This property was amazing! Plenty of room for everyone and only a short walk to the get on the slopes. Communication with the host was excellent. I would highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to Breck.

Great place to stay and location

Our family had an amazing time. The location is perfect. Next to the slopes and a short walk downtown. When I had a question, Mike responded within a few minutes. We’re planning on coming back next year.

Really enjoyed our stay

Perfect location and great accommodations for skiing Breck. Floorplan, amenities and sleeping arrangements worked well for our party of 8. Walk to the lift is 5 minutes and walk to Main street is 10. Was nice to have our vehicles in the garage since we got 17 plus inches of snow while there.

Best place we have ever stayed!

Cedars is the best place that we have ever stayed at. It is just a 1 minute walk to the trail and a 5-6 minute walk to Main Street. The home seems to be very well maintained and the new bathrooms were very nice. The kitchen has everything you would want and more. The owners were also very nice to work with. Ski in/Ski out is definitely the way to go. We will be back next year!

Amazing Location!

Wonderful ski-in/ski-out condo on Peak 8 at Breckenridge. Convenient to two lifts, Beaver Run lodge, restaurants and stores in the village, and Breckenridge Ski Patrol ER if you find yourself in a position to need their services, which we did. :( Extremely well-appointed, cozy condo. Owner is lovely too!

Great location and well appointed!

This condo could not be located in a better spot. Super convenient and close to 2 chairlifts, and I mean within a 2 minute walk, seriously. So many restaurants and shops within walking distance as well. Really no need to rent a car from Denver. Owner is very easy to work with and accommodating, also very helpful in recommending anything you need. Every room had a humidifier and the beds were comfy! Lots of spots to hang wet ski gear and the view from the Master is awesome! I highly recommend!

Awesome place to stay!

We loved this unit. Absolutely perfect location to ski Breckenridge. You can take a short walk downhill to Quicksilver lift or an equally short walk uphill to Beaver Run chairlift (recommend starting at Beaver Run on really crowded days). The sidewalk along the road had a lot of snow on it and we were able to ski all the way back to the garage of this unit. This is a nicely decorated and very well stocked place, you can tell that the owners spend a lot of time there. It was very comfortable, we loved it. Owner is super responsive with any questions or concerns. Highly recommend.

Excellent for skiing trip!

Proximity to the Quicksilver chairlift is tough to beat! From walking out of this condo units garage to where you out your skis on is maybe 60 yards, then you have a slight downhill slide of maybe 100 yards and yiu are in line for the Quicksilver lift. Condo is a classic style ski lodge with 3 bedrooms, well kept up, large garage that a Tahoe fits in, but a Suburban would not fit. Condo owner is good communicator and prompt in replies. Beds comfortable and plenty of hot water for 4 ppl to take showers and still enjoy hot water! Nice ski rack area in garage for 6-8 skis and boards. Will definitely seek to rent again on future trips to Breck.

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cedars Townhouse! The location cannot be beat and we found the townhouse to be much cozier than the photos portray. Most of the beds were reasonably comfortable, with the exception of the bed in the bunk room - that mattress was quite appalling. Also note that the description says this is a queen size - it’s actually a full size bed. You can tell it’s a full size from the photos, but I did want to note the inconsistency. We also did a lot of cooking here and felt the kitchen was fairly well stocked. We only wished for more containers to pack up our leftovers. All in all, we were here for a ski trip and the location and coziness of this townhouse far outweighed these few minor complaints. We would definitely come stay again!

Good deal, though lacking the final "over the top" touches.

Mike and Beth were easy to contact and to deal with. The condo was right at the corner of the complex next the road and across from the Doubletree Hotel. Unfortunately that meant a lot of traffic noise, including the shuttle buses and trucks that run up and down the hill; earplugs helped with sleep. We rented another unit in the complex last year, and it had more updated kitchen and an extra shower in the spare bathroom; which this one lacked. This one was cozy and spacious enough, with easy access to the lifts. Another improvement that would be great, are softer mattresses. The one in the master bed was acceptable. But the ones in the second and third bedrooms are quite hard, which made it difficult for some of us to get a good nights sleep. We also appreciated the maintenance / groundskeeper (?) who shoveled the snow off the lower balconies so we could enjoy the outdoor space during our stay. We had an issue with the CO detector going off, but a quick call to the owners solved that problem.

Great location

Finding and getting comfortable in Cedars 42 was very easy. Main access is through the garage - even for the pizza guy, as the front door is set well back from the road. This is one of the older townhomes in Breck, which makes sense given its proximity to the Quicksilver lift - you really cannot get closer! That said, you do still have to walk a short distance through the complex to get to the slopes both going out and coming in. We found that skiing to the end of the parking lot just uphill was easiest, with a short walk downhill on the sidewalk to the Cedars. It was an easy walk to the main part of town, the lift ticket office, ski rentals, restaurants, etc. The unit has been well maintained and all the amenities are there. We had 6 people stay quite comfortably. Lots of hot water, heat was easy to maintain - although the living room fireplace that is used in addition to the electric baseboards has a fan that is a bit noisy. I will say the gas BBQ you see in the photos is NOT the one for use by renters. There is a small table-top style charcoal grill for them. We elected to broil our steaks in the oven instead and that worked out fine. You will have a fine time renting this unit.
