widely used within the short-term rental industry. Suggesting that this is unsafe or illegitimate is simply incorrect. These measures are in place to protect both guests and property owners and are standard practice across many professionally managed holiday rentals. Similarly, requesting the names of all guests staying in the property is a basic and common requirement, not an unusual demand. Thank you for your review although I am really surprised. I checked the message history and I cant see you raising any of these issues with me at all during your stay despite me reaching out to you a number of times to see how your stay was going. If you had reached out I could have take a look at some of the issues and put them right for you. The blinds can fall down quite easily at any time but its an easy fix for us and takes seconds to do. I really wish you had communicated with us and not just reviewed the home without giving us a chance to do anything.

Your 3 star review shocks me Daniel as do the comments in the post. We did not offer you a 50% refund at all. Nor was there an issue with the AC. There was an issue with the ac prior to check in and we did not think it would be fixed in time for your stay so gave you the chance to cancel with a full refund or continue with a 50% refund. However, the issues were fixed prior to your check in and the AC was fine , however, you still said you should get the 50% refund!
