Perfect for our family reunion guests! Next reunion I do hope we can rent a second house adjacent to the lake rather than the one we were able to rent on Carolina Ave. We wanted to be much closer together. NIce to meet you and your son as we were packing up to depart.

A Charming Family Getaway - Almost Perfect!We had a delightful stay at this lovely property! From the moment we arrived, Clint’s responsiveness stood out, he was quick to help with any questions and made check-in seamless, which we really appreciated.The house was wonderfully stocked especially with towels! It was such a thoughtful touch to have plenty of fresh towels on hand, making the stay effortlessly comfortable for our family.While the weather wasn’t flawless during our visit, it didn’t dampen our spirits one bit. The serene pond and covered dock became our favorite rainy-day retreat, and the pool table provided hours of fun indoors. On sunnier stretches, the outdoor pool and lounging area were absolute highlights, perfect for relaxing or splashing around together.If there’s one thing that could elevate this getaway from excellent to absolutely perfect, it would be the addition of an outdoor hot tub. Imagine unwinding in warm bubbles overlooking the pond, pure bliss.All in all, this place is a charming, well-appointed retreat that made our family vacation truly memorable. With just a small upgrade…a hot tub would become the ultimate family retreat. Highly recommended!

The pool was magnificent plenty of sun and towels to go around. Master bedroom was good with a walk-in shower and a walk-in closet basement left a little to be desired.

Enjoyable family vacation spot

Nice location. Pool was fun for all. There's no hot tub as listed in amenities. Only issue we had was upstairs bedroom got very warm from afternoon sun beating in the windows. Some insulated drapes would greatly help. Felt private from neighbors and nice view from porch of the pool and pond. Good for families.

Charming Spacious Home With Pool!

Large home that was perfect for our Graduation celebration. Plenty of bedrooms for our out of town guests and the pool was a def plus as was the lake which was great for kayaking and fishing. This is a pet friendly home but beware of ticks and fleas which ravaged our fur babies. One other note…there was someone living on the property (literally a few feet from the entrance of the home) Maybe a property manager or hosts not sure. It felt a little creepy honestly. All in all beautiful home and our family and friends enjoyed the property and all it had to offer. I would definitely recommend it!

High Point University Graduation

We wanted a big house with a swimming pool and nice outdoor shelter if it rained to enjoy time with family and friends who joined us to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. This place was perfect. We recommend it anyone who wants time to rest, enjoy a beautiful property and have fun with family.

Perfect for our wedding weekend!

We decided to rent this house for our out of town wedding party during our wedding weekend. Everyone was so impressed! The location was perfect and the yard was beautiful. The beds were all around comfortable and there was so much space for everyone to hang out and relax. It was also great to have plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We really enjoyed our weekend here.

Christmas family trip

We had a wonderful time during our trip. The house is very spacious with a beautiful view of the lake and pool. Clint was very nice and accommodating. Would love to see what it looks like in the spring when everything is in bloom.

Awesome Property

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving retreat with our family! The property is gorgeous. We really enjoyed walking around the property and viewing the beautiful ornamental trees, and landscape! Although it’s fall, we could just imagine a wonderful family vacation here in the summer with the beautiful pool!

Cool property, extremely out dated.

Just as it says. The house is nice and could be great. But its clearly been used as a rental and not cared after for years. Many broken tiles in backrooms. Cabinets falling off hinges, paint peeling off walls, many lights not working, paint dissolving around pool causing slik spot. Also one of the king rooms is in the basement with the bunkbeds. Normally not as issue but there is clearly a small water leak making it very musty and Im sure moldy. For Thuraday - Sunday costing $2500 is exissive for the property. If it was cleaned up and updated it would absolutely would be worth it. Definitely would not come back till its updated.

Heart of Burlington

A quiet oasis in the heart of Burlington - close to everything - but feels secluded. The home has what you need to support a large group to include a few nice amenities like a pool table and pool/patio area. Nice bedrooms/beds/linens and plenty of parking.

Relaxing location

Lovely property that shares secluded grounds and pond with four other rental houses. It is a short drive to the business district. It was too cool to use the pool, but we enjoyed sitting on the outside patio, in the sunroom, and barbecuing. Young adults enjoyed kayaking. All appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, AC/heater [separate controls for the main floor and upstairs]) and lights worked great, but generally, the furniture was old/worn. The kitchen was large, modern, and well-equipped. The beds on the main floor and one upstairs were very high, so elderly guests especially needed a stepstool to get onto. Overall, it is a very relaxing place.

Family Getaway

The accommodations were well suited for our family. We really enjoyed the pool and the pond was good outlet for fishing and kayaking. We had to call our host several times to correct several issues. On the down side the home is in need of some upgrades. The lower level could use some remodeling with some furniture for those using it. Only one TV. A number of light bulbs needed replacing and the dryer was not working. Blinds and drapes were missing or in need of repair. Pool furniture shows its age and needs to be addressed. Bedrooms on the upper and main level were good but the lower level was not the best. When I go on vacation I expect my destination to be as good or better than my home. This was not!

Has great potential…

Overall we had a great stay, house had more than enough room for our group (7 adults, 4 teens/preteens, dogs) but it’s an older home that needs some general maintenance and updates. AC was difficult to maintain, multiple lights out, furniture was generally comfortable but old/worn, etc. Beautiful property, feels secluded while still being close to shops/restaurants but note that there are 3 other rental houses on the property so it’s not completely private. Pool was great but it would be nice if the bathroom in the pool house area was functioning. Kids loved fishing in the pond.

Comfortable and spacious

The property was very comfortable and clean. We were a group of 11 and there was plenty of space, with large bedrooms and general living areas. The outdoor pool area, overlooking a lake was the perfect place to relax late in the day. And the hosts were very responsive. Excellent stay.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Got off to a bumpy start when we arrived and the house had not been cleaned, dirty laundry and unmade beds from the last guest. Emailed owners. Clint arrived with clean bed linens, made the beds and took all of the dirty laundry to wash. He said he didnt know we were coming that day. Bought us dinner for our troubles and said he would bring clean bath linens back the next day. The house was big and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and playing pool. My grandson enjoyed the pool but it was to cold for us due to the time of the year. Had a very nice time and glad the property was pet friendly so our fur babies went also.

Rebecca, a native of Toledo, Ohio, moved to NC to attend Greensboro College. She teaches high school children with Autism and enjoys helping Clint pick flowers.
