Acogedor Sunset Beach Cottage junto al lago y al océano, entorno tranquilo * Wi-Fi *

Esta casa está en una ubicación perfecta. Está literalmente a unos pasos del lago Neacoxie. Está a solo 1/4 de milla a pie de Sunset Beach. Esta playa es genial porque puedes conducir en la playa también es conocida por su increíble temporada de almejas. Muy divertido para adultos y niños. Seaside está a 8 millas por el camino, o la otra dirección es Astoria, que tiene el mejor mercado de los sábados y tiendas increíbles.

La casa fue construida en 1940 y ha sido renovada. Tenemos una familia de 4, y generalmente traemos otra pareja. Parece ser el tamaño perfecto. A mi familia y a mí nos encanta ir allí para volver a conectarnos. ¡Funciona todo el tiempo!

We loved the house, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean and easy to find. We also loved being able to walk to the great cafe down the street and the short trip to the beach. Thanks for the great stay!

This was such a great place to stay! It was right down from the beach! It’s a nice cozy house to come home to after spending your days in Astoria or surrounding areas! Beds were comfy! Had everything we needed and even had some deer visitors while we were there! Definitely somewhere I would stay again if visiting this beautiful state and town!!

Great beach getaway

This cute little cottage was perfect for me and my girls for our family beach getaway to celebrate Independence Day. Even with only one bathroom, we made it work! The owner was very responsive. We plan to stay here again next year!

Sunset Beach Cottage

Very lovely little cottage. I loved the organization and overall decor. Everyone was comfortable. There was a damaged back screen that needed repair but other than that no damage. I thought overall cleanliness good. The address was not on the cottage itself so it was difficult to locate by google maps. You need to locate it by the photo on the site.

home away from home on the Oregon Coast

I have lost count of how many years our family have been coming here. 6? 7? My kids don't want to vacation anywhere else.The house is comfortable and conventially located halfway between Astoria and Seaside, as well as being on a quiet street that's a walkable distance or short drive from Sunset Beach. In the morning, you can turn on the cofee pot, take the short walk to the bakery, and then come back to enjoy your coffee and pastry while watching the deer out the window.

Overall, a great stay. We would do it again. It was very relaxing and peaceful. We loved being near the beach and local trails. The only concern we had was the internet stoppage near the last 2 days of our 16-day stay. It would be good to know in advance that internet bandwidth is limited. Had we known, we wouldn’t have watched so much Netflix.

Large home near the beach

With three bedrooms and 6 total beds, there is plenty of space for everyone. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located near an awesome bakery. The house is stocked with everything you need (except there was no soap for the shower-bring your own). Everything was great from check in to check out, however, the Cadet heating units in the main living room didn't work. the bedrooms were fine, and we weren't in the house except to sleep, so it didn't matter much. We visited in Feb, so didn't access the beach..

Delightful Small House

It was easy to find, "check-in" and get settled in. Everything you need for a vacation is on property. There is a full kitchen in which my family cooked Christmas dinner. We were able to make do with the numerous pots, pans, and baking sheets. There is only one bathroom but as long as your family knows how to share it isn't a problem. Plenty of sleeping space for the three of us amongst the three rooms. There is a bookshelf in the big bedroom, and games in the closet. The cable and internet worked well.Better than all that, you are a block from a cute lake and a short drive (we walked it the first time) to the ocean. The walk wasn't bad if you are used to walking the distance. It's close enough to Fred Meyer's, Costco, and Wal-Mart to pick up anything you need. Overall, we would happily stay here again.

Property was SO cute! House had everything we needed, so fun to play board games! Close to grocery stores ect. House was clean, beds were comfy and host was great to communicate with. We would love to come back

Close to the beach

The cottage has everything you need for a coastal retreat. We went into Astoria, hiked in Ecola State Park, and enjoyed some of the historic sites in the area. All in all, an great place to call home while you explore the northern Oregon coast.

Such a great place for our family! We love the convenience and space here. Such a great way to enjoy the coast. The lake and little playground nearby as well as easy access to the beach are wonderful. We’d definitely recommend staying here!

Awesome summer vacation

I traveled with 3 adult children and this house was near to perfect for our family's needs, we wanted something close to the beach and a lake for my youngest to fish. The bedrooms were nice, mine and my son's beds were very comfortable however my daughter and her boyfriend, who slept in the master said they didn't care for the mattress. I would recomend another fan or 2, the house gets kinda warm and there were not enough fans for all the bed rooms and living room. Very quite neighborhood just a 2 minute drive to the beautiful beach and super close to grocery stores, local shops and restraunts. The lake is about a block away and didn't look like it had much public access for fishing but we talked to the neighbor who lives right on the lake and she said it was fine for my son to fish there. We stayed up until about 2 am each night just playing the board games at the kitchen table. On our last day there my son fished all day while my daughter, her boyfriend and I hung out at the beach all day flighing kites. We even had a bonfire and watched the sunset right on the beach! Would definatley recommend this rental and also hope to stay here again.

Astoria and seaside trip

It was a cute little cottage house with two queen bed bedrooms, and one bedroom with several bunk beds. The kitchen space was nice and usable, with plenty of towels and dishes and spices. It was easy to cook food, and the beach and a cafe were a short walk away.

Great beach house

We really enjoyed our stay! Just a nice house and property all around, with an easy access to the beach and a nice drive to Astoria and other amenities. I highly recommend it.

I live in Newberg Oregon. I try to retreat to the beach house as much as with growing boys means growing schedules. So finding the time to go is difficult. Since it tends to be unoccupied most of the time, we thought we might as well rent it out. It will help financially, but also hopefully provide a place for memories to be created.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The location is so wonderful. With the beach nearby, the lake steps away. A park a block (if that) down the street that has picnic areas, basketball court volleyball net and a boat ramp. Between the house and the beach there is the Lewis & Clark National Historic park with miles of hiking. If you go early enough in the morning you are sure to see elk. Bald eagles also make appearance. If golf is your thing, then there are plenty of courses in the area to choose from. This area of the beach is less touristy than Seaside, so it is a great place to fly kites, go clamming, have a campfire, or even play baseball!
