I booked this rental mainly because it had a swimming pool indoors that my 6 year old could enjoy. After we got back to the room after an evening out, I let him swim. He wasn’t in the swimming pool 3 minutes when the loudest alarm started sounding off. I one before hand the this would happen if the doors were not closed. However, every door was closed. I called the property management and they told me I should have received a “red key” to turn the sensor off to the pool so that wouldn’t happen. Her exact words were “it should have been in your welcome kit that was hanging on the pool door”. There was no welcome kit hanging on any door nor was there a welcome kit anywhere to be found inside the rental. No instructions on how to disable the alarm either posted anywhere. It was a terrifying experience for my 6 year old. It took me 45 minutes to get him settled down from the loud alarm going off. It went off probably 3 more times after that. After explaining to the rental company how ridiculous it was that there were no instructions posted on how to disable the alarm, and how much of a bad experience it was, they only offered 40 off my total of my stay. (L-O-L). I get that the alarm is a safety thing and was very thankful for that but when you aren’t giving a warning or instructions on how the pool works, it gets very aggravating. Now, my 6 year old is left terrified to get in any pool thinking that “there will be a loud sound” when he does swim. Pitiful customer service. Beware
