Escápese a México y encuentre el maravilloso clima durante todo el año en esta espaciosa casa de dos dormitorios y dos ½ baños (sala de polvo en la planta baja), en Ajijic. Esta casa de dos pisos de nueva construcción con todas las comodidades modernas se encuentra en una zona tranquila del pueblo de Ajijic y se encuentra a pocos pasos de muchos de los restaurantes, tiendas y servicios que pueda necesitar durante su estadía. Ingrese a otro mundo mientras pasea por las calles empedradas de este encantador y amigable pueblo mexicano. Disfrute del cálido sol y la vista de las montañas onduladas. Las puestas de sol del lago Chapala no se pueden perder.

El hermoso parque frente al lago y el Malecón (paseo marítimo pavimentado) es el lugar ideal para caminar por la mañana o por la noche. El Malecón está a solo 2 casas y sigue el frente del lago. Allí verá familias disfrutando del parque, gente paseando o paseando a sus perros.

Aunque la casa es de nueva construcción, combina con el Village, ya que tiene grandes paredes con puertas automáticas de privacidad para que ingrese su automóvil. La casa y el patio están bien escondidos detrás de la alta mampostería y las puertas de metal.

La casa tiene un plano de planta abierto, sala de estar, gran mesa de comedor y una maravillosa cocina de estilo norteamericano.

La cocina cuenta con amplios mostradores de granito con taburetes para comer en la cocina. Cuenta con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable que incluyen un refrigerador de lado a lado, máquina de hielo, horno a gas, anafe a gas y microondas. Por supuesto, hay los artículos necesarios para cocinar y servir sus comidas.

La casa tiene un sistema completo de purificación y ablandamiento del agua para que no necesite agua embotellada.

Los grandes ventanales dejan entrar la luz del sol para que pueda disfrutar del maravilloso aire fresco. Hay hermosas vistas de las montañas desde las habitaciones de arriba y el patio trasero desde las habitaciones de abajo.

La casa cuenta con una suite principal King size con un televisor de 40 "montado en la pared y un área de estar. Hay un escritorio grande para su computadora portátil o para maquillarse. Los altos techos y las dos puertas correderas dejan entrar el exterior y le permite disfrutar del maravilloso aire nocturno. Hay un gran armario con vestidor para toda su ropa.

El segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales de alta gama que se pueden juntar para una cama king size. Tiene un televisor de pantalla plana montado en la pared de 32 ". Allí encontrará un escritorio y un gran armario. Tiene una hermosa vista de las montañas a través de la gran ventana arqueada.

This is an exceptional property. Modern, spacious, tastefully decorated,.and great convenient location. Though we chose to eat out most of the time (there are many good restaurants within walking distance) the kitchen is well designed and furnished for good "home cooking". The host Elise and her gentleman husband John are outstanding and were available to answer any questions and assist in any way possible to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you and certainly hope to visit with you again.

Wonderful house and location!

We have stayed at several locations in Ajijic over the years - this was the most modern and had the best location near the malecon and Colon street. A lovely back garden, a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds and lots of space. Especially appreciated the water ultra filtration which eliminated managing heavy water bottles. Thank you Elise and John.

Wonderful Home in Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Elise & John's home (Dec 27 through Jan 3). Communication was great, and the home was as described: wonderful and convenient location (just steps from the malecón and easy access to everything in central Ajijic), comfortable, secure and very spacious. Even though we stayed over the New Year's holiday, while certain noise was to be expected (fireworks, etc.), the house seemed relatively quiet. When returning to Ajijic, we will definitely consider staying here again. Thanks!!

A great place to stay in Ajijic

The rental property is fantastic. From getting in, to communicating with the owner, Elise, to the attention she pays to every detail to its location right next to the Malecon and its closeness to the Lake Chapala society, it is the perfect location for a visit to Ajijic. It was quiet, safe, lighted, and we spent hours walking to various shops and restaurants and Ajijic centro all within 20 minutes or so from the property. It was our first visit to Mexico and immediately, we felt at home with the property and surrounding areas. Thank you Elise for sharing your beautiful home.

SO RELAXING!!!

We definitely needed a "do nothing" vacation and this hit the spot!! Driving in from Guadalajara and finding the house was an absolute breeze. The property was beautiful, quiet, and equipped with anything we needed. It was walking distance to almost anything with the Malecon being 3 houses down! The hosts were very attentive and responsive when we noticed a leak in the RO System and got someone out to fix it right away. In fact, I hate to say too many good things for fear that it will be booked when we want to return!

