Welcome to Lake Cottage in Chapin, located only 10 minutes from downtown Chapin. This charming lakefront retreat has been recently renovated with a private dock, beach, kayaks, paddle board, and fire pit. It is located in a quiet cove that is conveniently located to access all parts of the lake. You can enjoy this cozy cottage that has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living space, and large deck. Bring your boat and enjoy a wonderful day of fishing or cruising around the beautiful lake.

As pet owners ourselves, we love providing you a place to bring dogs that are part of the family. Please include pets when adding your number of guests and pay the $100 pet fee when booking. If you do not and we find that there have been pets in the home, we will be forced to charge additional fees.

We loved everything about our stay. It was well equipped with the basics, plus some! Clean and well kept property on a quiet road with plenty of space to relax. Loved being able to use the kayaks and canoes as well as the grill. Hope to be able to come back again in the fall!

Very nice little lake house, in a very quiet cove with friendly neighbors. Easy accessible dock with sandy beach area, and couple nice kayaks and paddle board.

Relaxing chill weekend

We loved the location and made use of a kayak to explore the lake. It was peaceful and enjoyed meeting people in the area. We ate at the restaurants recommended by the owners and enjoyed them!

We stayed for a girls weekend- two friends from elementary school! Wonderful place- close to Chapin, perfect lake vibe. Peaceful with the best neighbors who were very friendly and made us feel like we were home! We used the sandy beach, kayaks and paddle board. Enjoyed the fire pit and the deck! Thinking about bringing my family back!! Clean and comfortable!

The property was a perfect home base for a fishiing trip for two brothers. It was clean and well furnished. The dock and beachfront are quite nice. We were able to have our fishing guide pick us up right off the dock. The neighborhood is super quiet. Restaurants and groceries are nearby in the town of Chapin. Lake Murray is just beautiful. This house is in a quiet cove only a few minutes off of the main channel. See pics of our results.

Perfect little getaway

This cozy little house was the perfect place to relax. The house was beautifully decorated and clean with the perfect amount of actuvities to keep everyone busy and happy. The owner even let us extend our stay an hour or so bc we just weren't ready to leave we typically rent a different house every year, but this will always be our first pick now!

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for our anniversary. The cottage is adorable and plenty of space had we had more people. Very clean. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had all the essentials we needed. The lakefront view was incredible and we were able to get out on the paddle boards. Quite neighborhood but close to restaurants and grocery if needed. We would definitely stay again!! Thank you!!

The place was very comfortable clean and welcoming. The kitchen was stocked with all our needs for preparing meals and the bathroom had all the amenities including a blow drier. We had came down for a quick weekend to have Christmas with our son and his family. We didnt have a tree so i quickly decorated a little fake olive tree thst was in the corner to put their presents under. The babies loved it and it brought a little Christmas glow to the house. We did have an issue with the entry code when returning from dinner, I am sure it was too many attempts entering the wrong code on our part, however we received an immediate call from the host to help us out.

Nice property and well stocked. Nice location and dock was sufficient for our 22ft boat. Only issue was the property did not have a washer and dryer and I didn't realize that while booking. Other than that the property was advertised and owners went out of their way to help with recommendations. Thank you so much for letting us stay

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful Lake Murray home! The location couldn’t have been better and we spent so much time enjoying the private dock and beach. Our kids especially loved making fires in the firepit each evening and roasting s’mores, which became a nightly tradition. We also had fun using the paddle board and relaxing on the back deck, grilling dinners and playing card games as the sun set. Our golden retriever equally loved it.Inside, the home was just as inviting. The lake-themed decor created such a cozy, relaxing atmosphere, and the motorized shades on the upper windows were a lovely touch. We also really appreciated how well-stocked everything was—there were extra coffee pods, spices, travel-sized toiletries, and more. It made our stay so comfortable and convenient.The owner was a pleasure to work with, always responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and truly didn’t want to leave. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Chapin Family Vacation

This location and property were perfect for our family! Just the right size for a family of four (all adults) ... living space was adequate, awesome outdoor amenities! The paddle board and two kayaks were well used by our family ... the dock was a great added benefit as we rented a boat and the rental place brought the boat to us ... saved a ton of commute time! Everything was very clean! There were great added touches of linens/bed sheets/towels (of all sizes)/kitchen hand towels/spices/paper towels/trash bags/tinfoil/baggies. There was an ice maker and ample refrigerator space. The deck had a nice table/chairs and great umbrella. There were 2 lounge chairs to be used down by the beach and several other chairs. All in all, great communication, clean house, accommodating amenities, ample living space and parking. Would definitely recommend this property to others!

Full kitchen with utensils for eating and indoor and outdoor cooking (pots, pans, knives, spatulas) as well as some seasonings in the pantry. Bathroom had plenty of body wash, hair products and paper products with towels and wash cloths. Very clean inside and out with lots of entertainment inside and out. Our host Leilany was very helpful and quick with responding to any questions or requests.
