Welcome to A Key West Heart! We are thrilled to host you at our breathtaking semi-oceanfront beach house, designed for a cozy and relaxing vacation. You'll find Key West Island-style decor and upscale furnishings throughout the home, perfect for you, your family, and your pet to unwind while making lasting memories.

Step outside and take a refreshing dip in the in-ground pool, or find a shaded spot under the house to cool off in the hammock. The beautiful sandy beach is right across the street, offering easy access for you and your family to enjoy the sand and surf.

The views from this beach house are truly spectacular. Head up to the rooftop deck for panoramic ocean views, or relax on the screened porch. We highly recommend watching a sunset over the beach from here!

Here is a breakdown of the bedrooms:

For your convenience, sheets and towels are provided.

Please notify us if you plan to bring pets. There is a $250 pet fee per dog, with a maximum of two dogs allowed per property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent a long weekend at this property with entire family (7 adults and 2 kids). House was set up quite well with the 5 bedrooms and plenty of areas to hang out on the multiple decks. Location across the road from the beach was terrific. Due to Hurricane Erin, we missed out on a beach day, but the pool at the house was a great option for that day, and after spending time at the beach on the other days. The kitchen was pretty well stocked for our group and the second refridgerator in the lower level came in very handy since we had 9 people.I would definitely recommend this house to family and friends and would stay here again if I come back to Virginia Beach for future vacations.

Great family house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great property, very close to the beach. Nice layout either way great outdoor spaces. The house had not been properly cleaned when we arrived, floors were not vacuumed and fridges were both dirty. The management company was great, offering to send someone to take care of the problem immediately. Also the icemaker was not working and had not worked the previous week. It would have been helpful to know ahead of checking in.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and our apologies on the cleanliness we have addressed the issue moving forward and I can assure you your next stay at A Key West Heart will be up to all our standards! On the ice maker my sincere apologies It is on Me, Aimee and I just completely dropped the ball on that one- So I switched to writing important info onto the check in packages just in case. It is a newer fridge and under warranty and the part has arrived and getting fixed today between 1-3!

The location of this property is absolutely wonderful. Highlights include the screened-in porch with its ocean view, the spacious patio with views of both the ocean and bay, and the crow’s nest. The swimming pool is huge with plenty of room for lounging, and we enjoyed the games provided — shuffleboard, cornhole, and foosball.The layout worked well with a wraparound second floor and not too many steps. The views from the living room and kitchen were lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the large smart TVs, reliable internet, and reclining living room furniture made movie nights extra cozy.This house was perfect for two adults and two dogs. There’s space to entertain 15–20 people, though with only three bathrooms, that could be a challenge.The house itself could use some updates. The keyless entry didn’t work, so we had to carry keys, and the door handle was broken, making it difficult to lock. Some faucets and fixtures could be refreshed, and parts of the flooring show water damage.Even so, the location was everything. The screened-in porch became our favorite spot, the appliances worked well, and the beach is directly across the street. The fantastic outdoor spaces more than made up for what the house lacked.All in all, it was exactly what we were looking for — comfortable, fun, and perfectly situated — though it would truly shine with a little TLC.

Could use a little TLC

We really enjoyed our stay. Does the place need some TLC yes but did it serve its purpose….ABSOLUTELY. The pool was perfect for our family. It was very hot the week we were there. It was nice to relax and float when we were not at the beach. I recommend buying/bringing some hammock floats. The beach is very close. We rented chairs and umbrellas for the week. There was some sand toys in the outside closet which was an added bonus. There were a couple chairs left behind that people might be able to use as well. Place could have been cleaner. Some surfaces were not wiped off. Drink rings on several of the tables. Sand is always an issue at beach houses. I would suggest a pair of inside saddles/slippers if you hate sandy feet. I was able to find a broom which was as helpful. The property manager was responsive to our requests. The front door lock was in need of repair. They mentioned they might be updating to a coded lock. That would nice so guest don't have to keep track of keys and don't have to waste time getting them and dropping them off. A nice addition in the future would be a bigger table with chairs on the screen porch so families can eat outside. When kids are wet it is nice to stay outside and eat. They have a small table but only enough room for 4 people. Make sure if you stay here you bring everything on their suggested packing list. There is nothing extra in the house.
