Great hosts, comfortable home. There was no one in the other attached unit during our stay so we had the hot tub, grill, and backyard to ourselves which was a nice perk.

We booked the house for a last minute weekend trip with friends and it was exactly as pictured. Plenty of beds for our group. Basic kitchen supplies, towels, etc. The hot tub and firepit were fantastic. There is a second unit attached but it wasn’t occupied so we had the outdoor space to ourselves. Very convenient to get to beach, restaurants and shops in a few minute drive.

Great property and resposive host. We loved how near everything was within walking distance. The town of New Buffalo one of our families favorites. This is was our first time visiting and will be back.

The furnace was not working properly. They brought blankets and 2 space heaters that didn’t work but opened up an adjacent rental room that had a fireplace which adequately heated our unit. The hot tub was excellent!

50’s birthday weekend

Loved everything about this house, the location and the beautiful town that it is in. We were celebrating 2 50-year-old birthdays and the owners/maintenance went up above and beyond decorating up the house for our arrival. We really enjoyed our weekend and the weather was absolutely perfect.

It's in a great location, walking distance to the beach, and a very well-maintained and clean property. The only suggestion for improvement is to ensure the e-bikes are properly maintained—we ultimately didn't feel safe enough to ride them, as one of the bikes had no functioning front brake.

Stayed fir only 2 nights. Place was clean. Owner is very good on communication. It wasn't clear that this home has 2 rental units, so we had another family on the property with. I may have missed these details in the description.

The house was in a great location - only a few minute drive to the beach and downtown. The house didn't appear to have been cleaned for a little while, and we didn't realize that there are actually 2 units. So, we ended up sharing the outside spaces (I.e., jacuzzi, fire pit, grill) with another family staying in the other part of the home. The walls aren't too thick, so if there is someone else staying in the other unit, you will hear them.

Nothing on the listing states that this property has two units. To start we were not able to check in on time. Traveling with a one year old made this very difficult. When we arrived we were immediately hit with the smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke. While unloading we noticed the intake vent holding the HVAC filter was filthy. The filter itself was also filthy. I asked the property manager if we could get a new filter to hopefully help assist with getting the smoke smell out of the unit. After three hours without any communication I finally received a response. In addition to the smoke smell the room across from the bathroom smelled of musty old urine. The floors were filthy and the unit did not smell or look like it had been cleaned. This gave us concern on the bed linen and how clean it was. The hot tub was another issue. It was murky, smelled, had hair, skin, bugs, sand, and bottle caps inside. We were told it would be cleaned but it never was. Our stay was only for three nights and one of those nights was completely ruined due to the state of the unit when we arrived. The entire time the property manager would make promises that she didn’t follow through with. They used this tactic to show that they “were trying to make things better” but they had no intention on making it right. We got one night refunded but it should have been more since we couldn’t use the one amenity advertised. From the smell to mold in the bathroom, this place is a filthy stinky mess.
