This cozy house is thoughtfully and generously appointed, conveniently located, and impeccably clean. The kitchen has all you need to cook a meal, including salt and pepper and cooking spray. My family especially appreciated the Keurig and huge assortment of kcups, welcome snacks and drinks in the fridge. The living room and both bedrooms each have Roku TVs.There are plenty of paper products and soap in every bathroom and the kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with a variety of pillows and extra blankets. The bathrooms are beautifully finished and have plenty of towels and toiletries. There are no closets in the bedrooms, but there is an hook in each room with 6 hangers, which worked fine for us. The house is right on a busy road, walking distance from the grocery store, CVS, and McDonalds, so there is a bit of road noise. Amanda was very easy to communicate with and even dropped off extra toilet tissue ON THANKSGIVING, just in case we ran out. We will definitely stay here again, and I recommend it for a family of 4 or even 5, as my teenager found the huge sofa in the living room very comfortable. Thanks for the mountain hospitality, Amanda!

Everything! We love West Jefferson and the house was perfect! Very clean, warm and welcoming. Absolutely adorable! Had everything we could possibly need just like home! Amanda is great as well. Feel like we made a Friend. We will definitely be back to that area and stay at this charming house.

Our stay in Amanda’s lovely West Jefferson cottage couldn’t have been better! The location was so convenient, and the house had everything we could possibly need, and some things we didn’t even know we needed—like chocolate candies, maps, mints, toiletries. Amanda provided comfy beds, roomy tiled bathrooms, an outdoor dining spot, and a well equipped, beautiful kitchen. She also responded so quickly and thoroughly when we contacted her. This is where we will always stay in West Jefferson or its environs. Thank you, Amanda!

The house was great! Very nice renovation and upgrades and thoughtful details with the snacks and coffee. It was located very convenient to everything on Jefferson and west Jefferson. Host was very nice and thoughtful!

This was a quaint beautiful home that was immaculate and the host was very responsive. Being on a main road there was traffic noise, so I was glad we had a white noise machine. Highly recommend and the host thought of all the extras.

Wonderful location close to quaint West Jefferson shopping and restaurants. Comfy beds and plenty of room. Kitchen with everything you need. We had wonderful weather so we spent a lot of our time on the patio outside.

We stayed at The Beaver Den while visiting West Jefferson for a family birthday and reunion, and it was perfect. The home was clean, comfortable, well kept, and centrally located. Amanda was fantastic—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Downtown West Jefferson had plenty of shopping, dining, and activities, and it was a short drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and other nearby attractions. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

This quaint cute little house was perfect for the event we attended. Even though it’s right on the highway the noise level was perfect and we all slept like babies! Super clean and super cute! Would stay there again if in that location so much better than a hotel!!

I was born and raised in West Jefferson, which is truly the coolest corner in western North Carolina! I recently finished remodeling the home you’ve chosen to spend some time in. It was truly a labor of love and I tried to pay attention to details that I thought you would enjoy. From the granite countertops to the spa like bathrooms to the private and stunning back patio-I hope you will be just as comfortable as you were if you were in your own home. Beaver Den is named after my high school, Beaver Creek. Our mascot was the beaver, so that’s why you will spot one here and there! I hope they keep you company and entertained! LOL!