There are so many good things to say about this property I don’t know where to begin! From the communication with the owner, Elise, who was very responsive from being to end, the beauty of the house to the location on the Malecon my husband and I were very pleased. The town of Ajijic is walkable any direction from the home and the neighborhood was quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable for us and the home amenities made us feel at home. We will rent this place again we come to Ajijic! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This was our first visit to Ajijic and it did not disappoint. A fun three weeks with lots happening This property is perfectly located and within walking distance of everything you might need. The Malecon is at your doorstep and the village square ( where there is always something fun happening) is just around the corner. We had the pleasure of meeting our delightful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they have truly thought of everything. We have never before rented such a well equipped house. We will return

Ajijic on the Malecon

The physical condo was excellent but being close to the malecon was a problem. There was so much noise, shouting, music and drums until wee hours of the morning, causing sleep devprication. If you like noise, this place is for you.

Great location.

Overall the house was great but did get kind of loud with Malecon activities on the weekend… but hearing the church bells daily made up for it 😊. Location was great as far as walkability to town square, restaurants and shopping. Maybe a few scatter rugs would be nice as noises echoed throughout. Nice clean place and well equipped.

The best way to spend our 20 year anniversary!!

I can’t say enough good things about Elise and this property!! The home is beautiful! It is located less than a block away from the Malecon! The AC in the bedroom at night was nice! But having the windows open during the day downstairs was so nice! The comfort of this home made it so easy to rest and relax. We were able to completely escape the stress of our real lives and just enjoy being. The local food is so delicious! The shops are so cute and there are so many different places to see. We absolutely loved it there!! The guidance that Elise gave us to get there was exact and very easy! Also the driver, Luis, was so kind and informative on the area and took us back to the airport. We all talked the entire way and had a great time!! I loved the fresh fruit, the warm bread, the deli, the ceramic shops, the food, the peace and calmness, the sound of birds and the absolutely beautiful flowers and flowering trees! Everything is within walking distance after you get to the property. Everything about this place is beautiful and I cannot wait to come back!! Everyone is so friendly and laid back!! There were no mosquitoes. We learned that we need a firm mattress at home! We slept so well and had zero back pain in the mornings! Make sure you exchange dollars for pesos before you leave the US. You can do it at the airport one you land but you don’t get the current exchange rate. At the time of our trip, the exchange was 20 to 1. We got 16 to 1 at the airport. That is really the only negative we had about the entire trip! We highly recommend staying here for your next vacation. We are definitely coming back!! I’m working on my Spanish!

we enjoyed our stay in this house, it had everything we needed. It really is better than the pictures. We had a car but were able to walk to nearly everything, so it is well located 1/2 block from malecon. Our stay could not have been better,we would stay again.

Great house, great stay in Ajijic

We found the house clean and matched the pictures in the listing. We were very comfortable during our stay. August is the rainy season and there were mosquitos around. The bedroom air conditioners helped at night. Large closets with hangars and dresser drawers. Each room has a desk which is very nice. The kitchen is well stocked. Elise was easy to communicate with. We were all pleased with our time at the house and it's a great location to the Malecon and walking Ajijic. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Charming house, but…

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights. Pros: Lovely, charming house with well-selected decor. Excellent air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms. All the necessities are provided. Good internet. Having a washer / dryer was a plus. Good location. Safe & secure dwelling. Owner helped facilitate getting a driver to and from the airport. Cons: House was unclean upon arrival. Regular housekeeping was scheduled for the next day. It was clear the house had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. For example, we had to clean hair and dried urine from the main bathroom before our use. (Other areas of the house were likewise not clean, including the kitchen counters, floors throughout, washing machine tub, dryer lint trap, etc) King bed desperately needs a new mattress. (It’s the worst I’ve ever been on). Showers have poor water pressure and although instructions were present, they have difficult temperature control. The house needs some sort of mosquito mitigation. While the housekeepers left the front door wide open the entire time they were there, we never had any doors or windows open when we were home. We used generous amounts of mosquito repellant to go outside, however once we had returned home and showered, we became fair game for the mosquitos lurking in the bedroom. My wife got 5 mosquito bites on her back and 3 on her arms in the bedroom over one night. I got 15 bites on my back and arms the next night.

We chose this home because it is new construction with all the modern amenities we have become accustomed to in the US.
Although it is modern, it blends in beautifully with other structures in the Village of Ajijic. Once you go through the gate, the cobblestones on our street in front gives you the feeling that the home has been here a long time.
