Charming Villa is a more than accurate description of this home. The decor and organization were impeccable, and the small added touches throughout made us feel special as guests. Plenty of parking space and the hot tub were added perks as well. The host responded to messages very timely. Will definitely be looking to stay here for future trips to Abilene.

The home was beautiful and all the personal touches were appreciated. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and even had some toys for the grandkids. Easy check in and check out. This was my second stay and again I was completely happy with every aspect of this property. The home is so cute and completely renovated. Comfy beds, modern bathrooms and kitchen, plenty of common space are just a few of the wonderful amenities. The hosts are quick to respond to inquiries and always very pleasant. This is my “go-to” stay in Abilene!

The Johnsons did a wonderful job with there 100 year old house. It was very clean and welcoming. It is very close to the convention center which is where we were all week. I loved the welcome basket and the basic supplies in the house. Great job if ever I have to come back to Abeline I’ll be staying again.

Yes, kitchen is small. They usually are in 100 year old homes but we did the best we could with the space we had to work with! 😃 I feel like the size of the two master bedrooms makes up for the smaller kitchen. Glad you enjoyed your stay! Come back anytime!

We are from Denver Colorado and actually use this home when we visit our daughter and 4 granchildren that live in Abilene! It's so nice to have our own space when we are there! We are grandparents to 8 grandchildren! We love hiking, skiiing, the outdoors, kayaking and spending time with family!

I have ALWAYS loved historic homes and dreamed of one day owning one. Never thought it would be in Abilene Texas though! : ) We were completely drawn to the Sayles Boulevard Neighborhood and fell in love. Our neighbors are so great and the nieghborhood is quiet! It's just the perfect place for relaxing or entertaining our crazy grand kiddos! : )

I think the age and the style of the home make it so unique! I did exensive research when restoring this home and wanting it to save the Spanish charm of our home but add modern amenities! And guests comment constantly and on the decor and how peaceful our home is!
