Enjoy a large outdoor fire pit area with gas grill for fun get togethers. Beautiful covered porch on which to unwind and relax to the nearby creek sound. WiFI, Central HVAC, Washer and Dryer. Fifteen minutes from the Artisan Downtown West Jefferson with excellent craft breweries, quaint cafes/shops, and delicious restaurants. Twenty minutes to the breathtaking hiking trails of Jefferson State Park, forty minutes to nearby ski trails, fifteen minutes from the lovely New River. Come up to choose and cut your Christmas tree. During the summer float down The New River. A true gem in Ashe County.

The cabin was very cozy and welcoming. We loved spending time in the living room reading books and playing the games that were provided. The place was easy to find, check in was a breeze, and the hosts were very responsive to messages. Hope to stay again and use the awesome fire pit!

We enjoyed our night in the cabin. We did not realize there was no TV though. We would have preferred window coverings also, it seemed weird not to have blinds or curtains. The hostess was very nice and responsive, the cabin is very clean and is well stocked with necessities, except no baking sheets - only stovetop pans. The area is remote and quiet (except for the wind) and we really enjoyed that.

I did not get to come but my husband and son enjoyed the stay. They came for a family birthday celebration so they spent very little time in the home… maybe another time. Thanks for opening your home.

Overall a great spot. However they need blinds or curtains, a tv would be nice in at least one room. The shower was nice, however, due to no door it caused the rug to stay wet because of the angle of the shower head. Dining table is also a bit small for any other than 2-3 people.

Very cozy clean cabin with all you need. We needed a getaway to unplug and this quaint cabin provided it. Enjoyed sitting of the porch and enjoying the cooler weather! Host was very quick with replies to any questions.

Mountain Hideway

This was a Beautiful Cabin sitting between two mountains. It was decorated very nicely.It had everything we needed.The only things id say it needed were blinds over the windows (spooky),TV, slip resistant mat in the shower(tub floor very slick)My brother/Sister kept saying when are they going to cut the grass.We had a great weekend getaway and loved watching the deer play.We definitely would stay here again.

quiet out of the way cabin

Cabin was very clean and well stocked.....cabin is in a quietarea and fairly easy to get to....everything worked and has a parking area large enough for two large trucks...very nice place and quiet......

Peaceful cabin

We stayed one night. We spent the day in West Jefferson and came to the cabin that afternoon. It was nice and clean. We also made a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. My whole family had a blast, and the sitting by the fire made the evening calm and refreshing. This was a great place to stay.

Sweet Rest

Absolutely loved the cabin, the quietness and the rest we needed. The running water in the stream was so peaceful. Cabin was very clean, easy to access, the only downfall was I overlooked there was no TV. And with March Madness my husband was having withdrawals, LOL.

The cutest place

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this super adorable cabin! The host was an effective communicator and was very responsive with any of my questions/needs. The decorations are so cute and make the place feel cozy! We will be back.

Relaxing Peaceful Cabin

Only spent one night at the cabin it was really nice. I wish we could have stayed longer. We were greeted with chilled champagne and beer. There was also snacks and some provisions. To get us started. The cabin itself was very clean and tastefully decorated. We arrived a little early but the owner was so gracious to let us check in early so we had a chance to explore the grounds and check out the fall foliage. Very cool fire pit and grill area. The front porch is so peaceful and very comfortable. You could hear the near by creek. it was nice to listen to music and turn on the mood lights and just relax. We would definitely come back if we were in the area again.
