Uno de una especie de cabina situada en el Parque Nacional Grand Teton

Nuestra cabaña tiene una ubicación espectacular, justo en frente de los picos de Grand Teton. Un Parque Nacional raro en-explotación, la cabina está en la frontera del Parque Nacional Grand Teton y Bridger-Teton National Forest, con vistas al parque y ofreciendo el senderismo por la puerta trasera.

La cabina se encuentra en la sombra de la montaña, llamada así debido a que el Grand Teton proyecta su sombra sobre este punto exacto cuando el sol se pone detrás de las montañas. Este es el lugar para ver puestas de sol de montaña hermosa, cada una diferente a cualquier otro, con los rayos de la luz radiante de los picos de tan sólo unos minutos antes de que llegue la noche estrellada.

La cabina se encuentra en un campo abierto de 1 acre lleno de flores silvestres en el verano. Está lejos de otras casas, pero no se siente a distancia. Es un rápido 10 minutos en coche - o un paseo en bicicleta preciosa - hasta la entrada del Parque Nacional y de un supermercado de Dornan, restaurantes y legendaria tienda de vinos. Hay una cálida manantiales cercanos, donde los niños juegan con diminutos pececillos con sus redes, mientras que sus padres practican kayak rollos. Las manadas de antílopes bisonand deambulan en los pisos por debajo de la cabina. Se encuentra a 25 minutos en coche de la ciudad de Jackson, donde hay mucho que explorar y disfrutar. • El alojamiento de lujo. Se trata de una cabina pequeña, simple y cómodo al 100%, pero no es nada.

• servicio de Internet no está funcionando este año. ¡Lo siento! Los teléfonos inteligentes son por lo general bien.

I absolutely loved the cabin. The views are awesome. Very private and comfortable. Location for me to view moose was perfect. This cabin is definitely one of a kind with antique items for decor that I enjoyed looking at in the evening hours. I would stay here again.

This quiet, rustic cabin had everything we needed for a fantastic week in the Tetons. It is so close to everything that we were able to go to our place of the day, come back for a few hours, make lunch or dinner and go back out in the evening. The view is amazing! You are staring at The Tetons. We had two mule deer grazing around the cabin. One looked in the window. The kitchen had what we needed, equipment wise, to prepare food. We loved the wood stove. The stars are incredible. It is rustic, as described. There is some wacky lighting and the bed is a double but we found these inconveniences more than worth the location, charm, and value.

Just an amazing property if you want to be away from the crowds and be immersed in the sounds and sights of Yhe Grand Tetons. We felt honored to be a part of this family-owned cabin. The real McCoy. No gimmicks or kitsch. Down-to-earth with wonderful momentous, maps, a piano, music, and books. Camera was very responsive. Be sure you know how to get back (figure out the route in reverse) in case you’re late getting back from Yellowstone. Dark skies are no joke! The Milky Wsy never looked better! Hope to return and do more forest-bathing!

I was not impressed with property but the listing started it was not luxurious. Bed were not great and interior was so so. A lot of electrical cords powering different lights. Very dark place that could be greatly improved by putting in better light bulbs. Not sure why no microwave but really no room in very small kitchen. Bbq grill is charcoal which is not the best option. Location was great and views were nice. It rained and the front path is all dirt so be aware of that. Just was not what my family was hoping for but the many reviews are all positive so maybe I am just a crying baby. This place could be great with a little love from the owners

I've thought a lot about how to word my review, and even if I should do it. This is not a positive review, so be warned. This is a very rustic cabin at best, the location definitely has great value but overall, the cost is exhorbitant for what you get. Everything worked, the expected appliances, kitchen supplies, etc were included, ond of course there were sufficient bedding and bath towels. The rooms are very dark, poorly lit. Extension cords everywhere. Really - everywhere. And still, even considering all the uncovered extension cords, the rooms remain dim. This is advertised as a 2 bedroom structure, and if anyone thinks the bunk room (bedroom 2), at 4x7 or so feet, should be labeled a "bedroom" is a mystery to me. It's a tiny room and the flimsy-appearing bunkbed frame looks dangerous to me.The grounds around the cabin are rough and can be hard to navigate for an older person. That should be mentioned in their posting before someone slips or trips and breaks a limb.The contents of the cabin, the wall decor, books, photos, and all the other ephemera , make the cabin perhaps a one of a kind listing.I can not stay here again, at least not without acknowledgement from the owner that the cabin's many wiring issues will be addressed.

Dear Steve, Thank you for your detailed and honest review. It's true that we use extension cords all around the cabin -- have for decades -- but we are planning to upgrade the wiring before the next season 2027. Otherwise, yes, we advertise our cabin as a rustic cabin and yes the grounds are in their natural state and we have no intention of changing any of that. The cabin is still a family retreat and has all the family memorabilia, yes. We don't intend to change any of that either. As far as being dim, the cabin has a wall of windows in the front and I don't think of it as dim in the daytime, just low lighting at night. So I guess it was not a good match for you and we will be upgrading the wiring. Thanks again for your suggestions. Candra

Cabin was rustic and very nice, stayed 4 nights. Amenities are slim (no tv, internet, dishwasher or microwave) however I enjoyed the simplicity of it and the peace of being without screens and enjoying nature and the National Park. Host is very thorough with the notes she provides on everything which is appreciated. View from the cabin is great since you can see the Tetons from the large living room window and outside. Only suggestion would be to trim some of the trees for a better view but I am not sure if that’s possible since there is another cabin below. Location is also great, not too far from Mormon Row and was a good base camp while exploring the National Park. Wildlife: Woke up one morning to Mule Deer outside the cabin and heading towards the park from the cabin the Bison herd had moved into the area and was very close to the road.Only a couple downsides in my opinion, lighting and price. Lighting was not too bad once I figured it out but you can tell lighting in the cabin was an afterthought since the lights are mostly connected to outlets by extension cords and hung around. I just had to follow the wiring in some cases to find which light it went to.The bigger downside for me was the price. I understand it’s in a good location but I just think it was a little on the expensive side for a cabin that is older that is without certain amenities but I understand it probably has a good bit of sentimental value. Overall loved it and would recommend.

We'll talk about how to upgrade before next season. I appreciate the suggestion. Regarding price, the cabin is priced lower than most accommodations in Jackson and we haven't raised the price for years - it is actually comparable to the cost of an inexpensive motel in town. The location is a perfect balance between seclusion and proximity to the park. I loved the access road to get to the house as it has some secret pullouts that tourists wouldn't know about. These are perfect for sunrise/sunset and star gazing!

This has been our family retreat since we built the cabin almost 40 years ago. The 4th generation is now in the process of falling in love with the cabin and the Tetons. The contact person has lived in Jackson for more than 20 years and is happy to provide any assistance, including local tips.

Our family came to Jackson every summer to climb in the mountains. Father (grandfather, great-grandfather) was an avid mountaineer. We were very fortunate to be in Jackson when this unique parcel became available: an old-time ranching family decided to sell a few acres at the edge of the National Park. A handful of parcels were snapped up in a matter of days -- including our purchase! -- and the Park bought the rest.

The first dramatic feature you'll notice about our cabin is the views of the valley floor and of the Grand Tetons directly in front of you. The next thing you'll notice is the quiet. And the next thing you'll notice is a feeling of peace and delight. Works for everyone, all ages.
