This was absolutely the worse experience on all travels with Vrbo’s. I came in town for my son’s wedding and had my parents flying in as well. When I first arrived, I could not access to get in. Code worked, but someone locked door. I walked around home to see if there was another way in. Basement door was open so went in, all of a sudden a woman said who’s here, I am in bathroom. Thought I was scammed at this point, so called host. Come to find out there is a tenant that lives in basement and has access to upstairs if that latch is not slid over locked. That put me and that tenant in a bad position. Then, there is nothing including toilet paper, so make sure you come prepared with everything. I have never had that happen before Then, there was an insect infestation in the upstairs master bathroom all over ceilings, walls, shower. So sent host pictures, and they were sending someone next day to clean, then the following day to treat. Then, when their worker came out to clean not only master bathroom, also kitchen light that was full of insects, he noticed the upstairs shower water was not working, so called host once again. They were sending plumber out, but late in the day, and my son’s rehearsal dinner was that evening so had to go rent a hotel room to shower for myself and family. Day 3 we received Amazon delivery of toilet paper, too late, and they treated for insects. But, now we had no hot water to shower!!More to story! Where’s my promised credit!
