Make some forever memories at this unique and family-friendly place!
Nestled on an acre of oak and cypress forest, The Magic Wilderness Cabin evokes the timeless beauty of early Florida lake life with a whimsical nod to it's original beginnings at a world famous theme park.
The Magic Wilderness Cabin welcomes you to delight in the quiet nature of beautiful Lake Harris and the Harris chain while watching the sunset over the the scenic shores of the lake from our private dock.

The Magic Wilderness Cabin started it's life located in Walt Disney World's Ft. Wilderness Campground as Cabin 2306. You can actually see the exact location it was at on a map of the campground we have posted inside. We moved it to it's current location in the spring of 2024 and christened the property "Magic Wilderness National Forest" complete with a Certified Wildlife Habitat designation.
We hope you enjoy your Adventure in the Magic Wilderness Cabin!

Absolutely magical time at the cabin. We brought our pup Walter too to celebrate our first anniversary and it was simply stunning! What a find - we will definitely be back. Everything was wonderful, the setting is idyllic and we have been able to fully relax with everything there that you could think of being provided.We’ve had the perfect time - thanks so much!

We were so happy to stay at this beautiful, cute, quaint, little cabin. It really was a perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We always stay in Mount Dora, but now we would definitely be including this place to our yearly anniversary tradition of trips. Thank you again for allowing us to stay here. I hope we can come back and make so many more memories!

The yard and cabin itself was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. The minute we pulled up, we were so happy to have chosen this cabin for our stay. The view of Lake Harris couldn’t get any better from the back yard! The inside of the cabin reflected the outside, very neat, clean, cozy, and well stocked. You felt at home and comfortable. The gift basket for the kids and our pup was also a nice touch of hospitality. The kitchen was fully stocked and had cooking utensils, a microwave, a fridge, and a small stove top for cooking. As well as a grill outside. And we were lucky enough to have met and chatted with Melanie and Bob (the hosts) who were beyond courteous and willing to help with any issues or questions. We also brought our boat and were able to park it on the lot next door to our cabin which was super safe, secure, and easy to get in and out of. 10/10! We will be back in April for my son’s next fishing tournament!

Amazing Lake Cabin definitely magical!!!

The cabin was amazing!!! Everything you need is right there. If you don’t want to leave you don’t have too plenty of DoorDash and Uber eats in the area. We loved it so much we stayed an extra day!! The family that owns the property are amazing and accommodating!! We paddle boarded and kayaked the whole time!!! We will definitely be back!!! The photos of the place do not do it justice. It truly is magical.

Girls trip

We stayed here for our annual girls trip. Loved the location and convenience to everything yet it was still secluded enough to feel like we were in the country right on the water! Adorable cabin and very cozy!

Total relaxation

Beautful yard, lake and cabin. Rocking by the lake was so peaceful. My girls loved the tree swing for reading. Can't go wrong with staying here. Simply awesome.

Enchanting

Very comfortable, clean, and beautiful view of the lake. Gazebo has rocking chairs and gas burning fire pit. Just 22 minutes away from the charming town of Mount Dora, full of shops and restaurants and good food. We shall return!

Wilderness Cabin

Myself and 3 teen boys who LOVE to fish stayed in the cabin for 5 nights. We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is cute as can be, sparkling clean, and has everything you need! Beds are comfortable and pull-out bed is great for kids. Everything seemed very thoughtfully done. Nice yard with fire pit an dock. It is exactly as pictured. The only thing that would have made if more perfect was if there were a fishing boat available. We visited from California just for the boys to fish. We all had a great stay!

Fantastic Setting!

Pros: The Magical Wilderness Cabin was so unique with a camping vibe but with the Luxury of a fully equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom. Decor was cabin style and adorable! The view of Lake Harris was fantastic. Loved the water front gazebo !Cons: We only wish we had been able to stay longer
