We are in the heart of Springfield, MO. This location is centrally located to Downtown Springfield and Missouri State University, Bambinos, & Mercy Hospital. There are over 50 restaurants, two movie theaters, 5 coffee shops, two parks, and AA baseball (for the St. Louis Cardinals). This is a brand new home, with 4 bedrooms, 2 full size double sink bathroom, plenty of off street parking. No animals.

This appears to be another one of VRBO malfunctions on their reviews. There is no booking number attached or a property for this one. We have asked them to fix it!

Hi Wayne, Thank you for your review and for mentioning how comfortable the beds were and how spacious the home was. I do want to ask for a bit of clarity on the 4-star rating, as there weren’t any complaints shared during your stay. In fact, I tried to be very accommodating; including allowing you to fill the 500-gallon water tank at no extra charge and not charging for the broken glass you mentioned. I always strive to provide a 5-star experience, so if there’s something specific I could improve, I’d truly appreciate knowing what that might be. Dixie was super accommodating when I reached out to change the length of our stay and responded quickly. The additional parking in the back was very convenient. I love that there were some snacks and coffee pods provided. We arrived pretty late the first night, so it was nice to have something there in the morning! The only thing we were missing would be a couple of extra blankets. Overall all great trip though!

Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Ample supplies in entire home and the kitchen was well set up. Could use towel and shower curtain liner refresh since those were a bit used looking, but otherwise great all around. Enjoyed the Christmas tree and decor being there for our family visit. Lots of comfortable seating.

The perfect place for family to be together for my dad’s funeral. The neighbors were loud at night and hot rod revved up at 6 am every morning but other than that, the house was cute, clean and accommodated all our needs.

Springfield trip

The house was lovely and we had plenty of room! It was so clean and comfortable and we loved the location. We loved sitting on the front porch with our coffee in the mornings.The beds were comfy and we loved that each bath had dinkd. It was perfect!

The house was very clean and well put together. Nice personal touches like snacks, coffee and laundry detergent. I had a last-minute question and the host answered my phone call the first time. The neighborhood is walking distance to the university. Most importantly, the beds were clean and comfortable! Parking enough for five cars.

Perfect space for our family

We needed a place with room enough for our family (sisters and adult children) while we were in town for an event. The house seems larger on the inside than the outside! Very spacious, clean and welcoming. Thanks for a great experience!

Great Reunion

We come here annually for an early Christmas gathering/celebration w/our MO family. My brother-in-law was the creator as well as a participating musician in the annual Imagine Concert honoring the late, great John Lennon that takes place in the historical Gillioz Theatre. As a result our family has paired the weekend event with an early Christmas gathering and reunion with our beloved MO family members.

Adorable home

Decided to head to Springfield for our annual antique shopping trip. There were 4 of us that stayed at this super adorable home. Owner was very nice and was easy to communicate with. Upon entering we were welcomed by a Christmas tree all lit up and decorated which made the home cozier. Location was perfect! Super close to the college, coffee shops and shopping area. Neighborhood felt very safe and neighbors were friendly. Would absolutely stay there again if we come back to Springfield!

Great hosted property. Very well kept and plenty of parking. It was a comfortable 4 bedroom, 2 story, 2 bathroom house. 3 of us shared it. We were only there from 10:30-pm to 7:15 am Thurs, Fri & Sat. But it was cute and comfortable and we slept well, nice and quiet. Inside was clean, linens could have been cleaner, and they wanted us to do a lot of work for that much cleaning fee, otherwise it was very nice. There were snacks and some were fresh. Coffee pot, pods & coffee condiments were all nice to have and good. Looked like everything was there you would need. Didn't use much. Will have a beautiful Christmas tree!!! Didn't end up being the area of town we needed to be in but that wasn't the VRBO's fault! Springfield wasn't hard to get around in, just took time.

Wonderful place. TV in bottom bedroom didn’t work. Don’t think guest should have to strip the beds. That is why you pay for a cleaning fee. Understand the trash and towels. As a suggestion I would get rid of the throw rugs they are are tripping hazard

Loved this charming home in a great location!

We had a mix up and tried to break into a frat house down the road based on house colors (our bad- house numbers matter!) I quickly messaged the owner and was in fast communications with her about the ordeal. Luckily, we got smart and figured out we were at the wrong house. The home comfortably accommodated our big party. The furniture in the living room was comfortable. We had plenty of space and everything we needed. My only tiny first world problem complaint is the water pressure in the showers. Showering felt like being rinsed off through a straw. That said the property was great and we would absolutely book another stay in the future!

Great location close to Missouri State University, hospitals, and Battlefield Mall. The house was very comfortable with a great layout for spending time together. The bedrooms were spacious and thoughtfully furnished with nice extra touches throughout. The complimentary coffee and snacks were such a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Maryland House to others visiting Springfield!
