I booked the Earthouse for a wedding I attended in Springfield and it was the most beautiful, unique property I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Every room was spacious and immaculately clean. I stayed with a few friends and we were all blown away by the stunning architecture.The water is not the best quality, as the property is outside of city limits, but otherwise I have no complaints. I would love to stay again if I get the chance next time I'm in Missouri.

I was very disappointed from the time I pulled in the driveway and seen that the flower beds were overgrown and not kept. A property like this should be taken care of and the aesthetic ambience should be held to the highest regard. And it was not.The air conditioning in one part of the house was not working correctly. I reached out to the host and they said that’s just how it is.I had booked a three night stay and only stayed two nights because by the second day I decided to leave. I have to have air conditioning because of health reasons. I will never stay at this place again.Here I have added some pictures of the yard. There was no wood for the fire pit to even have a little fire at night and the table and chairs that were provided were awful . I’m pretty sure they were not even meant for outside use as they had been wet and looked like they were not stable. The chunks of wood that was provided around the fire pit were half rotted so I didn’t sit on those either. I was afraid to sit on the picnic table because I thought they might break. The other two chairs was so rusty I didn’t want to sit on them and get my pants dirty.For the price they are charging to stay at this “Earthouse” it is not worth it.It does not look like the pictures that they have advertised in the Vrbo listing.

Great destination!

I went to Springfield to visit the cemetery my family is buried in. I picked this place for my partner to stay in as a destination with our dog. He didn’t leave the house. We will check availability every time we return.

Awesome House!

Never stayed in a property like this. The pics don’t do it justice. Abundance of natural light and very roomy. Top notch accommodations for anyone looking for a relaxing time with family and friends. The fire pit was an excellent attraction for the colder nights and the showers were amazing. Will be back for sure and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place in Springfield.
