Sugarloaf Key Open Water Home con playa, muelle, canal

Exuberante casa tropical de aguas abiertas que ofrece todo lo que desea para unas fabulosas vacaciones en Keys. Disfruta de tu propia playa privada con natación, snorkel y pesca en el lado del canal, así como un muelle para tu bote. Luego, puede enjuagarse en una de las dos duchas al aire libre y luego reunirse para tomar un cóctel en la playa o en el patio delantero, rodeado de exuberante vegetación. ¡Incluso puedes disparar aros en la cancha de baloncesto!

El interior cuenta con hermosas vistas desde todas las habitaciones, con una suite principal en la planta superior con vista al agua y balcones, y una suite principal en la planta baja que se abre a la playa. Ambos tienen baños privados. Dos habitaciones más más una sala de juegos con camas convertibles y dos baños más también forman parte del alojamiento. El piso de arriba tiene un plano de planta abierto que consta de una gran cocina totalmente equipada, comedor y espaciosa sala de estar, perfecta para entretenerse y pasar el rato. El gran porche proyectado ofrece una parrilla de gas y comer al aire libre.

Amazing week on Sugarloaf Key!

2 Kayaks to use, plenty of patio furniture with comfortable cushions.Kitchen was fully stocked with any plateware or cooking equipment you could need.Very Cute Beachy theme and each room decorated with different decor.Only small negative was no ice maker in freezer.Thank you for a great time!

Wonderful winter retreat

The property and home are beautiful; it had everything we needed for a wonderful week in the Keys. We enjoyed using the kayaks, bicycles, life jackets and beach toys for my 2 year old grand-daughter. All bedrooms and gathering spaces were great, the kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor space was perfect and having a screened-in porch was enjoyed for coffee and viewing scenery.

Beautiful home!!

We had a wonderful stay. The home is exceptionally clean and well cared for. The floor plan is great with easy access. Waterfront and kayaking !!! Would definitely highly recommend and would stay again in the future

Deserves 10 stars!

We have traveled the world as a family, but this place excels! The photos don’t even beGIN to show how magnificent the setting is, how homey and comfortable the house is. We snorkeled and swam and fished and kayaked and relaxed and had a wonderful celebratory vacation without even leaving the oroperty. But when we did, we were close to the great dining and music and shopping in Key West. We found the Jump Off Bridge and some of us did. We will recommend the property to our friends and hope to return ourselves one day.

This home was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. We had 5 adults staying here and we had so much room and plenty of bathrooms! The view every morning was breath taking from the screened in deck. Saw some dolphins playing in the water just off the beach. I would recommend putting shades on the doors and windows facing east in case you wanted to sleep in. The beds could use some updating but I always pack a memory foam so it wasn't bad for me! We will definitely be staying again on our next trip to the Keys!!!

Great property

Pros - Great snorkeling and kayaking right at the house. Saw a shark, horseshoe crabs, stingray and lots of jellyfish and fish. - Wonderful home and property. Property manager contact was great. Property has 1 double kayak. - Beach towels are provided - Manager may be able to lend 2 single kayaks. - About 25 minutes to Key West which does have an organic market - The farmers market at the end of the street on Wednesdays is great Cons - You will need to buy toilet paper and paper towels - Only 2 of the bedrooms have an oceanfront view Side notes: - Bahia Honda state park is nice but we were there at sunset and were attacked in mass by no-seeums which made us itchy for the rest of the trip. - Key West's downtown and Mallory Square had changed significantly since we were last there. Hardly any street performers and the shops sold much of the same touristy goods. - FYI, use the wifi password from the book

It's a great location in a residential area but still close enough to Key West and other close by restaurants. The house is well equipped in the kitchen as well as having fishing equipment, kayaks, basketball court and bicycles for fun outside. Great for kids with the small beach just a few feet from the door. The grounds are very well landscaped with plenty of chairs, tables and loungechairs scattered around the property, a great wintertime getaway

Beautiful house on Sugarloaf Key

Our family had a lovely stay at this quiet, well maintained home. It is nicer in person than it appears in the photos. We enjoyed beautiful views from the lanai, kayaking in the bay and biking in the neighborhood. We loved how the doors to the lanai open wide to let in the sea breezes. The house is well stocked with beach toys, snorkeling gear, fishing rods, extra linens and all of the kitchen supplies we needed--it feels like you are staying in a friend's home rather than a rental. The manager, Cindy, was helpful and available to answer any questions.

