Downtown Condo with Incredible Mountain Views

Summary:

The Vélo Mountainview Condo is the perfect city getaway. It's a balance of luxury living and chic downtown environment. It's located in a very safe and very walkable neighborhood in the middle on the famous Library Square District, where there are lots of interesting cafes, restaurants, and attractions nearby. There is a trolley stop about a block from the condo which can take you to any of the attractions in Salt Lake City within a few minutes.



The Space:

Travelers looking for modern amenities will love the rooftop patio with it's oversized hot tub, fireplace, comfortable lounge chairs, with breathtaking views of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains. If you feel like staying inside, there is an on-site indoor movie theater that screens free movies from time to time, or you can reserve the whole theater if you'd prefer to do a private movie screening. There is also a large 24-hour fitness center that has plenty of high-end cardio machines, free weights, and cable machines that will satisfy even the most avid exercise enthusiast. Parking is free and is located in a secure indoor garage out of the weather. One parking spot is free and if you need a second spot, let us know ahead of time and we can reserve one for you, upon availability. Our guests have raved about this location more than any of our other homes.



The condo unit itself is furnished with much nicer furniture and décor than you're going to find in other vacation rentals. The bed has an ultra-comfortable memory gel mattress, plus we provide several different styles of pillows to satisfy even the most discerning sleeper. In addition to the several TVs in the common lounges throughout the property, your unit has a large TV in the living room with several streaming services loaded on them that are ready for you to log into. We provide a deluxe self-inflating Aerobed kit with its own sheets, blankets, and pillows that can be set up in the living room.



Finding a safe vacation rental in a downtown urban environment is important. That's why we bought this condo - it's located in a very safe neighborhood that is walkable, plus the condo complex was built with security in mind; nobody gets onto the property without an electronic key. The parking is extremely secure, with multiple safety and security features throughout the indoor garage. We own three units within this condo complex, so let us know if you need more space since we can offer discounts if you rent more than one.

Guest Access:

We'll send out detailed check-in instructions a few days before your arrival. To access your condo unit, you'll need an electronic key fob to enter the building and a key to enter your unit. There is a lock-box bolted onto the wall outside of the building, and we'll give you detailed instructions on how to find that lockbox, as well as a code to get into it where you'll find the fob and the key. Super simple!



Check-in time is 4pm, but we can usually get you in earlier than that if no other guests are in the condo right before you and if you coordinate with us ahead of time. When this site says that your check-in time is "flexible", they mean that we can work with you if you request an early check-in; it doesn't mean that you can check in whenever you want and we don't guarantee early check-ins. So please plan on getting our approval for your check-in time. Please request high chairs, pack-n-play cribs, blow-up beds, and strollers prior to arrival.

Getting Around:

There is an inexpensive trolley line right out in front of the building that will take you almost anywhere in the valley. This home is very close to several of the bus stops as well. You can look up either of their schedules online (this site prevents us from putting internet links in this section so we can't provide them). Look up "Trax" for the train schedule.



Other Things to Note:

WE HAVE NO HIDDEN FEES. Our only fees are clearly listed in several places on this listing: There is a a one-time cleaning fee which is clearly listed on this site. Dogs are welcome, NO CATS ALLOWED, any other type of animal needs to be approved ahead of time. Conventions rates & holidays will override the standard rates shown, even if the convention dates change. Some convention dates are not input yet, and will apply regardless of reservations and inquiries made.



Rates fluctuate automatically according to a computer-driven algorithm based on supply & demand. But don't worry, your rates will be locked in at the time you pay for your reservation, so if they go up or down, we will not charge you the difference or give you a refund. So no worries - we'll honor your original rates :-)



We can provide one travel crib (pack n' play), one baby high-chair, one self-inflating deluxe twin bed kit, and one baby stroller free of charge on request. Additional cribs, high-chairs, or beds can be provided, but each additional item will cost $25 per stay. Last-minute requests are not guaranteed.

Central location for UT Skiing

Good location and central to all of the UT ski destinations, if you want to go to Cottonwood Canyon one day, Park City another day and up to Snow Basin for another. Unit was as listed.

Convenient with a good view

An excellent experience. New and nicely furnished, comfortable, kitchen well stocked with dishes, glasses and cookware. Very large walk through "closet" with washer/dryer ant lots of space for hanging clothes/ storage vey convenient. Walking distance to grocery stores, Trolley Square and a variety of restaurants. Large window and small balcony with a big view to the mountains and morning light. Easy parking and entrances are ground floor but Floor 2 on the elevator.
