The Gathering House is a large Victorian terraced home in Buxton, set within easy walking distance of the Buxton Opera House, Pavilion Gardens and the town centre.
The house comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests across six bedrooms, making it well suited to families, friends, walking groups and small group getaways. Each bedroom has its own TV, allowing guests to enjoy shared time together while still having personal space.
There is a shared lounge, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and two bathrooms, including a walk-in shower. A washing machine, fast Wi-Fi and straightforward facilities make the house practical for both short and longer stays.

I don’t live in Buxton full time, but I fell in love with the area for its access to the outdoors, the energy during peak tourist season, and the character of the architecture.
I’ve lived in different places around the world and stayed in a wide range of hotels, houses and B&Bs, which heavily influenced how I host. As a host, my main aim is that guests arrive and don’t have anything to worry about. Cleanliness is a priority, and I want the house to feel ready, calm and easy to settle into from the moment guests arrive.
I renovated the house myself, focusing on comfort, layout and details that make group stays work well. I’m always happy to help guests with planning or recommendations and enjoy being available if they need support during their stay.
