Orchard Cottage fue restaurado hace un par de años a un nivel muy alto. Está decorado en tonos otoñales calmantes con camas muy cómodas y un montón de antigüedades y obras de arte de origen local. Se sienta en una finca de la familia 20+ acres que respalda a la salvaje y virgen Roxbury Montaña. Nuestra casa de la familia principal y casa se sientan más arriba en la colina se ofrezcan con total privacidad.

Holiday Ski Trip

We had the best time staying in the Mad River Valley. Great location. Close to ski resorts and close enough for a day trip up to Waterbury and Stowe.

Wonderful stay

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Orchard Cottage. It was a beautiful time of year to be in Vermont, with a lot of nearby activities and hikes. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful, historic home in an equally beautiful setting.

Fantastic, beautifully preserved and renewed old home for those who love historic homes. Great location. Stayed in winter, would love to revisit in the summer.

Lovely and cosy

We rented this house in february for a family ski trip and we enjoyed it very much. It is a beautifully restored house and is at a 15 min drive from Sugar Bush resort.

The Orchard Cottage was a wonderful respite in the snowy woods of Vermont

A great home with good access for two excellent days at MRG and fine restaurants. The only problem was not wanting to leave the fireplace at Orchard Cottage!

Family get away

Wonderful Winter stay

We had a great post Christmas stay at Orchard Cottage. The cottage was even more quaint in person, with everything we needed for our stay. The high quality bedding and linens made for a cozy stay. Great Week

We were very comfortable at Orchard Cottage. Great beds and shower. The area was friendly and lots of fun. Spent lots of time on the beautiful porch when we weren’t hiking and exploring. Would love to return another time.

Cozy ski season stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property during the holiday ski season. It provided clean and ample space for our family of two adults and two children. The location allowed easy access to Sugarbush and Waitsfield. Having the East Warren Community Market down the road was very convenient. Our kids enjoyed playing in the open yard space.

Charming Antique Home

We loved our stay in this beautifully restored antique house. The beamed ceiling and the antique floors along with lots of windows made a day sitting by the fire while it snowed outside positively delightful. The lovely mountain road where the house is located were ideal for an enjoyable walk in the snow. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and of course great skiing at Sugarbush just 20 minutes away.

Cozy cottage

Beautiful home, great location. Beds were very comfortable, very clean, well stocked kitchen. Shower was awesome! Very charming and nicely updated. Our only complaints would be that it would have been nice to have a little larger of a tv, and the cleaning fee was a bit high considering we were required to take sheets off the beds, wash the towels, run the dishwasher, and take out the garbage.

Perfect weekend vacation

Heidi's house was even better than it looked in the pictures - warm, cozy, and clean. It felt like an old farm house but but had all the important updates in the bathrooms and kitchen. The views and scenery are beautiful, and we loved everything about our weekend. My kids (ages 10,8,5) loved the house too, but I wouldn't recommend it for toddlers - the stairs are very steep.

Beatiful sunsets!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Cottage. When we arrived we found the house spotless and lights were on to welcome us. The cottage is very well maintained and decorated with beautiful antiques. My favorite part of the house is the oversized and well-stocked kitchen, the large bathroom with extra soft towels and the views of the sunset in the evening. Easy drive to Sugarbush. When reading a few reviews, I was a little nervous how the road would be, but relative to other dirt roads in the Mad River Valley, this was easy. This is by far, my favorite house I have rented in the Valley (and I've rented many). Hope to be back!

Beautiful Retreat

We stayed at Orchard Cottage with our three children for a long weekend in October and we had a wonderful time. The house has been beautifully remodeled and nothing has been overlooked. The kitchen is well equipped and we took delight in cooking with local organic produce. We also found a good selection of ready-made healthy and vegan meals in the Community Store. When the sun was out, we embarked on one of many hiking trails in Warren Village, around the Appalachian and Lincoln Gap; rummaged in quaint villages shops and enjoyed good restaurants and even natural food stores. Thank you to the extremely resourceful owner! We are looking forward to come back and enjoy winter activities.

Perfect Home Base To Exolore Mad River Valley

My friend and I stayed here for several days and we were so happy we chose this as our home base The home and property are just beautiful! As many reviews have said, the home is even more lovely in person (which is hard to imagine!) and it has all the amenities one could ask for. The morning coffee on the deck with a gorgeous view was the perfect way to start our day. Waitsfield and Warren are so close and very charming towns. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Hiking, biking, swimming, tasty cheeses, maple creemee at Canteen Creemee, great farm stands, local markets (so close!!) wonderful restaurants, pottery, glass art and so much more… We had so much fun exploring and then coming back to our lovely, comfortable home base. I plan to return here with my family. Thank you!

Having originally purchased the main house next door, we jumped at the chance to buy Orchard Cottage when it became available. With a growing family, we needed space for all of our friends and family to congregate during the holidays. We live overseas but visit several times a year to ski, play in the Mad River, hike in the Green Mountains and be at peace in this really beautiful spot.

Orchard Cottage is nestled into a ridge on Roxbury Mountain in the middle of the Green Mountains. Set below the main house beyond the apple treehouse and the orchard. It has it's own driveway and is completely private.

This cottage would be perfect for a small family or a couple looking for a unique Vermont getaway. The setting is very peaceful and romantic and the furnishings extremely luxurious. Whether you plan an active break taking advantage of all that the valley has to offer or you are seeking a cozy retreat to relax and watch the foliage change or the wild turkeys and deer roaming through the orchard, Orchard Cottage can supply all of that!

Old Roxbury Road is a private road and a 4WD is a must even though it is plowed continually throughout the winter.
