Salty Breeze Bungalow: located near beaches, downtown, coliseum, riverfront park

Adorable, fully renovated 1940s cottage that is centrally located near everything the charleston area has to offer. 2 bedrooms furnished with 2 king beds and each with their own closets. Separate office/nook area is furnished with a desk, twin day bed, smart TV flat screen, and small bar area overlooking the kitchen. Kitchen comes fully equipped with: microwave, full size fridge,ice maker, oven. keurig (can make full pot or single cups), and all cookware. The living room has a flat screen TV, plenty of space, and a large comfy couch ( pullout) - allowing guests up to 4 separate sleeping areas, if they choose. High speed WiFi. Fully fenced Back yard. Front porch and side patio both with seating areas. Exterior protected by video system monitoring for added assurance.


LOCATION:
Our boutique bungalow is convienentely located minutes from trident, Boeing, MUSC, st francis hospital and roper hospital, Charleston southern university, the airbase, North Charleston coliseum, tanger outlets, park circle, riverfrontt park, firefly museum, college of Charleston, SC aquarium, Top Golf, and performing arts center. 7 min drive to the heart of downtown Charleston - and even less to the North Charleston amenities. You can choose your beach- cottage is centrally located between all of them! Each beach is 30 min, or less, to Sullivan’s island, isle of palms, or folly beach! 5-10min drive to the airport. ENJOY!


Handicap friendly property with no steps once inside the home, wide entrances, bathroom accommodations, great parking, and portable ramp can be made available to navigate the few steps to get inside the cottage. Pets considered on a case by case basis.

The bungalow was perfect for us - clean, organized and convenient location. We were there 2 weeks visitng our granddaughter and her husband having this space allowed me to cook special meals for them and spend special times together Jessica is one of the best hosts we have had - excellent and prompt communication and just a kind, caring soul. We stayed to attend The Riverfest music festival. It rained the entire time so we spent one day, hanging out, playing cribbage and watching movies. Very comfortable! Will visit again.

Excellent house! We enjoyed the king size beds which were super comfortable. Perfect location - it’s a close drive to anywhere you want to go in Charleston / Stadium / Folly - which is where we visited during our stay. Communication is top notch with Jessica. She’s fantastic to work with. Only complaint we had which is not a huge complaint was we wish the yard had been cut and there was a huge fire ant area near the back door / driveway area so we didn’t use the back door but wasn’t super worried. We will absolutely stay at this location again!

Great place outside of Charleston!

We came into town for a bachelorette trip and had the best time staying at this property. It had plenty of space for all of us and was in a great location off the highway for a quick drive to the beach or downtown. Would defiantly stay again!

The house had everything we needed for our stay. The host was accessible and easy to work with. I usually take extra towels and wash cloths that is definitely not needed for this one. There were plenty. Very cute and comfortable house. Highly recommend!

This was a girls trip! It was my 29 year old daughter, 90 year old mother and myself. We all loved our stay here. If we go back to Charleston, we will definitely be staying here again! The hostess was very friendly and courteous! Thanks a bunch Jessica!

Amazing stay

I was very happy with the stay. It was just as the pictures showed. I was also impressed by the little doggie treats and toys left for those who bring their fur babies. There were even games for families to play. I’ve never had that at any rental before. What a nice treat! Jessica was very responsive and very kind! Definitely recommend this place!

Great Little House w/ secure fence for Dogs

Well maintain home, with everything you need. Fenced in yard for Kids & Dogs. Easy access to downtown. Will stay here again when we come back to visit. We were here for a wedding and didn't have much time.

Great little bungalow!

This is a great house! It was very well appointed and the owner is very communicative. Every little detail was thought out. It felt like home. It is stocked with all the essentials such as laundry pods, clorox wipes, trash bags etc. It was very clean and perfect for our family. The owner even left us a puppy pack full of everything we needed for our dogs and some snacks and candy. She went above and beyond!

Very pleased!

We had medical appointments in Charleston and needed a relatively close rental so we could have a kitchen. This rental was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The property owner was very accommodating and responsive. The home is small but that was expected and not a problem for the 2 of us. The neighborhood has several homes being renovated and some homes were in need of attention. The location was convenient for us. We will stay here again.

This was a perfect little property for what we needed. We stayed here for a wedding and the host was very helpful to have things out that we needed for your one year old. Unfortunately we got charged an additional 50 after the fact with no explanation and I am no longer able to contact the host.

I have loved living in the area nearly 30 years and am eager for others to discover Charleston. I continue to work locally at our non profit hospital system, where I get the opportunity to serve others in a different facet.

I love this neighborhood. It has so much character and charm. Reflects the true culture of the locals. It’s a rapidly transitioning neighborhood full of friendly locals. Many cottages were built in WW2 so the young stationed service men could live near the base. About half (like salty breeze bungalow) have been renovated and breathed new life into the home and neighborhood

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Adorable cottage that has the bones and charm from being built in 1940 but fully updated with all we need to live comfortably. Still has original hardwood floors. So much fun to stay in and centrally located! it is in a perfect spot to easily travel to everything the area has to offer