Paradise Found!!!

Our family gathered for spring break: grandparents, parents and tween-kids. When we arrived we had seen the pictures online but the reality was SO MUCH MORE! The property is a tropical paradise with different seating areas around the area, each more beautiful than the other. The house is open and spacious with plenty of room for everyone, even our multigenerational group. Most of our "inside" time was spent on that fabulous screened porch that opens completely into the house, even during our rainy day. We cooked "in" several nights and the kitchen had everything any cook could need, even spices. The water views were fabulous and the sunrise from my bed popped me up everyday to grab my camera! There were games, kayaks, bikes, a basketball court, and toys for tots - something for everyone (didn't even need the TVs in every room). The house was spotless with up to date appliances and wireless internet when we arrived and also stocked with plenty of towels, etc. I would unhesitatingly recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit the keys! For us it was perfect about 15 miles from the hustle and bustle of Key West, but not a deterrent from visiting the city by car. Anyone considering a rental should also have a car since there is very little within walking distance.

A Dream Come True! We have always wanted to rent a house in the Florida Keys and this house was PERFECT!! The house itself was clean and beautifully furnished and had everything one could want to make their stay comfortable. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch outside the living room where we could just sit and enjoy the wonderful view. It was so peaceful... just what one needs to escape a busy work schedule. And of course there is the private beach area for relaxing in the sun - heaven! We picked Sugarloaf Key for its proximity to Key West. There is a wide variety of restaurants to pick from and of course it's a great place to explore. The owners of this property were very accommodating and were quick to respond with any of our questions. Needless to stay, we plan on going back next year.!

Fantastic!

Brought the family and friends here for a week after a cruise in Miami and staying here was the definitely the highlight of our trip. The house is great and the perfect secluded beachfront getaway! The maintenance and decor in the house were top notch and the floorplan provided private bedrooms for all. We especially enjoyed cocktail hour on the private beach and watching the moonrise over the ocean later after dinner. The open floorplan kitchen and greatroom lead to a covered/screened deck for convinent patio dining and all glass sliding doors open the entire back of the house if you don't plan to use the central air conditioning (which operated well and looked brand new). Location is close 15min drive to Keywest and 20mins up the road to some great diving shops for those like me that enjoy scuba diving Looe Key marine perserve. Also some bikes and a 2 person kayak at the property which we used to explore the reefs outside the door. Owners are very nice, and easy to get in touch with, and were very responsive to our many questions during our planning stage. They also helped us with some suggestions on restaurants & local activites to try. In closing, I'll definitely be making this an annual sojourn when the weather is cold here in California and begin to miss being in the warm, clear waters of Florida Keys I can't wait to get back next year!

Our Family Trip

Your house is just beautiful!! From the views of the ocean and Florida Keys to the close proximity to Key West, we enjoyed it all. The house is beautifully appointed, and feels like home! The grill out on the deck lets the cook enjoy the ocean breeze while family sunbathes, reads on one of the several decks and patios, or fishes outside near the beach. TV in each room but we never even used it - kayaking, biking, walking, exploring the resident lobsters near the dock, or filming the visiting fishes, this house fulfilled our dream of a vacation in the Keys! Thanks so much, and we hope to come back soon!

An Amazing House

We were 9. 4 adults 5 kids. The house was an amazing match to what we needed in order to celebrate great Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends ... The house is well equipped if you would like to cook or BBQ. There is plenty of room inside and out. It is a perfect place for a great family or a group vacation for adults and kids. Not to mention the great garden and the views that are out of this world. The bonus is the owners. Very nice and attentive . Thank you Mary and Tony for letting us use your beautiful, amazing house. I am sure we will come back soon...

We have always loved the Keys. Had been vacationing and fishing there for 20 years. Saw the property in 1994, and fell in love with the gorgeous view, exposure and wonderful possibilities. After purchasing the home, we remodeled it extensively, including the foliage, and developed it to what it is today. Paradise.
