Ubicado en Palm Island Resort en la costa suroeste del golfo de Florida. No existen puentes o calzadas a la isla, lo que garantiza un ambiente de vacaciones tropicales relajado.
El resort de la isla abarca una porción de dos millas de playas prístinas y privadas en el extremo norte de Palm Island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I spent out honeymoon at Palm Island 1988. We’ve retuned each year since. Our daughter was married on the island November 2017. So this is a special place! My husband passed away last April. Since we brought the grands kids a couple of times in the past, I want to continue making memories at the resort. The house this year was perfect! I’ll request it again for next year’s trip.

Great 3 bedroom house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying on Palm Island for the last 30 years and this is our favorite house. The kitchen is kinda small but the bedrooms and living area are large. Short golf cart ride to beach and walking distance to pool. House was clean on arrival and we took advantage of island time delivery to delivery and put away our groceries we preordered. It was worth every cent not having to go up and down the stairs carrying groceries. Would love to have another outlet under the house to charge golf carts and having an extra trash can outside would be great! but other than that we loved everything!

Great place!

We loved everything about the place - roomy, comfortable, cheerful house and perfectly located (short walk to pool, beach and tennis). Although the island resort is still recovering from hurricane, this place is in great shape - ideal for our family of 5- wish we could have stayed longer. Everything about the rental was very smooth and easy.

Not to "Resort" quality standards

The quality of the house, mold and water marks throughout, furniture, cooking and eating accessories, grill, is only bearable for this reason. It's like a one star motel vs something I would consider "Resort" worthy. Palm Island Mgmt needs to hold it's rental owners to a higher standard.

We stayed by the bay which I was a bit nervous about but the walk to the beach was close and we were right by the pool. We got a golf cart anyway which helped carry the load to the beach since we traveled with littles. The set up of the villa was amazing for two families sharing the house!I read online that you can come before check in and the bell person would take your bags and even your groceries. When we arrived a few hours early, the woman checking us in was very unfriendly and seemed frustrated we were there already. I then asked about our bags but said I really just cared about our groceries getting stored somewhere cool. She made a callTo someone in front of me and on the phone mentioning them being understaffed then told me they would get back to me. They did a couple hours later and our villa was 30 mins early too. This was all great! I was just a bit bothered of how unfriendly she was to people arriving for a trip. I did say to her I understood being understaffed but thatInfo should be removed from their site so no one else is expecting it or doesn’t come prepared with a cooler

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I realize that Palm Island is recovering from Ian. This year out of my 10 coming to the resort has steered me towards other vacation opportunities. First, The mosquitoes were the worst ever. Day and Night. Under the house was unbearable. The furniture in the house is terrible. Couches has sheets of plyboard under the cushions. My kids and I love to fish. I see you have opened the point to the public and fishing along the beach was a challenge with all of the boats up on the beach. When I mentioned it to the staff in Coconuts - They told me ya... Things have changed. Private cars for owners? Not the Palm Island I used to know. I give the old owner 5 stars. I'm not sure who the new owner is, but you certainly can feel the lack of pride in their ownership. Two cars at the resort for an 8 person stay? 4 Ferry boat passes for a seven day stay? I will not be recommending Palm Island to anyone at this time. I'm hoping you can step back and evaluate your services.

Great to be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic stay over Memorial Day weekend. I've been visiting since I was a child in the 90s, and last visited December 2021, so I was so relieved to see the island in such great shape after Hurricane Ian. We originally booked a beachfront condo, but were moved to this home instead which worked just fine. More than enough space for four, and it was nice to not have any downstairs neighbors since we have two little kids who are not light-footed. The pool nearest the home was awesome and looked to be recently renovated with bathrooms, lots of seating, and an icemaker. Can't wait to go back, but probably will opt for a beachfront condo purely for the convenience of walking right onto the beach.

The location of the property was perfect for us, we were there for a wedding and this was right in the middle of where the wedding and reception locations. Due to the hurricane last fall, we understand that things were being repaired/painted/updated and were fine with that. Our only issue was the amount of dog hair on the sides of the couch/loveseat. It was nice to have a regular coffee pot, however for quick and convenience, a keurig would have been nice as well. We will still definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a nice large house for a family (there were only 2 of us).

Family Time at Palm Island June 2022

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has been going to Palm Island for beach vacations since 1990. We love Palm Island! We have always rented condos on the beach side for our stay. This is the first time we stayed in a house on the island. It was nice that we could all be together but not being on the beach and having the view of the beach is something we missed very much. This house is nice and spacious but not in great shape. The grill on the back porch area was very dirty and moldy. The outdoor furniture on the back porch was also very dirty and moldy. The front stairs had a number of broken steps, nails sticking up and wood sticking up with lots of splinters. There was mold around most of the AC ducts and the bathtub in the upstairs bathroom would not plug up. I would not rent this house again unless I knew there were a lot of things taken care of.We will return to Palm Island, but will stay in the condos on the beach side. The house could use a good clean up

Wonderful Time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first vacation with our child since she was born. It was absolutely amazing. The view from this home was stunning, especially at sunset. The distance to walk to the beach was a bit much for our two year old but renting a golf cart from the resort took quick care of that. The house was very welcoming with stuffed animals, toys for the beach, and games for the family. We did notice that the boards to several stairs going up to the house need fixed as there were very loose and there were a few sharp edges in the fridge where drawers had been broken. It also did take us a minute to figure out how to get hot water. Some of the faucets are switched so once we figured that out there were no issues. Overall this was a wonderful stay and we definitely plan on coming back for years into the future.

All in all it was a great trip, I haven't spend that much time with my boys since last year. Two concerns- one the couches are outdated and difficult to sit in. The second concern was a rodent that lived in the grill. At first I thought it was just hiding out from the rain. Then I realized that it was his home. It was uncomfortable to say the least. We like to cook and half our meals were prepared on the grill. I still don't understand the two car policy. We are renting a 8 person house for 8 days. No way are you going to fit 8 people in two cars with language and food for the week. I see that you invested in anew cable network. Unfortunately it does not have reqular cable.

In need of repairs...

Mold and water damage are visible as well as cracking tile (trip hazard) and peeling wallpaper. The unit also lacked a pot holder which is a first for me in the over 20 times I’ve stayed at PIR. The top decks are covered in industrial roofing material. In the morning or after rain it’s is like walking on ice. My 66 year old father and 5 year old daughter both slipped so hard they bruised their backs. Also rented a golf cart during the initial reservation. She suggested it and being that I’m familiar with the island and knew we would need one I said yes we want one. When the email came through to confirm I just clicked yes since we literally just spoke and I thought I could trust the people I’ve been doing business with for so long. Upon arrival they failed to reserve my cart. They had plenty available, so no problem there, but how they handled it in the office was less than professional. The lady up front boldly accused me of not reviewing the contract (which I admitted I didn’t do) and waived any liability or wrongdoing. Shame on her for making me feel bad for their mistake. Never have been treated this way here and we’re considering looking at other vacation locations in the future.

A great vacation!

The cushions in the living room and front porch need replaced.The front stairs should be replaced. Island getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our time on the island was relaxing. We were not able to enjoy beach due to red tide which we called first and were told it wasn’t bad. It was horrible! House was spacious but does need some upgrading and cleaning. Not sure if it actually gets cleaned or not. Ants were a problem but it’s Florida and bugs are an issue in summer months. Everyone in the resort was friendly and seemed to love working there.
